Lightroom 1.4.1 Has anybody experienced corrupt print driver using Mac OS X Tiger

Hi folks,
I am starting to pull hair out! Whilst nearing the end of a print run for a wedding customer, my HP B9180 has begun to print what looks like dark lines on 'some' areas of my prints. I have done all that I can to resolve this but to no avail! i.e. Ink levels OK. Printer test sheet perfect. Print heads re aligned and cleaned anyway. Print done from Mac itself, such as iPhoto and 'Preview' - result= perfect print. Go back to Lightroom and the same happens, I am at a loss and just eight images away from finishing the job!! HELP!
Any ideas gladly received. Is it worth trying a fresh install of Lightroom? Any one had a similar experience?

Oh yeah: B9180 printer (with latest firmware). MacBook Pro running OS X Tiger and Lightroom 1.4.1.
A perfect combination for about a year . . .up until now!

I don't recall reading any previous reports matching your description. Have you tried deleting the LIghtroom preference file to see if that helps. Occasionally, it can become corrupt.

Not sure if you were responding to me or OP - my iPhone is on 5.1. The OP at the time of writing was on 5.0.1.
Also, the OP and I had setup our Hotmail as an Exchange server (similar to IMAP), not POP3.

My Adobe Flash CS6 Color Picker has ODD colors. I'm using Mac Mini OSX 10.8.1. Is there a fix?
I click on the color picker and where I have seen the normal #0000ff blue color on my windows computer, this mac Mountain lion version shows a purple-ish color. Oddly, If I enter the hex # into the color picker, and use it as a fill, the correct color displays on the stage but when i use the eyedropper on that color, it shows it as the purple color again on the toolbar.
I've seen a similar thing like this happen when using adobe photoshop. However, the usual solution is to just make the managed color profile set to monitor RGB. The only downside with Flash is there is no preference to set that. The color palette in Adobe Photoshop displays as it should with the correct blue.
I should also note that I'm using a Samsung 941bw monitor with my mac mini which could also be part of the problem.
I figured i'd make this post anyway just in case it's the OS & Adobe Flash CS6 and not the monitor.
I've included a screenshot as well that shows that i've chosen the purple color and then made a rectangle shape on the stage and it comes out blue.

Ever since I installed Snow Leopard (10.6.8), masking in QuickTime 7Pro has stopped working. Has anybody experienced this? Is there a work around? Can I use FCP to add masks to video?

Masks disappeared in old videos where I had previously and successfully added a mask, and I could not longer use QT 7Pro to add a mask to a new video. Has anybody experienced camera drivers wont work after calling Camera.getCamera() so many times?

Using Flash Player on Windows machines, since version Flash Player 11.4 - Flash Player 15 (ActiveX version), and every version after that we have experienced an issue in which Hauppauge PCIe cameras and Videology cameras or other non-standard cameras fail to work with Flash Player after calling getCamera() so many times. For example, we get the camera, and publish a netstream for 10 minutes, then we set the camera to null. Later we call the camera again and after doing this 25 times, or 100 times, the camera driver just seems to fail, and Flash Player acts like it is streaming the camera, but the NetStream info indicates that zero bytes of video data was streamed indicating that there were no pixels that came from the camera.
Has anybody else experienced this issue to where you have to restart the browser or the Windows process in order for Flash Player to be able to getCamera() properly again?

Yes, it appears that others have experienced a similar issue. Adobe has not yet confirmed that this is a bug, but it is being tracked here:

My 6months old Iphone 4S started to turn itself of or freeze before shutting down about a month ago.
I've been told it's the top water indicator that is broken and that the phone has been in touch with fluids-which it really hasn't!!

Has anyone experienced corrupted versions/previews since upgrading to 3.1?

I'm getting random corrupted images -- vertical tiled bands, scrambled images, images that are enlarged and selectively cropped -- showing up since upgrading. They appear in browser, and/or split view, and viewer. Sometimes deleting the existing version and opening a new one will fix the problem, but closing and reopening Aperture doesn't work. Deleting and reprocessing previews hasn't seemed to work either. This reminds me of the random "image not supported" bug in the Aperture 2.x series. The masters are all Nikon .nef files.
If anyone has experienced this problem and has some tips to rectify it, I would be grateful for the help.

