Lightning 8pin to 30pin adaptor for Iphone 6 Issues?

When i connect to my car or ihome radio for 30pin dock the connector causes my phone to permanently show volume icon on screen. Is anyone having this issue? It only goes away if I turn the phone completely off and restart it. It does not happen everytime but it is annoying when it does. It seems when it is triggered to malfunction is if I use the stereo controls versus the controls on the phone. In addition, I have noticed some interference or sound distortion while listening to music while using the adaptor. It is a certified Apple product purchased at Target. Am I missing something?

I have an Apple 30-pin to lightning adapter that I use in my car, since the USB cable set that came with my vehicle, including an additional remote jack with it has a 30-pin end. I've not experienced any issues with it and it has been working not for almost a year. I would repeat what wegras suggests, and that is to see if Target will take it back, or drop by the Apple store to have it warrantied.

The problem with the expensive machine that you are considering purchasing is that there is a physical disc. When you move around the needle can crash down. Apple has been thus far very successful at owning up to the warranties on this machine.
I would go with something that does not have a large physical drive. If it crashes within the year, Apple will not only refuse to honor the warranty but they will try to charge you to repair or replace. It's a real slap in the face.
on the brighter side there are other options.

I just got this and am disappointed to see that it doesn't work with Video. It does say this on the website, but I asked an apple person on the phone and she told me it might work. Anyways, it doesn't. I have an RCA cable that I could plug my old iphone 4s into and it would play video on my TV. Does anyone know how I would accomplish this with the iphone 5? it's for my car, not for my home, so using apple tv is not an option. one end of the cable is RCA (red, white, yellow) and the other is the old charging plug for the iphone 4.

If you're using a case on your iPhone 5, the problem may have something to do with the way your case was designed. Many of the most popular cases aren't compatible with the adapter becasue they prevent it from being flush with the bottom of your iPhone.
The workaround solutions are to cut out part of the bottom of your case so the dock connector will fit, or to exchange the adapter for the adapter cable, which is $10 more but plugs in to the bottom of your iPhone like the USB cable that came with it.
Personally, I just cut two small rubber parts of my case out (an Incipio DualPro that otherwise offers great protection, which I got at the local Verizon store). That solved the problem for me.

Does anyone know if there is a way to transfer digital photos from my Canon 30D and get them onto my iPhone. I want a Camera to phone connection. I know Apple made a product that allowed users to do this with the iPods but I can't find any of that information on the Apple Store site.

Don't know if this is an option for you but I use iPhoto. All of my pictures are there and I have created a folder called "Pictures for my iPhone". When I synch my iPhone with my computer via iTunes I have the synch transfer this file over. Works great. I think the phone changes the file size/pixel density of the pictures to a smaller size.

Mobile 8.0 for iPhone Issues

I have gotten the Mobile 8.0 up and working and it ws great, now all of a sudden when I exit the program on the iPhone and then go back in, I get an error saying that some services offline with a red phone handest and an orange triangle. To get it to reconnect, I have to reboot CallManager, then it connects again, until I exit the program.
I am stumped. This worked great when it was working now I am very confused.

I have the issue, but able to make some phone calls. TAC recommended we upgrade the ASA to 8.2.5 version witch we did over the weekend, but the problem didnt go away. now my IPhone gets an orange triangle then changes to red X with this message "some services offline"

Stereo docking station iPhone 5 using the 30pin adaptor not working

I have a upright stereo docking station that I used for my IPhone 4, so now I have a iPhone 5 I have brought the 30pin adaptor slot so I can still play my music but it didn't work. Does anyone else have this problem. It seems to connect and recognize the iPhone but does do anything else. Thxs

Hi, Yes im having the same issues with my Iphone 5. None of accessories will play music, only charge the phone. The adaptor says it will allow your old 30 pin accessories to play the new connectors but it wasnt untill i looked closely at the description "some accessories not supported" ..... some?? try alomost none!!, Im not against change as thats how things improve and get better but this move on apple's part is a stupid and very unloyal one to there customers. I would do a transfer of purchases from the phone and not sync. If you sync then it will want to start over and sync music that is on the MacBook Pro. If you want to transfer the music, check out the article below that will give you multiple options on how to move. I have also provided on how to sync with multiple computers.

Ever since I upgraded my iphone4 to ios6 I can't get stable connection with home wifi. I am sitting less than 5 feets from the router. My iphone either cannot find the hotspot or getting very weak signal. And it's so weak it will break every two minutes. My ipad is running ios5 and it connects instantly. My ipad can find dozens of hotspots; my iphone can't even find my home wifi.
Yes, I have tried every solution on the web, changing my router setting, reset network setting, recover to orginal settings.... NONE OF THEM WORKED. It is obvious a software problem. IOS6 does not support my router as it did in IOS5.
Seriously, if Apple does not fix this problem, I'm gonna switch the system.

It will connect via bluetooth but when I go to connect the usb charger it states that it is not compatible or you never get the charging display on your iPhone 5. It charges just fine when I use the AC charger in the house. At first I thought it may have been the cord but the same cord works fine in the house too. This causes problems when you take long trips and don't have any way to charge your phone while on the road. Has any one figured out how to fix an issue I'm having. My iPhone 5 randomly shuts off by itself. Then it won't turn on when i try to hook it up to iTunes it says its in recovery mode. so then i hit restore and its been stuck on waiting for iPhone.

This happened after I did a software update on my phone about a month and a half ago. My phone will randomly shut off by itself and wont come back on. I had spoke with an apple repair person over the phone who told me to hold in the home button and then plug it into my computer. When the iphone said that there was an error and gave him a code he suggested that I send it in. So I did and about a week and a half later I get it back and its on. Yet the problem still occurs. It shut off twice in the same day and for several hours would not come on. When it did I called apple again and they ran a diagnostic on my phone and said it was a software issue. So then why was it not fixed? They told me they could not duplicate the problem. And now it happens about once or twice a week now. And its happening right now. I have it plugged into my computer and the apple logo with a bar below it has been on for about 20 min now. And itunes is still saying "waiting for iphone."

The steps detailed below can help stabilize your iPhone.
Verify that the Sleep/Wake button functions. If it does not function, inspect it for signs of damage. If the button is damaged or is not functioning when pressed, seek service.

Why would you make a new account? This will likely cause many problems. Just get you old account enabled.
