Lighting plug in for photo elements 12

Is there going to be a plug in for lighting on photo elements 12 soon? This is really messing up my lighting creativity!

Photoshop plug-ins for photo CD files

How can I dowload the Photoshop CS6 plub-in for photo CD files? There was nont in the photoshop flug-ins folder.

That plugin was discontinued for photoshop several versions back, but depending on your operating system, you might find some useful info in the following threads:

If you still have an older version of photoshop that has that plugin, then using that version of photoshop would probably be the way to go.

Old plug-ins for new Elements

I'm running Mac OS X 5.8 (Leopard) and using iPhoto '09 as my "organizer". I just installed Elements v.10 and I'd like to know if and how to install plug-ins (On One Essentials for Elements and One-Click WOW) that I used for Elements v.4.
Will they work with the new version?

Exactly which RAW plug-in for Photoshop Elements 6, Windows 7, and Pentax Kx?

I have become very confused as to which is the latest plug in that I can use for the above combination.
5.5 appears to be OK with Elements 6 and Windows 7 but doesn't mention Pentax Kx
5.6 is OK with Windows 7 and the Kx but seems questionable with Elements 6
Can someone please clarify - it would be much appreciated... Thanks

Great 3rd Plug Ins for Photo Slide show? (Sample attached)

Looking for something like this (slide show), and would like advice.
Thing is, some say you have to update the whole thing every time you add a photo, not sure why that is, interested in seeing what's out there. Appreciate any and all advice. Also looking into Rapid Weaver, seems okay, Themes are a little dull and the plug ins don't really explain the situation well, therefore, for now, I will stick to iWeb. I too am interesting in building a music site and this is why I am using this example.

If you create a web gallery with iPhoto, embed it into your web page you can then update the gallery and slideshow from iPhoto very easily without having to use iWeb again. Embedding a MMe gallery in an iWeb page is shown in this demo page: MobileMe Galleries and Quicktime Movies.
If you create an photo page in iWeb you can add new photos to it via the Media Browser and republish. Depending on where you're hosting the site you don't have to upload everyting each time. With MobileMe you can just use the Publish Site Changes and you'll only have to upload those pages that have been changed.
If you use a 3rd party hosting service you can publish to a folder, use Web Site Maestro to optimize and upload only those files that have been changed.
I don't know of any method that would allow you to just add more image files to a folder on the server as a way to add to the online photo presentation and slideshow.

Can't find Twain plug in for Photoshop Elements 12 from App store

I'm running OSX Mavericks and have purchased Photoshop Elements 12 from the App Store. I want to be able to scan things into Elements but the import option is grayed out. I've tried to follow these directions (TWAIN not installed | Photoshop Elements 9 and later) however the file path they describe does NOT exist on my Elements 12 install. There is no ImportModules folder, nor is there even an Optional Plug-Ins folder. I've tried searching (and setting the search to include hidden, system files) but they are not on my machine that I can find.
Any suggestions? I hate to kiss $80 goodbye.

In the app store version, everything is inside the program itself. Right-click PSE>show package contents>contents and you will see it. You will need to authenticate with your OS X password to be able to copy the ImportModules folder to the regular plugins folder.

Lightroom plug ins for photo frames

I do all my digital processing in Lightroom and would like to experiment with printing photos with retro analog-style photo frames, i.e. slightly ragged black film edges. However, all plug ins I have found seem to require the layering capabilities in Photoshop. Do I have to get Photoshop or does anyone have a suggestion that works in Lightroom?

Have you tried OnOne's PhotoFrame plug-in? You can operate that out of LR. Although, that might be what you mean by layering in PS. Not sure how/if the plug-in works w/o PS. What I've found simpler is to take one of the photoframes I like in PS and fit it to the size I want and save it as a png file. Even if you don't have PS, if you can create a png elsewhere with the necessary transparency, that would work. LR will let you use png files as overlays in the identity plate part of the Print module. LR might protest that the file is too big, but seems to take them anyway. I've only needed up to a 12x14 size, but it works great and is quicker than a plug-in.

