Lightroom 4.4 is crashing when click the import button (not reponsive)

I have read through all sorts of answers to this problem that others have had, and so far I have not found an answer that has worked for me. Hoping someone can help.
I try to import, but after I click the button, it just starts spinning to not responsive. I had considered uninstalling and reinstalling but from what i hear that doesn't fix the problem either.
I'm running Windows 7.

UPDATE: Usually I have my SD card already in my slot before I click on import. I opened LR without my SD card in my computer and it worked. But WHY can't I have the card in before I click on import like I always have????

IPhoto 6.0.5 crashes when clicking the Edit button

On some of my albums....not all of them.... When clicking the Edit button or double clicking one of the photos in that album, to make it bigger so you can use the arrows to move throught the pictures, iPhoto crashes.
It does this every time with certain albums. They are all jpeg, and the ones that are crashing worked fine before this last upgrade of iPhoto. Is there a known problem with this? I have looked around and seems as though people have had some problems similar to this but not exaclty the same.
Is there something that can be done that I don't know about to remedy this?
Any and all help/suggestions would be much appreciated.

It may be a color profile issue. Download the Automator workflow "Embed sRGB Profile" file from Toad's Cellar and unzip it. Then export one of the problem files to the desktop and drop on the workflow application. Then import the file and see if it will edit OK. If so you can find the files in the Originals folder that are giving you problems and drag them onto the workflow application file. BUT, just in case make a temp backup copy of the iPHoto Library folder beforehand.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.

LR 3.2 shutting down when clicking the Import button

When I click on the import button in LR 3.2 it shuts down the program and sends me back to my desktop....any ideas???...Thanks

You can manually download and install the update to LR 3.6 from http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates Change the dropdown list at the top to Lightroom – Windows and click Go.
Since LR just shuts down, perhaps your catalog or preferences file are corrupted.
Try pressing and holding the Alt key while starting up LR, and see if you get as far as it asking what catalog to use. If you do, try creating a new catalog and seeing if it’ll open that ok.
If not, then try deleting your preferences file using the following page as a guide to its location - the misspelling in the URL is that way on Adobe’s site:

TS2972 why is the import button not showing at the button right hand corner of iTunes?

why is the import button not showing at the bottom right hand corner of my ITunes page. I am trying to transfer files from my home share library onto a new computers library.

See if it isn't hidden under the View menu. iTunes- Turning on iTunes menus in Windows 8 and 7.

Background sound play goes stop when click the power button on ios.

On AIR 3.9 the background task execution issue has been solved but when we click the power button on ios devices the background sound play goes stop until we unlock the device.
So Dear Adobe Please fix this issue .

OWA rewriting problem when clicking the logout button

When accessing OWA 2003 through the portal (having the necessary rewriting rules), someone clicks the logout button, he ends up on a straight OWA URL. I mean that the page the user sees does not come throught the portal. It looks like: http://OWAURL/exchweb/bin/auth/owalogon.asp?url=http://OWAURL/exchange/&reason=0 instead of http://PORTALURL/OWAURL/exchweb/bin/auth/owalogon.asp?url=http://PORTALURL/OWAURL/exchange/&reason=1
Did someone see this before?

Okay,
I 'fixed' this issue using the latest ruleset for owa 2003 (the one from patch 116856). But after logging out from owa through the portal, it seems that I am also logged out of the portal itself.
Is this a known issue? Does someone know how this can be solved?

Outlook 2007 hangs when clicking the To button in a new email

Hello,
I have a person whose Outlook 2007 hangs whenever they create a new email and click the To button to bring up the GAL. By hangs, I mean it becomes unresponsive and you have to End Task the new email, which causes Outlook itself to crash. I've tried the following:
Repairing Office
Uninstalling/Reinstalling Office
Creating a new profile
The only thing that fixes it is running Outlook.exe /safe, but that's not an acceptable long term solution. I have tried disabling all add-ons and running Outlook normally, but it still hangs.
If anyone has any ideas or can help in any way, I would really appreciate it.

Step 1: Disable the addins in Outlook 2007:
On the Tools menu, click Trust Center, and then click Add-ins.
In the Add-ins box, identify the add-in that you want to enable or disable and note the Add-in type located in the Type column.
Select the Add-in type in the Manage box and then click Go.
Select or clear the check box for the Add-in that you want enable or disable and then click OK.
Step 2: If you have bigger PST/OST files then it may take a while to load - during the time, it may become unresponsive. Just for testing, remove the PST file and reopen the
Step 3: Also you can try opening the Outlook in Online mode (if you currently use Outlook in Cached mode)

Step 5: You can control the running add-ins - which needs to run: By default, Outlook allows any installed add-in to run. On the Tools menu, click Trust Center.
In the left pane, click Macro Security.
Click Warnings for signed macros; all unsigned macros are disabled.
In the left pane, click Add-ins.
Select the Apply macro security settings to installed add-ins check box.
You can try the above steps and let me know whether this resolves the issue or not?

When clicking the "option"-button on song now playing make it act as in the playlist

When I'm playing a song from a playlist of mine and click the option-button (the "..."/three dots) I can't for example remove the song from the playlist because the option is not there. Please change it so that the same options appear as if I were to open the options directly from the playlist window if the current song is playing from a playlist.

Ipod resets when clicking the white button on click wheel

I have a problem, everytime i go to MENU in order to select artist or album and i click the white button on the click wheel my ipod resets. It wont let me chose anything it only lets me shuffle see my pics and podcast but it wont let me get to the menu it will restore itself by showing me the apple logo and restarting on its own, without me even accesing it.

I would like to know how I can get the value you had fields before clicking the new button and place it back on the field. The idea is that the field is not empty , but have the previous value.

Home sharing wont let me click the import button when I try to import songs from one computer to another.

I can see the import button but it wont let me click on it.

The above article did not help me, I was having the same issue. The import button was "greyed out". But this article did help...mostly:

I successfully moved my music from my old computer running Windows XP to a laptop running Windows 7. I could never get the import button to be "active" but I randomly tried selecting all the music I could view from my old computer on the new computer using Home Sharing and dragging it to Library on the new computer. It immediately starting copying the files, and then, and only then, the Import button became "active" i.e. not greyed out. But I did not need to click on it at that point because the files were being copied to the Library of the new computer.
I then followed the article I mention above to get my playlists transferred as well. All is good after a very frustrating morning of research. There are many posts on forums about the "greyed out" issue; none of the answers I could find worked for me. This did. 3,000 songs and all in their proper playlists!

AE CC CS6 Crashes When clicking the Mac Menu

Adobe After Effects Creative Cloud crashes when I click any menue on the Apple menue bar. The program boots just fine, and is functional inside of its selft but when you click any where on the menue bar AE quites unexpectedly.
I am running a Med 2012 Retina MacBook Pro 2.3GHz i7, running OX X verion 10.8.4. I ran FontExpoler X Pro to try and uninstall any bad fonts but that didn't help. I also reinstalled AE.
The same issue is hapining with Illastrator but that programs crashes on the splash screen.

This applies particularly to CNN, when clicking onto a story at the home page, then clicking back to the home page. A black bar appears at the top of the screen, on the left side the message above and on the right side an "Allow" button and a X for closing that window. Clicking on the "Allow" results in the same notice being displayed.
