Lightroom 3.3 blew away all my library folders except the latest two
All folders except the two most recent are no longer there. The only thing I have done recently is imported 197 raw files last night.
Any help greatly appreciated

Right click the highest level folders with a "?", do a "Find missing Folder" and point to the location on the external with the correct drive letter.

I lost all my data while doing the latest software upgrade, how do I get it back if I dont have a backup on iTunes?
If you don't have a backup, then all your pics/text/notes are gone.
You can sync back music and app. If you were syncing your contacts with a program in itunes, then you'll get that back.
Not sure why you didn't do a backup, especially prior to doing an upgrade. -
I run 3 email accounts on Mac Mail, all 3 disappeared after doing the latest OS X update. I have tried adding the accounts back but no mail appears. Help!

You do not. Apps and any content purchased from the iTunes store are eternally tied to the Apple ID they were purchased with.

i lost all of my folders on the "On MY Computer" section just below my gmail inbox. I am using Outlook for Mac 2011. Can I restore those lost emails and folders?
Did you set up your phone to sync Contacts with iCloud? If not sure, you can log in to https://www.icloud.com and see if your contacts are there.

Itunes blew away all my songs on my computer!!!!!!!

I recently reformated my system to start fresh. Before reformatting, I had Itunes installed and had about 10 gigs worth of songs on it. Before formatting, I backed up my documents folder which had all my music in the my music folder along with the itunes xml file and everything else that goes with it.
I reinstalled XP, installed my usual software then restored the backup of my documents. After the restore all my music files were there as expected. I had not installed itunes yet. Tonite, I decided I needed to put itunes back on so I could add some new music to my ipod. I download Itunes, install it and follow the prompts. At some point during the isntall process, it looked like it was importing all the songs back into the itunes library. I come back a bit later and start itunes and lo and behold all my songs are GONE. What the ****. What happened, why would it blow away all my music files? My external drive on which I had the back up of my documents is at work and am hoping I didnt blow it away. I'm hoping I can recover the music when I get to work in the morning. But this really bums me out.
Can someone explain what I could have done wrong here?

dell m70 laptop Windows XP ProWithin iTunes you didn't see any songs but are they on the drive? If so have you tried adding them again? Sometimes the import during new install has made mistakes with the adding to library.

My Firefox is working fine, but there is a blue band at the top of the screen that says, "Downloading the latest applications," and it has a swirly, circle thing that indicates something is downloading, but it never stops or goes away. I updated to the latest version of Firefox, but the blue band is still there.

Okay... I made the mistake of creating duplicate Aperture libraries because I decided I wanted to only use Aperture - then the news that Aperture is no longer going to be developed. I then confused myself and created duplicate iPhoto libraries (I can't even remember why anymore). At one point or another I have edited pictures in all of them and have no idea which pictures were edited. I just want to have one iPhoto library with the most recently edited photos and remove all the duplicates.
What is the best way to do this?
And... after doing all that, I need to keep backups of my photos on an external drive. What is the best way to do this?

Aperture 3.3: How to use Aperture to merge iPhoto libraries
In merge-mode it will only keep the photos from one of the libraries.
And you can use Aperture to export partial libraries containing only the selected albums, projects, etc.
If you need to keep projects (books, calendars, cards) when merging your libraries, use Aperture and not iPLM: -

I must say the other I went to take a photo with an iPad and I saw so disappointed that all is did was snap a photo. I guess I'm spoiled with all the amazing things my galaxy can do while in the built in standard photography mode. You IOS people are really missing out on a great thing here! Just go and try to play with one either in the air or with a friend's tablet. I guarantee you will be blown away!

I cannot get my presets panel to work at all.
How do I remedy this situation?It most definitely is the browser that is causing most of the problems. I have used Firefox so long, I can't even remember. Maybe since its beginning. But today is a sad day. I gave up on it. I can't accomplish anything and end up spending hours troubleshooting. I see I am not alone. I am so sick of it "not responding." It's simply not worth it to spend so much time trying to make the thing work, so I can actually do something. Installed, removed, reinstalled numerous times, and I can't fix your software on my Win 7 Pro machine. No problems with IE or Chrome. So. as much as I hate Google Update, Chrome has won the test. Sad, sad day for me to lose Firefox, but it just does not work on the Win 7 machine. I don't have the same issues with the XP machine and have exactly all the same add-ons. Keep it up developers and you will have no Win 7 users at all.