Plug-ins for Photoshop Elements 8?

When I google for plug-ins, I get a bunch of plug-in sites, but will these work for PSE8? Also, how do I intall the plug-ins? Do I just have to move them to a different folder? Sorry, I am new at this.

Vista Media Center plug-in for Photoshop Elements

So what is the scoop for Vista Media Center plugin? Is it still supported? Will it make it to Photoshop Elements 8?
Any help or guidance will be greatly appreciated.

I just started Media Center on my Vista 32 system, and the PSE 8 plugin was present and could open both my catalogs (though sluggishly). Beware that someone else reported they couldn't get the plugin to work (with PSE 7, I think) and that Adobe customer support said it was no longer supported. You can't trust what customer support every says (but they don't usually help you in any case).

Where is the TWAIN plug-in for Photoshop Elements 13?

I just upgraded from PE 12 to PE 13. Windows 8.1 system.
I did not see an option to import an image using Editor so I looked in the Organizer and found one. BUT, it only has WIA support for my HP scanner. And that means limited options when scanning. With PE12, I had to copy a file from an Optional Plug-ins folder to the Plug-ins folder. I cannot find an Optional Plug-ins Folder in either Editor or Organizer. Has support for TWAIN disappeared with PE13? I do a lot of scanning of my own artwork and the additional options with TWAIN are very useful.

If you have a 64 bit version of windows, there is no more TWAIN in PSE 13, only in the 32-bit version and the mac version.

Is there a good white balance plug-in for Premiere Elements?

Now that I've discovered and installed the Mercalli V2 Stabilizer plug-in (wow, is it great!), I think that the only thing lacking in Premiere Elements 10 is a plug-in to correct white balance.
What I'm talking about is a simple warmer / cooler temperature adustment plug-in.

A true white balance correction plug-in is no comparison to using the three-level Color Corrector or Color Enhancer.
If anyone has done extensive work on still images in Adobe Photoshop as I have, there's absolutely no comparison.
Yes, one can noodle around with the existing tools and kind of get there, but it requires a strong working knowledge of color balance variables.
A white balance plug-in has a simple warmer / cooler slider and can adjust white balance in a couple of seconds without skewing basic color components.

How do I access Camera Raw Plug-in for PSE 11?

I can't figure out how to access the Camera Raw plug-in for Photoshop Elements 11 ( on a Macbook Pro OSX.) I recently installed PSE 11, and when I select "about plug-in" within the app, it brings up a box that shows version 7.1.0.354. Does that mean it's already installed? If so, how do I access it to edit a photo? In past PSE versions I simply chose "Open file / as Camera Raw" but that option doesn't come up.

In the File Open dialog ensure you have All Readable Documents selected for Enable.
Click on the file you want to open
Change the Format to Camera Raw

Firstly, there's no such thing as Apache 9.3, there's Apache 1 (and subversions) and Apache 2 (and subversions). Your error message -

Secondly, I'm confused by your comment -
I do not have Apache 9.3 or higher but I think oracle should offer this in its companion CDOracle does offer the Apache server, if you're saying you didn't get it from Oracle then where did your Apache server come from?
Thirdly, I notice from your config file -
ErrorLog "|E:\oracle\product\10.1.0\Companion\Apache\Apache\bin\rotatelogs logs/error_log 43200"That you're piping the logs through rotatelogs, are you sure the logfiles haven't just been renamed?

Photo Elements 12.1 update

When is Adobe going to fix the problems with down loading update 12.1 for Photo Elements 12. I have done everything and then some to try and download 12.1, and nothing I have tried works. I have been using elements for years and never had this kind of problem.

Did not work did everything listed below twice and still did not work!

In the Run dialog type %temp%, it will take you to Temp folder where you will find PSEPatcher12dot1.log
