Lightbox thumbnail moving on export.

Hey Guys,
Please forgive me if this has already been asked. But I have not been able to find the answer to my problem.
I have a page that is using a static background image used by the browser fill option set to original.
I am then creating a widget using lightbox and dragging the thumbnail over a portion of the image (which is a map) . When I preview the site or export the site to a html the thumbnail moves to another location on the page. I'm not exactly sure why its doing that. Is there anyway I could position the thumbnail using a absolute property? Or could I anchor the thumbnail to not move around?

Working on this further - I found that when I reduce the size of the site after its been exported to a html the thumbnail for the lightbox does not move with the site.

Lightbox Gallery, moving prev/next buttons to outside of the gallery box

Hello,
I want to change the look of the "prev" and "next" buttons to simple arrows and move them outside of the big image that opens up when you click on the thumbnail, so that no part of the big image is covered by these buttons. Creating the arrow images are easy, but I've still got a lot to learn when it come to dealing with scripts.
Which part of the script do I need to change to move the location of where there buttons show up?

They don't display because the link to those buttons points to an "images" folder (lowercase I) but they're stored on the server in "Images" folder (capital I).

It's usually best to avoid mixing cases when naming folders and files to avoid these issues, esp on Linux servers. Stick to all lowercase.

Only Thumbnails left after exporting

Hi!
I whanted to share some photos from my MacBook to my MacMini to view them on the big TV at home so i Exported some events to a separate folder on the desktop and then inported them to the library on the mini from here (is this the way to do it by the way)but after this, when trying to wiev the pictures om my book there is no picture behind the thumbnail, only the thumbnail is left and all i get is a black background with an exclamation mark! Is this suppose to happen when you export photos?

Thumbnail/Quick Preview/Export have strange grey overlay

I spent quite some time googling this issue, so it's starting to seem like a "just me" issue. Yet I can't find a way to solve it, so here I go asking for help.
I have a library with a single project and a series of photos in it. Most photos have a crop, white balance, exposure, sharpen and curve global adjustments, as well as areas with definition brush strokes and dodge brush strokes. The dodge brush was used to make the "almost white" background around product in the shot completely white.
The thumbnails display a light grey (around 250;250;250 RGB, although it varies a bit) blotchy overlay in the areas of the image that are expected to be white. When I click on a thumbnail to bring up the larger image into view, for the first few seconds, while the "loading" spinner is visible on top, the grey overlay can also be seen on the enlarged image. After loading is finished, it disappears. If I turn on the Quick Preview mode, the grey overlay persists and does not go away. Images that I have viewed enlarged with Quick Preview turned off continue to display correctly when I come back to them after looking at other images, as if they are cached in memory. After I view a few dozen images, though, these correct versions seem to be evicted from cache, and I get the grey overlay during the "loading" period again.
The grey overlay does not correspond one-to-one with the area where brush strokes have been applied.
The scariest part of it all is that when I try to export versions, they are exported with the grey overlay intact.
I have tried rebuilding thumbnails, reprocessing masters, repairing permissions, repairing the database. The problem persists. I have tried disabling the dodge adjustment but unchecking it and then checking it again. The problem persists. I have tried removing the dodge adjustment and then brushing it on from scratch. The problem persists.
Out of ideas now. Please help. I would love to attach screenshots, but don't see an option to do so.

All you are seeing is the difference between the fully-decoded image created on the fly by applying the adjustments saved as instructions in the Version text file to the Master image file, and the Preview created according to the parameters you set in Preferences.
If the Previews don't meet your needs, try a higher quality/larger dimensions.
Likewise for your exports.
What are your Preview and Export settings?

APE 10: How to select a frame be the thumbnail for the exported video file?

I have Adobe Premiere Elements 10 and using Windows 7. I create a title and place it as the first clip in the Sceneline. When I export the video and look at the file using Windows Explorer folder view, the thumbnail shown is a frame from another clip and not the clip containing the title. How can I get the title to be used as the thumbnail for exported video files?

