Lightbox widget not displaying in browser

I placed the lightbox widgets in several pages on my website (http://www.goodwinsanimations.com/) on the pages linked via the Projects and Design page but I the widget is not displaying at all, or only partially in some cases. This is my personal portfolio of work so I really need this fixed asap.

The menu at the top (widget) works but the dropdowns do not display except in the Preview within Muse.

Could you please do a File>Preview site in Browser and check if it works fine there?
Also, please do a File>Export as HTML and export your website files in a local folder. Check if the local copy works fine or not.
If not, please send your .muse file to us at [email protected] If your file is greater than 20mb you can use something like Adobe SendNow or SendThisFile.
Please do not forget to mention link to this forum in your e-mail so that we can identify the file.

I've created a portfolio pagen using the lightbox/thumbnails for the desktop version which works as it should. But when I recreate the same widget in the tablet or phone versions, the pop-up/lightbox effect appears behind the thumbnails and is persistent. Lightbox widget not displaying correctly on iPad

Hi
Was wondering why the lightbox on my website www.hug-advertising.co.uk/work.html is working fine when viewed on a desktop
but has started trimming the images when viewed on an iPad. This site was created around about a year ago on a very early version (a new site is currently in development)
of Muse but have only just noticed that this problem is now occuring, any help would be appreciated.

Adobe Reader X 10.1.1: PDF does not display in browser

Hello,
If I click on a link to a PDF-file, this PDF-file does not display in browser eventhough I have checked "Display PDF in browser" (Preferences ==> Internet ==> Web Browser Options) but instead Adobe Reader X opens the PDF-file outside browser. What is wrong?

I solved the problem. I used Internet Explorer, 64-bit. If I use Internet Explorer 32-bit the PDF-file displays in browser. If I use Internet Explorer 64-bit Adobe Reader X opens the PDF-file outside browser.

I was trying to get the Lightbox widget to work on my webpage. I could not get the images to upload in the expandable box like they should. Instead of expanding out like the animated way they should, my Lighbox links kept opening in a new page and causing me to click the back button to see another image in the lightbox. I thought by deleting the lightbox widget and getting a fresh one might help but it seems to made things a lot worse. I was warned by a message that said "by deleting these settings you will not be able to get them back" and I deleted anyway thinking it was fixable. Now I can't fix it. There has to be a way for me to get the lightbox settings back into dreamweaver! Help Please!!!!!

i had the same problem, and then i noticed when in design view view, the web page that contained the lightbox on it was trying to use 5 or 6 other files, like lightbox.js and some other files. i noticed when i clicked on the little files at the top on same bar as Source Code, it gave me an error saying the file is not on my local drive and gave me the option to "get", but when i clicked on "get" nothing happened. I'm assuming you might need those extra files for lightbox to work right?
I don't know currently, and so i tried to "sign" into my widget browser, and i keep getting a timeout error. There's nothing wrong with my internet, so I don't know whats wrong with it.

Lightbox widget not showing images

I've installed the 'Lightbox' widget into dreamweaver (CS5) but when I use it on a simple test page in its default format, none of the images appear when tested in a browser. For 'localhost' I have the latest 'Wamp' installation running on Windows XP Pro (fully updated). I've also tried uploading the whole test page with (as far as I can see) all supporting files to my test site with the same failure. What is wrong please?

Have you checked that the paths to the images are the right ones?
For example, if your test page is in a folder called 'test' and you have the following code:
<a href="images/lightboxdemo1.jpg" title=""><img src="images/lightboxdemo_thumb1.jpg" width="72" height="72" alt="Flower" /></a>
it will pointing to the path:
http://yourSite/test/images/lightboxdemo1.jpg
If your images folder is at the site root (http://yoursite/images/), you can change the path to make it relative to the site root adding a slash without problems:

Glossary widget Not displaying on top

I created a Glossary widget , set it to display for entire project. It works fine on the first slide, but on the other does not display on top (other layers are displayin g on top of it. Any idea what I have done wrong?

Photos Do Not Display in Browser

I have posted photos to an iweb page and published to .Mac. When I select "Visit published page" from the drop down menu I am redirected to the URL and everything displays correctly. However, when I try to bring up the URL directly on any other computer - tried Mac and PC, Mozilla, Internet Explorer and Safari - photos, background elements, and header do not display.
Appreciate any feedback on how to resolve.

