Lightroom 4.3 says "up to date" but isn't installed

I uninstalled Lightroom 4.3 (Creative Cloud) this morning, then attempted to reinstall it using Application Manager.  When I opened Application Manager, it showed Lightroom 4.3 as "up to date," even though the files aren't on my computer.  How can I fix this?
I'm on Mac OSX 10.8.2.

Please verify that Photoshop Lightroom is not listed in your Applications folder.  If you can confirm this then please reinstall the Adobe Application Manager from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=4774.

  • Flash Professional CS6 says it's 'up to date' but isn't installed

I just purchased Adobe Creative Cloud. The CS6 Adobe Application Manager tells me that Flash Professional CS6 is 'up to date'. However, I rencently uninstalled the trial version because I assumed I would need to reinstall anyways. How do I reset the Adobe Application Manager to allow me to download Flash Professional CS6.

Excellent Dan.  To avoid future difficulties I would recommend utilizing the uninstaller in the future if you need to remove your Adobe Creative software.

    Hi dmomoney24  ,
Kindly refer : CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed.
Please revert if the problem persists.

  • Cloud manager says "up to date" but it's not

I just signed up for the cloud and intalled already InDesign. Now I wanted to install Photoshop but the App Manager says "Up to date" -BUT IT'S NOT!
I just have CS5 and it wasn't a problem with the inDesign app... So what can I do?

    Ok.
In case of Mac please go to Utilities--> Adobe Installers--> search for Photoshop uninstaller and run it.
This should fix the situation for you.
If this do not resolve the issue then you need to consider doing a system cleaner using Cs Cleaner tool from http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html
    Thanks

It's not just iTunes you need to update...
You need to upgrade to Leopard v10.5.8 at the very least in order to sync, restore, and backup an iPod touch.
See iPod touch system requirements here.
Leopard is available from Amazon here.

Yes. You can set the payment method to "None" once you log into iTunes on your PC/Mac. I have it set up this way.

  • My iphoto says it's open, but isn't. All updates are installed. Help????

My iphotos says it's open, but isn't. All of my software updates are installed. Help!!!! Thanks

Try trash the com.apple.iPhoto.plist file from the HD/Users/ Your Name / library / preferences folder.
(On 10.7: Hold the option (or alt) key while clicking on the Go menu in Finder to access the User Library)
(Remember you'll need to reset your User options afterwards. These include minor settings like the window colour and so on. Note: If you've moved your library you'll need to point iPhoto at it again.)
    What's the plist file?
For new users: Every application on your Mac has an accompanying plist file. It records certain User choices. For instance, in your favourite Word Processor it remembers your choice of Default Font, on your Web Browser is remembers things like your choice of Home Page. It even recalls what windows you had open last if your app allows you to pick up from where you left off last. The iPhoto plist file remembers things like the location of the Library, your choice of background colour, whether you are running a Referenced or Managed Library, what preferences you have for autosplitting events and so on. Trashing the plist file forces the app to generate a new one on the next launch, and this restores things to the Factory Defaults. Hence, if you've changed any of these things you'll need to reset them. If you haven't, then no bother. Trashing the plist file is Mac troubleshooting 101.

  • Application Manager says "Up to date" but running 12.0

I installed the 12.2 update on my computer at work just fine.
But when I got home I tried to install it there as well. Ran the Application Manager and it downloaded the update and procedded to install it. I ran DW when it finished, but the update is not there. Now the Application Manager says my DW install is up to date, but when going to About DW it reads 12.0, not 12.2 and I do not have the Edge Web Fonts integration at home.
So my question is how do I run the update again? I have checked the Hosts file, Certificate, and Firewall. Nothing is blocked. All my other updates ran fine, but DW will not apply this 12.2 update for some reason.
I am running Windows 7 6-bit4 Pro with 32GB RAM and more HDD space than is necessary for an average home users PC (4TB).
    Thanks,
    Joe.

12.2 is Cloud only. The Creative Suite version is 12.0.3.
Which version are you running at home?

  • Macair says up to date but not on 10.6.6

on my old macair, when I go to software update it says it is up to date but it still has 10.5.8. how do i get it to load 10.6.6?

You have to purchase Snow Leopard (10.6) and then update it to 10.6.6. It's $29

  • One computer updated the other says up to date but they are the old version and reloading doesn't work.

I updated to the latest version on my desktop, then my credit card was hack so it was replaced and I had to reset my credit card info. When I tried to update my laptop the CC App said all were up to date - but trying to load a file from the updated Premiere app from my desktop onto my laptop fails with a "Newer version" error message. I unloaded and reloaded premiere but that did not work.

Alw51 what specific Newer Version error message are you referring too?  Also which operating system are you using?  Finally what version of Premiere Pro are you downloading and installing?

  • "Up to Date" but no program installed

I had a subscription membership for Illustrator earlier in the year.  I removed the application as I no longer needed it.  Have now joined up again, and now I am unable to have the program downloaded.  App Manager says it is up to date, but I have no Adobe CC files on my computer.  Any ideas of how to get the application downloaded?  Clicking on Download does no good.  Thanks for the help in advance!

Run teh Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool, try again.

  • ITunes says it can't read my data, but restoring will install iOS4

    Hi,
I've only recently purchased my 8gb iPod Touch, and am on my second one at the moment. I had to take the first one back in less than a day after I purchased it because iOS4 completely crashed it. Nothing could fix it.
Anyway, just recently the new iPod hasn't been connecting to iTunes properly. iTunes can find it but it says it can't read the data and it needs to restore it to the factory settings. I wouldn't have a problem with this normally, however when I go to restore, iTunes says that restoring will also install the iOS4 software, which ruined my last iPod Touch.
I really don't know what to do. Sooner or later I'm going to need to put more things on and take things off...I'm too scared to try and install iOS4 again and I've been told Apple won't help you if your iPod dies as a result of iOS4..
Does anyone know how I can fix this without installing iOS4?
    Much appreciated..

mine is doing the same thing other than Itunes saying it can't read the format. I can't play 90% of my music. I took it to an apple store the other day an they told me only purchased music will work. Not even a music upload from a CD. Which to me is a load of ....because my wife has all the songs on her iphone that are greyed out on mine and they work on hers

  • My plugin for Adobe flash player on Fox states out of date -but Ive just installed latest 1 on my IE browser. Why doesnt Fox accept this & not keep asking me to update it?

Firefox can't accept that my laptop has now installed the latest version of Adobe Flash Player - the plug-in states it is out-of-date & numbers the old one. Ive tried all ways to rectify this but nothing works... Fox still states that I have to update it...

Thank you for your interest. I'd been into the getadobe.com address & downloaded it successfully on IE. The problem had been that it hadnt altered the update on Firefox plug-in. I typed-in your link from Firefox, then it came-up on IE. So I went through the motions to download again & the tab stated it was going to be to IE. So I came out - opened-up Firefox again & got onto getadobe.com again, but on Firefox - downloaded it & it worked.... The plug-in check confirmed it'd updated to latest version.
So thank you, TonyE, if you hadnt responded, I wouldnt have realised that I'd to download whilst on the Firefox browser.
