Lightroom 3 beta SDK? If not yet, when?

Is a Lightroom 3 beta SDK available somewhere? If not yet, are there plans to make it available soon?

I sure that I am speaking of all the plugin writers when I say, give us some information.
Yes it may change, but it would be better than seeing missing functions that we might need or bugs in the sdk that would not have been seen until after a shipping version.
It took a while for developers to get the hang of plugins for Lightroom 2, wouldn't it be better to have some availble to the public the day it ships?
Personly I would love to see just a list of new functions availble and let us take it from there.
PS: Please let us write our plugin metadata to xmp files this time.

I downloaded new update for Lightroom cc and it will not load when i click on the icon or go to program to open it.

I just downloaded the new Lightroom CC from adobe cloud. I have always used Lightroom 5 with no problems. Now after downloading Lightroom CC it will not open. I click on the icon to open.... nothing. I right click and select open..... nothing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled....... nothing.

Same here, I tried uninstalling LR CC and reinstalling, same issue. Looks like they need to work on some things. I'll just use LR 5 until they get it figured out.

Chicky, I have searched my computer for "iPod Photo Cache" and 51 folders pop up, plus 3 files (iPodInfo.plist, Photo Database and Image DB Temp.tmp). How do I know which to delete and which to keep? The Apple website page tackling this issue doesn't go into any detail. Thanks yet again.

Assertion Failed alert when exporting in Lightroom 2 BETA

Please help! I am currently using the Lightroom 2 Beta on a Mac (OS X 10.4.11) and installed a plug-in to allow for a graphical watermark. Unfortunately, the plug-in wouldn't work properly (showed an internal error even though the plug in manager said it was working fine) and when I removed the plug in (through the plug in manager) I now cannot export at all through the export button in the Library mode. I get an alert saying "assertion failed". Technically I can still export through the file/export option but cannot get to the settings window (filenames, folders etc) to show what folder to put them into or specify the export settings.
Console report: "2008-04-08 10:21:19.413 Adobe Lightroom 2 Beta[308] Oops! An untagged string (assertion failed!) got thrown far enough that we display it to the user. This shouldn't happen."
I tried reinstalling but must have missed a file as the same error keeps appearing.
Can anyone give me a hand?

Hi can anybody help or advise me? I've recently bought the i-phone 4s, I've set up my apple I.D and password but everytime I try and log in it says "this apple I.D has not yet been used on the i-tunes store" I click "review" follow the instructions and agree to the terms and condition's, enter my bank details but it declines every time? I've tried both my accounts and its declined both, this stops me from logging in so I can't download anything for free or buy anything, my sister had the option of skipping the bank details part when she created her apple I.D and just enters her's when buying something, why do I not have that option?? And why is it declining my bank details...please HELP!!!!!

The details I'm entering are correct, I choose visa as my card type, enter my card number, enter my expiry date and my last 3 digts on the reverse of the card, enter my address and zip code plus my home telephone number, click continue and it says "the payment method you have selected has been declined, please enter another payment method". I've lost count how many times I've tried, I've typed my details in slowly making sure I put them in properlly and it still declines it, I've even tried makeing a new apple I.D and when I get to the bank details part it declines it again so I am forced to press cancel and all details are not saved so its just like I'm hitting a brick wall, its ******* me off!!! Everywhere I search on Apple's Support site says to sign in to iCloud using your "Apple ID," which I did. I've had my iTunes account for years (even migrated from the old AOL account system). It's the standard email+password that everyone is supposed to use.
My main question is how can I have a valid Apple ID and not an iCloud account--if the two are supposed to be linked?

I've tried both. First, I tried on my pc, where iTunes had installed iCloud when it last updated. I have iTunes installed on this computer (and on my iPad and iPhone), but that wasn't the issue.
So I went online, thinking I needed a separate iCloud Apple ID, but it prompted me for my current Apple ID and gave me the message about my ID being "valid" but not an iCloud account," which, lol, was what it had asked me to do in order to create one. If you are within 14 days of purchase you can still return the iPhone and get the phone that suits your needs, however, I think you will find that no matter which phone you get the content provider will want to know how you are going to pay for future purchases. For Android phones it is Google, and they will certainly want to know.

Ok, you should generally only get this when you are converting your ID to an iTS account for the first time.
Sign into iTunes with your Apple ID and you should get this.... IRC once you agree or accept it's now an iTS account and you wont get that again.

If you can log into the computer, go to the Mac App Store and purchase Mavericks under your AppleID. Even though its free, they still consider it a purchase.
If you are not able to log into your Mac you can try on a different Mac. Once you purchase it, you can stop the download if you want.
Once you do that then you should be able to reinstall via the Recovery HD

My new iTunes account that I created for work keeps telling me that my email address is not yet verified. So I send a verification email to my main (another) email address, and then when I get a verification email to that address, it says that my email address is already verified.

You can resend the verification email by going to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under your Primary Email Address.

Were the photos taken by your new iPhone? If so, did you not import them off your phone to your computer (as you would any other digital camera) before the restore? If not, restoring wiped the data off the phone and your pictures are gone.

If you have never used the Apple ID to make purchases from iTunes or the Mac App Store you need to follow the steps to create an account with that Apple ID.

You already have the software installed that you need if you have 10.8.2.
If AirPort Utility cannot find the Express, that is another matter. More software is not needed. More troublehooting is needed.
Power up the Express for a full minute
Hold in the reset button on the Express for 7-8 seconds and release
Allow a full minute for the Express to restart
Click the AirPort icon at the top of the Mac's screen
Look for a heading of New AirPort Base Station
Just below that, click on AirPort Express

I got the same error message when trying to export a report to Excel format. This happened with an existing report that had always exported with no problem, until I added a couple of new formulas. After investigating, I discovered that one of my formulas was returning a divide by zero error if a date range was too small. Once I fixed that formula, it began exporting again with no problem. I discovered this by trying to export to PDF (since all of the situations discussed here involved PDF) and that was when it returned the divide by zero error.