The file created is indeed the one intended and in the correct folder. When I double-click on the file the video is played and the first thing I see is the title. So the video created has what I expect. Go figure.
I'm starting to think that there might be a Windows setting that determines how Windows Explorer picks the frame to be used as the thumbnail for video files. I have not found any reference to it so far.
Here is some new info...
If I replace the first clip that has the title with another clip, then the thumbnail is created from that first clip. As soon as I add the title as the first clip, then the thumbnail is created from the second clip.
OK ---- I just found information that states that the thumbnails are created by Windows and placed in a file that act as a cache for the thumbnails. This prevents Windows Explorer from generating the thumbnails each time the folder is viewed. In my computer (64-bit Win 7), the thumnail cache files are stored in folder "C:\Users\Ramon\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows\Explorer". They have an extension of ".db". Missing thumbnails on photos exported from iPhoto to desktop

I have a number of photos on my desktop that were saved there from Photoshop Elements. They don't show as thumbnails, only JPEG icons. Photos exported to the desktop by iPhoto do show as thumbnails. Is there any easy way to get the Photoshop Elements icons to show as thumbnails?

Search macupdate.com for thumbnails. There are several items that will do what you are asking. If I remember correctly findericon might be one of them. It might be finder icon.
Isn't there an option to save Thumbnail preview in the save box of elements. I could be wrong on that.

Lightbox thumbnail rollover yellow tabs

Lightbox is working except that when I roll over a thumbnail, I get little yellow tabs on either side at the bottom. I don't understand what they are for, or whether they are supposed to be there. I can't find them in the code. Can anyone tell me about them?

When I export a video in Premiere Pro, the default thumbnail (appearing in windows file explorer for example) is never the best.
At my job, I need to create a lot of video that I publish through a CMS. Every time, i need to reset the preview thumbnail of the video because the default one is not accurate.
How to define which frame of my video will be used as a preview thumbnail after the video is exported?

This is not something you can control with PP.

Thumbnail problem on exports (partial image)

After I have exported my edited images I have noticed some of the thumbnails are not completed images, i.e. the starting from the top you can see part of the image then it goes to gray. This does not always happen. The thumbnails are in Windows Explorer, full size images are fine

Lightroom 3 has been doing that forever. It sucks. It did it in windows vista 64bit and now its doing it in windows 7 64 bit. Only get half of an image. The new Lightroom 4 beta is just starting to do it know too. When i take them to a lab to be printed they cant see the image at all so they cant do any adjustments to them cause they dont see what they look like.

I made a photoshop button that I'd like to have trigger a movie in a lightbox, but it's not showing rollover state. Is this use for photoshop button possible?

CS3: Garbage Matte is moved after exporting movie?

I hope someone can help me with this problem i'm having in Premiere Pro CS3:
With the 4/8/16 point garbage matte tool i have made a composition of different video-objects. When i export the movie some of these objects are being misplaced from their original position.
What can be the cause of this problem? I have tried exporting the sequence in different ways/qualities but this doesn't seem to help.

If the garbage matte give you trouble use the titler and draw
your matte with the pentool and use it as a track matte.
There is one advantage to this methode, you can feather the
matte by adding a Fast Blur.

Lightbox thumbnail background image states

I have 5 lightboxes on the page listed above. The expected behavior would be that the roll over state would drop the opacity by 20%. What's happening is on three of the lightboxes is a different image is being displayed. I've double and triple checked the states in each lightbox and republished, refreshed the browser, but to no avail.
Thoughts?

Exported iphoto pics to folder have no thumbnail???

Why dont I have thumbnails when I export photos from iphoto 6 to the desk top or file folders? When I try to upload them to betterphoto.com for a class that I am taking 7/8 th of the pictures don't have a thumb nail and Better photo cant up load them into my class web page. I can't figure out why some will upload (very rarely)...they all appear the same. OSx 10.4.6

Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the apple and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Be sure to include the options to check and repair file permissions in the Library.

Problem with Clearbox Lightbox

Hi Everyone,
I'm using Clearbox Lightbox 2.0. My thumbnails keep "jumping around" when I move the curser over them. Can anyone advise me on how I can get these thumbnails to remain still?