Clem and UltraPix: I believe I've diagnosed the problem and found a work-around for now.
It appears that Aperture 3.1 doesn't "play nice" with any Nikon D3 or D3X files that you haven't reprocessed using the new algorithms in Aperture 3. The majority of my images were shot pre-Aperture 3, and I haven't reprocessed them. For whatever reason, 3.0 could display these images, but 3.1 can't handle them properly.
The "solution" is to reprocess the images; then the versions and preview display normally. Of course, reprocessing changes the look of edited versions, and you're being forced to do something you might not want to be bothered with at the time.

Ultrapix--the switching feature makes using smaller libraries slightly more feasible, however, that would make backups more time-consuming and multiply the potential for error. Plus, when you are hunting for an image, it's great to be able to pull up every image you've shot in a single library, especially when you've forgotten the project but know roughly when you've shot it. (I'm not the most diligent key-worder)

Has anybody experienced the iPhone off switch not working all the time.

I have an iPhone 5, it's about 16 months old and it has experienced an annoying issue. The off button does not work all the time, sometimes I have to press it multiple times and other times it just works. The worst case is when it does not work at all, very frustrating. I didn't expect this type of issue for a phone that is not even a year and a half old.
I did some searching on the internet and there are 2 schools of thought, the first is that this is a hardware fault and Apple know about it but won't admit it because it would cost them too much to repair/replace phones with the issue. The second school of thought is that it is a software issue and a backup/reset/restore will fix it; I tried doing this but it did not resolve the issue.
Further digging seemed to suggest that it was really a hardware fault and the only option was to get a refurb from Apple for a ton of money, not cool.
Anyway, if anyone has any more information that could help me resolve this issue I would greatly appreciate it.

@diesel vdub, thanks for your suggestion, I setup an appointment with the Genius Bar and found out in about 5 minutes that everything I have read up on so far is true.
Firstly the technician admitted that there is a sporadic fault on the iPhone 4s and iPhone 5 switches, something to do with the design of the switch that included a rubber element that rolls up (whatever that means) and causes the switch to fail. He then indicated that the iPhone 5s does not have the issue because the switch has been completely redesigned.
Since I was stupid enough to not take out the extended warranty the only options he gave me were to purchase a new phone or to get a refurb for $269, not cool. Why would anyone think that a phone would not work correctly for 2 whole years when the phone only cost about $600!
Since I have about 7-8 months left on my phone contract I am not prepared to pay for either option. I find it amazing that a phone can develop this type of issue in such a short time and then expect the customer to pay for their failures. Apple supposedly sells a very high quality product for a very high price, looks like they have taken a step back from this philosophy.
I am disappointed in the options that he gave me (I don't blame the technician) but I suppose I expected more from Apple in terms of quality and service.

Has anybody experienced the monitor flickering?

My 27" screen on my iMac began to flicker about 2 weeks ago and now the left side of the screen goes dark intermittently. My iMac is a late 2011 model.

Is anybody experiencing rapid % drop in use but not standby?

I'm experiencing 1-2% battery drop every 3-4 minutes while surfing/wifi and social media apps (facebook/twitter) or 1% every 5 minutes on phonecalls but +no % drop+ on standby so I am wondering - is this normal? iOS 4.0.1

I wouldn't worry too much about the rate the battery guage drops, I'd just look at your usage stats at the end of a 100% - 0% session. Apple say you can get 10 hours of browsing on wifi under optimal conditions.
So if we say subtract an hour just to be realistic, then a further hour because it's unlikely you will have a 100% signal and you may have push etc enabled, that's 8 hours. 480 minutes. So you should be seeing a drop of 1% approx every 4.8 minutes. Bear in mind that this is all just hard calculations, and there can obviously be a lot of variance where battery chemistry is concerned, but it should give you a ball park.
So based on that, maybe it's dropping a little quicker than expected, but as I said at the start of the post, I'd be more concerned with the usage counter at the end of a full battery run than the guage while using.

I did a search and couldn't find an instrument driver for this instrument.
You can contact the instrument manufacturer to see if they have a LabVIEW instrument driver.
Other options are contacting an alliance member to develop the instrument driver or you can do the development yourself. Here's a tutorial on writing instrument drivers in LabVIEW:
