Lightroom 4-trial expired the day I installed

I downloaded a trial of lightroom 4 today on my mac running V 10.6.8. I installed and it told me to either login or create an adobe account, I created an account and started running lightroom.
I uploaded a couple hundred pictures from an SD card and noticed that nothing was showing up on my film strip, and therefore I couldn't use the develop area (although I did get there once, but I can't remember how). I googled a bit and someone said they had a similar problem and restarting lightroom did the trick. So I shut down lightroom, restarted it, and it brought me back to the original 'liscense or try' window but told me my trial had 0 days left and if I wanted to keep using it I had to enter a serial number.
I've spent about 2 hours calling adobe, being transfered, having my calls dropped, and now customer service is closed. So I thought you guys might be able to help me?
Also, I moved lightroom to the trash, emptied it, and reinstalled but I'm still getting the same '0 days left' message.

Yes. En doesn't function as a trial version due to MPEG licensing issues.

Adobe people sometimes visit the forum, but this isn't a route to tech support. That said, tech support isn't available for the free trial so far as I know... I've never seen any Adobe response indicating anything different than I said, but it's possible there have been private replies.

Free trial expired same day as installed?

I am a bit frustrated as I installed a free 30 day trial today and when I went to use it, was told my 30 day trial has expired. Is this a bait and switch?

If the trial version indicates as being expired then it has expired. There is no way to extend the trial.

I have an active subscription but everytime I open the program it says trial expired. I have installed, reinstalled, and installed again. I have also installed the windows registry patch.

It wouldn't install for nearly 5 times I tried to do this. Now it's finally installed again but it won't budge past the trial version. I click BUY NOW but then it says "error you already have a subscription" then it times out and just stays on the Trial Expired page.

Please log out from your Adobe application and login again.
Once you launch Acrobat and get error saying trial expired, you will find an option saying 'license this software'.
Select this option and enter your credentials.
Now check and let me know.

Lightroom mobile trial expired issue

I have CC Master and in my installation of Lightroom, it only tells "Lightroom Mobile Trial Expired". Same in iPad. "Your trial period has ended"
I installed it way back almost right away, when it was announced. I also posted a note on a forum about this, and the guy said this would be fixed well before trial was over.
I mean: come on! Someone already said that this is a thing Adobe is working on and that it should be resolved well before trial period is over. Well it is not!
Could you please fix this. I am fed up with all the crap I have been having with CC subscription. Not the first time I have had issues with it. Once I spent two hours with chat tech support trying to fix something that should have been just working.
Crappy, crappy, crappy work, Adobe. I am losing my faith here, and I am not alone.

That is not true Keith. If it is like you say I could not have the trial version and I had it during a month without any problem!

Margaret, Mobile is only available to CC subscribers because it needs the cloud as the mechanism for syncing between Lightroom and Lightroom Mobile.
Maybe they could say it more explicitly, but the necessity of CC membership is pretty clearly implied (several times) by this page:

Lightroom Mobile Trial Expired error

"Lightroom Mobile Trial Expired" error message. I have current CC LR/PS bundle. I've tried the standard things, nothing works so far.
I couldn't find a way to add to other threads, so I am starting a new discussion.

Mine hasn't expired yet, but I don't want it and would like to know how to remove it too!

Lightroom 3 Trial is the same in quality as Final Version?

I have here the option to buy Lightroom 3 as my first choice in application for Adobe Software in environment desktop for 32 Bits acknowledge. I'm seeing here posterior versions have it 32 Bits as secondary standard option in 64 Bits version. I'm enthusiasmed about that in characteristic, cause I will not gonna loose the interactivity I have within dot point pixelization in 32 Bits for a posterior version. But I'm not really alarmed about that for newer versions, thinking about that as I still having it in the new features and the environment it presents for Lightroom 3 in flowing support for 32 Bits. But Something (not only talking about the processing in quality for 64 Bits) still regards for the trial I'm testing in 32 Bits for Lightroom 3 as Trial Application. It works as it responds gracious like it has made in functioning for the response 32 Bits have.
But the point of this thread is the question I have about the quality it assists as 32 Bits Floating Point for the definition in the trial Version. - I have experienced something like Photoshop 6 and something about the same thang about functionality or the half about main features; Photoshop CS2, which is a tremendous experience in image edition and about both is my first choice in quality and response for image Software. - I had liked a lot, and in both version I had nothing to complain about the dot point pixelized and processing manufactured as program. But the environment show's it as it duet for be showed as something knowledgeable as main understanding for response in magnificence and originality of masterization.
Ok, it's hard to understand pictures as masterizing, but knowing that about manufacturing we gonna see there in time that magnification always posterize after effects. Well done, but knowing that about Adobe Lightroom, Lightroom 3 in Trial Version is giving nice environment and fast applicable response to my well liked Windows 32 Bits, but it's not having the quality I'm specting for in-vision as final art, I'm wanting that post to know if it's not responding as Final Art because it's Trial version, or it's about the third version, which do not have the complexion for the mean Final 3rd version i have as option to buy.
I know that will programming, and may in support, and public opinion will encourage-me to find that about 64 Bits Version more defined and responsible. May posterior versions which includes 32 Bits, will have the response I need about too. but just like the up-desk to 64 Bits, may it are less for the functioning in 32 Bits, which I already have as perfection for my Nikon in Raw file able. Instead I am wrong about that opinion in posterior versions for Adobe Lightroom 32 Bits.
Whatever, I have to choose and do it for, but I'm from the time which computer stereolize more the enthusiastic points about the knowledge we can have for the application, than the usability we can have for about the update. It's something significable too... But it's not the stereotype for man kind, as the place I have for it. Unless it dislike and hovering override the situation.