11g PS2 - Image used in page template not displayed on browser before logi

Hi All ,
I have used the company logo and placed it in the page template which has been used to develop the UI.The images are placed in resources/images folder and accessed the same way too.
Basic form based authentication has been enabed for the application.
The image is not displayed on the login page. Just displays a [X] and the shortDesc given to the image.
Once I login I can see the image for the other pages which use the same template.
Any idea what might be wrong here ?

CS5.5 swf fine CS6 swf does not display in browser

I did a flash project for a client in CS5 and CS5.5. I have done periodic updates in 5.5 over the last year with no problems. I just did another update and now that I'm in CS6 I saved as a CS6 .swf. But when I upload the index.html file to the server I do not get the swf. I get a whitebox with the title page the the player securuty message. I then created two index.html files, one with the CS5.5 swf and one with the CS6 swf, uploaded to the server ( site server) and I get the same thing, CS5.5 isplays and CS6 does not. I looked at the embed codes and the only diference I see is the CS6 calls the Flash 15 player. I'm up to date as far as players go so I tried to change the 15 to player 11 ( thats the palyer the CS5.5 swf calls) and I still get the same result.

yes, you're using problematic embedding code: <param name="swfversion" value="12.0.0.0" />
open your fla with cs 5.5 or cs6, whichever you want to use. publish an html file using flash and test with that html file. if there's no reason to check for flash player version, don't tick "detect flash player version" in the publish settings. if there is a reason to check , tick it and specify the required player version (and pick a version that currently exists).

Math symbols not displaying in browser

I'm attempting to study for CLEP exams on Instacert's website and have encountered a problem with the math symbols not displaying correctly. I did the recommendations by the webmaster and tried Google Chrome, then Safari instead of Mozilla's Firefox, and I have downloaded the webmaster's suggested window's font (symbol.ttf), to no avail. He's not familiar with Apple at all, so he's no further help.
I have attached a screenshot of one of the pages not displaying the symbols correctly. As you can see, the math union and intersection symbols look foreign and some of the other math symbols are not correct in other web pages:

My biggest problem in preview 4.0 is it freezes while trying to view large images across four apple LCD's. Sometimes I see a gray screen.

Css not displaying in browser preview

I have created 6 pages for a website in Dreamweaver, and as I worked I continuously previewed all my pages in Google Chrome. Then near the end of my work, the css formatting stopped previewing in the browser. The html shows up correctly, but the css does not show up at all for any page. They all show up perfectly in Live view, but not in the browser preview. I have checked the links for the css files, and I have tried multiple browsers. Any suggestions??

Are you working within a defined local site folder? This is necessary for DW to manage your links and assets. Go to Site > New Site or Manage Sites. See screenshot.
Are your links to external style sheets correctly pointing to files in your site folder or incorrectly pointing to files:/// on your local hard drive? See link below for details on how to link HTML pages to external style sheets.

Finally, run your code through the W3C validation tools and fix reported errors.

Lightbox Widget not working in template

Hi there, I have inserted Lightbox widget on page but opens pictures on clicking in a new screen. I have checked files as thought it maybe to do with them being in the wrong place, but they seem to be correct.
To check I created a new page without template & inserted widget & it works. Any ideas what I'm doing
wrong would be much appreciated. Seems something in the template is screwing?

Lightbox Gallery - TCN Widget not displaying live

Hi,
I wonder if anyone could help with this please. I've downloaded the TCN Widget Lightbox Gallery and it works fine in preview mode but I can't get it to work properly live on the web. Whenever I click on a thumbnail, the large image does display but that's it - there's no graphics (beside the main image) and it's not placed properly etc.
The site is: http://www.valuevisionglasses.co.uk and the relevant gallery pages from the drop down menu would be Ladies, Gents, Sunglasses.
It's probably something obvious that I'm missing but I've been tearing my hair out for two days over this.

... and Lightbox actually responds very sensitively to deeper nesting and wide ramifications of directories and sometimes and sometimes even in long file names, like "Alpine-Titanium-Alp23-M.Gun-54-17.jpg". For this reason I created for all my lightbox-applications one single lightbox-directory. There you will find all my lightbox-php-html-files and all the subdirectories for the corresponding images and from there Lightbox worked.
