Lightroom 3 does not offer a choice of language for the trial download
I have downloaded the trail version Lightroom 3. Although my computer is in French, I wanted to download the English version of the software. All the tutorials and the literature are in English.
I tried three times but every time, it did not offer me a choice of language for the trial version and downloaded the French version everytime.
Can anyone help solve this problem for me?
I just checked Adobe's trial download and I was offered many different languages for the trial download.
The language choice is on the webpage before you click on <Download>.

When using Exprt PDF, the choice of language for the document to be exported is sometimes very restricted, while sometimes many more languages are available. What's the matter?

I now add 2 print screens which show what I get when I try to export a PDF from Adobe Reader and which languages are available.
The same problem does not exist when I use the website.

Save as/Save does not point to file open location for the file
Hi,
Working with large number of files it's imperative that I can rely on the software's ability to know where open files are located on disk, so that when needed I can save all open files to their original locations. Unfortunately CS6 wil save all open files to the location of the last saved file!
Even after a power out, or CS6 crash, all the recovered files will point to the directory last document was saved to!!
This means that if I have 10 open files from 10 different folders, they will all be saved to one folder, in which maximum one of the 10 files have been opened from and I will not know where they are if I follow their original file location (e.g from Lightroom import from camera).
This generates a very time consuming manual workaround, in which I must file-by-file open the correct folder in Save as dialogue.
Using "Save As to Original Foder" has no meaning selected or de-selected.
I don't know of any other software that suppresses original file location in save/save as...
How do I disable this unproductive and illogical malfunction?
MortenOkay, doing what you outlined, I'm getting the same result. It's acting like the file you open is a new file that hasn't been saved, and that always defaults to the last saved location. I'm not saying it should be like this, but I think it is default behavior. Only advice I can offer is to put in a feature request:

When your keyboard illumination is locked due to the ambient light and you try to adjust it, you see the grey icon hovering the screen. You may notice that this icon is pixelized meaning that it was not updated for retina displays. Since June 2012.
I've been doing some research, and it appears that Google Chrome may be the way to go. I use to really love Firefox, but it has become bloatware, eating up way too much memory. So sad, Firefox was the one that freed me from Internet Explorer and Safari.

PM 6.5 does not accept keys AltGr and E for the Euro Symbol
I have WinXP Prof SP2. Above key combination works with other programs, but not with PM 6.5. Anybody know how to overcome this problem?
As Jay says, it's to do with the extended character set not being read by archaic PM.

If you still have problems, download Adobe's free Type1 Euro fonts from here which will definitely solve it.

Does NI offer a generic LabVIEW interface for the PCI-1424 frame grabber?
I am attempting to grab frames from a DuncanTech camera using a PCI-1424. The vendor's software was developed in the LabVIEW, but I only have the executable and they seem unwilling to provide the source file(s) - essentially, the vendor software only displays the images (no capture capabilities). In the interests of time, I would like to locate/purchase a generic LabVIEW image acquisition front-end, if available.

Your PCI-1424 card should include several examples. Check the directory where the software for the camera was installed (Usually "Program Files\National Instruments\NI-IMAQ")
Also, if you have MAX (Measurement & Automation Explorer), you can access your card from there and snap images.
Other than that, I think you have to write your own code or ask somebody to do it for you.

Option key when starting up does not show boot choices. Why?
Holding the option key down when starting up does not give me choices to select for booting. I have to use System Preferences, Startup Disk to see the choices. What is wrong. I have tried to do this many times. I am a very experienced Mac user - since 1980s.

Firefox 10.0.2 / Does not offer restore session - Tools/Options lack Startup options choice
After closing Firefox - starting again does not offer a Restore Session option. Tools/Options lacks any choice for startup options.
How do I remedy this problem.The Tools > Options > General > Startup: "When Firefox Starts": "Show my windows and tabs from last time" setting should still be there.

Use a compressed image type like PNG or JPG to save the screenshot and make sure that you do not exceed the maximum file size (1 MB).
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Trying to change ownership of my old iPod. The advice here is to go to "Devices">"Summary">"Restore", but I find "Devices" does not offer "Restore" but only "Sync", "Transfer", "Backup", and a greyed "Restore from backup."
What I don't understand is that your iTunes looks different from mine--just a little bit. You have 3 circles, red, yellow, and green, in the upper right end of the top bar. INstead I have a square that is half gray. When I click it, I get a menu very similar to the menu under "File."
The only place I see an entry for "Devices" is under "File," but it only gives the 4 options I mentioned before (see below). There is no "Summary."
Here's another screen shot after I added an album to music. Now all the choices under "Devices" are grayed. -

Lightroom CC(2015) is Live Now. You might see it under "Find New Apps" section of CC desktop app.

If you dont have none option then you must own itunes some money. So you have to enter the payment like a itunes giftcard. you can contact itunes by email by going to expresslane.apple.com

I am trying to open my iTune 10.4 on my mac mini which is running OS 10.6.8, and I get the message that I need to use the information pane to open in 32-bit rather than 64. But the information pane does not offer this option. I'm in a vicious circle of opening, getting this message, then having to close. Did this come about after the June update of iTunes? And if so, why haven't they fixed it? And what can I do? You'd think Apple would want be to be able to spend my money in their store ...
Try following steps and test one at a time:
1. Restart computer, right mouse click iTunes icon and select "Run As Administrator"
2. If that does not work, check to see if this file APSDaemon.exe is the problem here.
Close your iTunes.
Press Ctrl-Alt-Del key and choose Task Manager. In the "Processes" Tab, select the file APSDaemon.exe and click End Prosses button, then close the task manager window.
Now open itunes and see if it is working?
If that works, to prevent having to do the same process everytime you restart Windows, go to. START button, type in
MSCONFIG
Hit ENTER
Click STARTUP Tab, Uncheck "Apple Push", click OK.
Restart Windows.
3. If that fails or you don't see ApsDaemon.exe in the Processes, refer to following article to remove SC files:

4. If that fails, repair or reinstall your Quicktime. START / CONTROL PANEL / PROGRAMS N FEATURES / hightlight QUICKTIME and click REPAIR.
