Lightroom 2 watermark HELP!

Trying to add a watermark but it wont show up!

As far as I know, Lightroom 2 doesn't have watermark capabilities.
How are you trying to add a watermark?

Graphic watermark help

i made a graphic watermark with photoshop
the document size i checked is 1200 x 1200 pixels
i exported it as png to use it in lightroom as watermark
it is impossible to place it at the bottom
how do i place it where ever i want to?
when i scale it to fill the picture, it will go in the upper part of the picture
when i try to change the position with the little grid i can push it down until the middle of the picture but not more
how can i do?
do i have to change the photoshop document size?
if so, how can i do it without altering the graphic i just did?
it took me too long to do it again

In the watermark Editor you need to select an anchor point. Perhaps try the center point and then experiment with proportional and fit rather than using fill.
You can also create some horizontal and vertical inset, which may help.

Have you tried the Spot Removal tool (press Q key)?

Photoshop crashing, Lightroom not opening, help to fix please?

I paid for and downloaded Creative cloud last week, and have installed Photoshop, Lightroom and Bridge. When I went to use these programs I found that Bridge works, Lightroom won't even open, and Photoshop tends to crash after 3-5seconds upon opening. There is no crash report, or any other sort of explanation, and I tried logging off of creative cloud and back on again as the solution options say to do, however this hasn't had any affect on either Lightroom or Photoshop.
Oddly enough, the Camera Raw editor will work, but when I try to open the photo into photoshop, Photoshop again closes, this time asking if I want to save changes to my image. Selecting yes allows me to save the image and then closes, selecting no closes everything.
It's very frustrating.
My computer is an HP Pavillion, I think it's a notebook, but not sure.
I'm running Windows 7 with the following processor: Intel Core i3-2310M CPU 2.10GHz
4gb RAM and a 64bit operating system.
Can someone please help me sort this out? I'd really like to be able to use what I paid for

After having contacted Adobe by phone (very professionals) i tried what
they told me to do and everything is fine now.
First i was told to run windows in "minimal" mode", that means without any
service except the microsoft ones by using msconfig.
Then install : "AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool"from Adobe; in the dos
windows chose "all", that will delete all previous install of adobe
products.
After that, you'll have to delete every adobe folder you find in this
places :
C:\Programmes\Adobe\
C:\Program Files\Adobe\
C:\Program Files (X86)\Adobe\
C:\Programmes\Common Files\Adobe\
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\

Whereas I appreciate the links, I don't think you understand.
The first link does not seem to fit what I am looking to do at all, at least according to the sample I saw. It is not a custom watermark as I currently use in Photoshop.
The OnOne tutorial for Preparing a Watermark File has to do with Photoshop. I own and love OnOne's tools, but this is not the solution that I want. It requires too many extra steps, ie lost time, ie cutting into profit.
I currently use Photoshop for my custom watermarking. I also help others learn how to use Photoshop and Lightroom within our Pro Photographer's Guild.
I want to cut out this step and be able to embed a custom watermark file into all images without having to go to or through PS. When you bring a job of 900 images back to the studio, you want to cut out every possible step that would slow down the processing stage. This is why I love and recommend Lightroom to others.
Within our Guild there are photographers who look to me for advice when it comes to post processing. Up to now I was recommending Lightroom not only for processing but also for the wonderful web gallery features. But making a beautiful web gallery without watermarked images is a serious oversight.
I'm constantly encouraging photographers to make sure their images are watermarked before they are posted on the web.
This should have been the first feature implemented in Lightroom 2. I'm sure several of us who have made this request have influence over the purchases of others. I have people ask me about Lightroom vs Photoshop all the time. Now that LR 2 is out, I know I will be asked by others whether they should upgrade or not. If the Watermark feature is not implemented I am going to discourage upgrading, because I feel this is an essential ingredient professional photographers need in post processing, both for the web and for client comps.

I am using lightroom 5 and I have created a graphic watermark. I can not figure out how to make the background of the watermark transparent. Any advice?

Lightroom 5 history help

Can anyone tell me if there is a way to delete multiple corrections to 751 photos in the history without doing it to each photo individually. Yikes I messed up! I was making a correction to a photo and somehow I had pressed something that caused lightroom to synchronize these corrections to all of the 751 photos! aarrrgh! In the history it says synchronize spot removal & synchronize local adjustments a BUNCH of times. I did notice that the task bar kept doing that but I had no idea why and tried to stop it but it had obviously already made a bunch of the corrections to all photos! yikes! please help & thank you if you can

After a couple of years of using lightroom, it looks like I just inadvertently committed a mass auto-sync. I had intended on doing some minor adjustments to a single photo, but ended up changing white balance (twice) and hitting auto-tone (once) for 16,000 potos.
It certainly appears that your screwautosync tool will help me undo the last three actions that were applied to all 16,000 photos, but I'm a little worried by the warning which states that it isn't officially for use with Lightroom 5. Have you or anyone else done any testing with screwautosync on Lightroom 5?
I would appreciate any further information that I can get. If it works, I'll be more than happy to donate to the cause.