If it's quite new, Lightroom 3 will not support it. You would instead have to use the Adobe DNG converter to convert the camera's files to DNG format, which Lightroom 3 will be able to use.
But if it's a very new camera, the latest versions of the DNG converter (from version 8.4) are 64 bit too, I believe (and are definitely only Windows 7/Windows 8 compatible) - you'd have to use 8.3 for 32 bit (and Win XP, if you're using that OS) support, and that version might not recognise your camera.
This Nikon seems to be supported; I'm trying to have it as secret by now about the model...:-) But it's there in Lightroom 3 Trial with some exceptions. I will try that about the DNG converter. My Camera is upon the desktop.

Measurement studio expired first day I install

Hi,
I download Measurement Studio 2009 for Visual Studio Evaluation yesterday. I installed it with Labview 2009 and DAQmx 9.2.1. My OS is XP sp3. I have a DAQ card DAQ-6024E. And I tried to output a analog signal using the card. So, I found out there is an example from NI after installation named "GenVoltageUpdate" in the folder \NI-DAQ\Examples\MStudioVC2008\Analog Out\Generate Voltage\. I used VS 2008 to try to run this program in debug mode. There was a box popped up "The Measurement studio evaluation has expired". I checked the Measurement Studio>> License, and it shown as the figure attached. None of them has expired yet.
I don't know why there is such message about expiration. I hope someone can help me.

Hi, I installed today (02-12-2011) the evaluation version of Measurement studio 2010 for Visual Studio 2008.
Checking the licence page from the Measuremt studio menu I get thet all the components I installed should expire on 13/03/2011.
The problem is that if I try to execute any sample code provided I get the following error:

I tried using the Measurement studio active-X License fixer. In the Licensed controls list there is "3D Graph control 8.0" but in the Elvaluation Licenses list and the Broken Licenses list the is no controls at all.
Is there something else I can do?

Exception the day after installing

I have a web application, and immediately after installing the oracle beta connector (ODAC112011beta) the web application and the related test project both works. The next day when I come in, I navigate to the web site and get an error: "The provider is not compatible with the version of Oracle client" . This happens without me making any changes, either to the project or to my system (at least that I'm aware of).
If I uninstall and then reinstall, the application starts working again.

Re not moving to production release: I'm part of a programming team, not a single developer. The rest of the team is still using the beta dlls, and due to the current demo schedule it was decided to not change any dlls at this time for the project as a whole; it is not an option for me to develop against a different DLL than the rest of the team except for the extremely short term.
That being said: I did install the production ODAC, and switch everything in the project over to use it; I have the same behavior this morning on my machine, but the development server installation and all of the other developers on the project are not having a problem.
I don't see any oracle related dlls in procexp under w3wp on my machine this morning, but there are quite a few on the server. I have no idea why these aren't being loaded.
EDIT: lets try writing that again: I compared two snapshots of the dlls that were loaded by w3wp.exe, one where it wasn't working and one where it was; these are DLLs weren't loaded when it wasn't working:

Also: There were no DLLs that were loaded when it was broken that weren't also loaded when it wasn't broken.

Lightroom Free Trial Expired...But

I tried the free trial of Lightroom and liked it so much I purchased it via The Cloud. Whenever I try to launch Lightroom, I get the prompt asking for the license information. I have a new iMac with OS10. I'm not sure what to do in order to get rid of the old free trial and have the newly purchased Cloud version run. Please help. Many thanks.

Uninstall the trial. You should be able to send it directly to your trash bin from the Applications folder.
Then, reinstall LR via the Adobe Creative Cloud management app.

Freehand trial expired on day 1

hi, i downloaded freehand 30day trial this morning. i didn't
use it staight away but the download and installation had fully
finished. i went to try and use it this evening and it says my free

Lightroom free trial, after the trial is over.

I am in the free trial mode, wondering what will happen to the pics I used with lightroom and saved in my pc, after the free trial is over.

The images will be were you put them. If you export them they will include any edits that you applied in Lightroom. Even the catalog will be available for reuse when you purchase Lightroom.

CFB3 New install gives trial expired notice

Win 7-64bit, CF 11.
Tried installing a new download of CFB3 ( 8/21/2014 download ) and came up with a "Standard edition trial expired" problem. I participated in the CFB3 alpha and beta, but never tried the released version. Is there a way to completely clean out CFB3 so I can try the released CFB3?

In that case, you would not be able to use it, as the licensing started from the day you installed the alpha/beta.