Lightroom 3 offline help file location?

I'm sure this has been answered 2 million times already in this forum but various searches ("offline lightroom help file") don't get me very far (I have found the URL for 2.0 though...). Checked the Lightroom FAQ and release notes too.

LOST a Wedding with lightroom 3.0 HELP !!!!

I am praying someone can help me. Lightroom 3.0 did not import & copy over 2,700 of my recent wedding images correctly. Only ~900 were saved to the correct source folder. The missing 1,600 are gone. I did NOT double check carefully but have NEVER had an issue in over 3 yrs with version 1 or 2 & simple took it for granted!!! Never Again!!!
I recovered ~120 with recovery software this morning.
I know there is a way to extract the previews as low-res jpegs but the only info I can find on the internet is for version 2.3 with photo.bragit.com.
LRViewer also does not work with version 3. Can anyone help!!!! I would be so greatful!!!

Thank you all so much. I just recovered 1800 or so from a readable flash card that wasn't reused since the wedding. i used my old version of lightroom 2 and it was able to detect images from 3 different dates although not even all the dates are still on the card. It's a miracle!!!
same as before i am coping & backing up in 2 locations & there appears to be no problem. I will continue to use version 2 until some of 3's issues are worked out. I talked to a manager today & he said they are working on it but it will be about a month or so for the updated version to fix 3's issues. I hope LRViewer will also update their software for 3. Adobe will not offer support for LR Viewer or give any advice on manually extracting pre-views as a low-res jpeg. Sometimes newer is NOT always better !

Lightroom 5 install - help!

I just paid up to updgrade to LR 5 I download the file and I just get an error when it starts to extract,
"A problem occured while extracting some files check available space on your computer and the write privileges on the destination folder."
There is plenty of space and i am logged in as an administrator.
I tried re downloading the file about 3 - 4 times now, and i get the same error each time,
I also tried disabliing windows firewall and security essentials, it made not difference.
I'm on a desktop PC with windows 7 64 bit.

I am getting the same error message with a trial download of Lightroom 5. I've tried to download and extract several times on 4 different computers. Two computers with Windows 7 Professional, one with Windows 7 Enterprise, and one with Windows 8. Download seems to work just fine. I can not extract the files.
I have tried moving the files to the root directory for extraction, creating a new admin account, rebooting my computer, extracting with 7-zip rather than the Adobe extractor, and selecting "run as admin" for extraction. I've also tried downloading from different adobe accounts. No luck. I called support - spent about 1.5 hours on the phone. They had me try the same things I'd found online. Still nothing.
I am getting the same error message on all four computers. "A problem occurred while extracting some files. Check available space on your compuer and the write priveleges on the destination folder."
7-zip gives me two new errors:
"Data error in 'Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5\setup32.exe'. File is broken."
and
"Data error in 'Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5\setup64.exe'. File is broken."
I am now getting the same error with a previously purchased version of Lightroom 4. Download works fine. I get the same error when I try to extract.
Any help at all would be enormously appreciated. I'm working on a deadline. (Aren't we all?)

Thanks for the suggestion, but that didn't help. Must be something to do with my OS or the way it's configured (maybe some installed codecs?) as it works on my desktop but not laptop. But then I have a whole bunch of other stuff on my desktop that may have changed the basic configuration. One thing I notice is that there is no preview possible in the import window on LR with my mov files - from memory (not at home ATM) the preview was there on my desktop. So that maybe points to a codec issue?

Lightroom Image Order Help

Not sure how to word this. In the develop module all of my photos are in order via image number. When I send it to photoshop and make edits I select stack with original, and when I save it and it comes back into lightroom is has always left the image in order in it's place. I don't know what I did but today it is moving the orignal and the edited photo to the end of the line of images and I just want it to stay in it's place. Please help!

It sounds as though you've (inadvertently perhaps) changed the sort order from "Capture Time" to something else, likely "Added Order". Go back into the Library module and check the sort order (in the toolbar) of the collection/folder that you are working in.

Lightroom 4 Watermarking box activation

Lightroom 4, In my Export One File, my watermarking box will not activate?

In the Import Dialog / File Setting you have to select any other file format than <Original>.
If you have <Original> selected the waatermark feature will not work and the export does not include your edits. <Original> means the state your photo was in when it came out of the camera.
