Lightroom 5.2 on 32bit pc and 64bit laptop (both win7 home premium)

Hello,
I am using the trial version of lightroom 5.2 and think about buying it.
My question is: When I buy it with the installation cd, can I install it on both machines, and if so, are there things I especially have to look at when installing it?
Another question is whether I can run 5.2 under the 64bit modus on my 32bit computer (as it was possible in version 2, 3 and 4)?

Documentation if 32bit client and 64bit client can coexist on 64bit system

Dear all,
I have read that I am not the first guy how try to install a 32bit client and a 64bit client (multiple homes) on 64bit system, but I still couldn't find something about this issue in the official Oracle Documentation.
Can anybody please give me a hint or a link where I can find something written in the official Oracle Documentation if a 32bit client and a 64Bit client can coexist on 64Bit system ...

Could not find anything in official documentation (may be my search is not comprehensive enough).
However, you can just get in touch with Oracle support (I don't know if you need to raise SR for this) and ask them if it will work. To my knowledge, it would work under 32 bit emulation mode but results cannot be guaranteed.

Office 2010 32bit-version on 64bit-laptop?

I bought Office 2010 32 bit-version to download at surfspot.nl. That's legal software for cheaper price, specially for students. It was said that the this version would work at a 64bit-laptop.
But when I try to install this version, my laptop keeps saying that it does not support the 32bit-version.
Can anyone help me solve this problem and download this version on my laptop?

The 32-bit version of Microsoft Office 2010 runs under both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Microsoft Windows 7.
It could be that your computer is missing a software package that is needed to install Microsoft Office 2010. Try running Microsoft Update and download all the available updates, hotfixes and patches, including "optional" ones. Then try installing Office 2010 again.

Oracle 64bit for Windows 7 home premium 64 bit- ERROR in installtion

I have windows 7 home premium 64 bit on my laptop. I downloaded frm oracle site
win64_11gR1_database_1013.zip for my windows.
but as i start the setup..on prerequisite check..it found twio error:

I got this OS Win& home premium 64bit with my laptop installed, i purchased it, it is not possible for me to purchase a new OS again.
Is oracle dont have a solution for it...as i got the error.
It was saying this Oracle version i downloaded work for version of Windows vista 5.0,5.1,5.2,6.0 and mine is 6.1.
Can oracle provide something that will for my lappy's OS..
I read many forums who upgrade from vista to windows 7 ,there oracle working fine on their laptops....
i just need a solution with existing configuration of my laptop,rather than change my OS.

IS CS3 Production Premium incompatible with Win7 Home Premium 64bit?

I installed CS3 on my new machine with Windows7 Home Premium 64bit on it and it appeared to install correctly.
So when I click the photoshop.exe file it opens a window and freezes.... (not responding) I have sat for an extended amount of time and nothing ever happens beyond that.
If I use after effects or illustrator or flash... nothing happens at all... no windows... however If I open up my task manager, I can see the processes running for those programs... just no applications...
I have run as admin and in WinXP SP2 mode.
Disabled DEP and UAC.
Updated everything in the book.
I dont' get it...
So I am starting to wonder if it just isn't compatible with Win7.
Can anyone shed any light on the subject or direct me to anything that could help out?

Can you clarify on CS4 running in Windows 7? My employeer is upgrading to 64-Bit Windows 7 Ultimate (new laptop w/8 GB ram). I can re-install with XP if I really want to.
For Win7 Ultimate, do I just run the 32-bit PS CS4 app for best results or is there something special I need to do?

Now Dec9 has some further notes above which should work fine. Personally, I will change everything when CS5 arrives. Hardware, OS and programs. Since I am still running CS3 (which should also run on Win7 at 32 bits) I am in no hurry to upset a rather well oiled editing system. Yesterday, I did upgrades to my hardware, adding an additional 1TB drive. I needed extra sata connections so I added a PCI sata card, blew out the dust bunnies, installed the HD and the damn thing wouldn't even post!
It runs now.

Nvidia GeoForce Go 7600 graphics driver and IQ770 with Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit edition

I have been having problems with my screen for several months now: every so often, for no apparent reason, it loses some of the pixels. I can still read the items on the screen, but the resolution is trashed. It happens intermittently and then goes back to normal. I have tried uninstalling the graphics driver and letting the computer go find it on a reboot. This does not work. I have also tried installing the original graphics driver. This does not work either.
If I look in the "Problem Reports" area in Control Panel, there is a graphics related error:
Error Message: STOP 0x000000EA THREAD_STUCK_IN_DEVICE_DRIVER (Q293078) The resolution listed is to reinstall the device driver (which I've tried dozens of times without success) or to change the computer's performance settings, which also does nothing. I still get the occasional loss of screen clarity which returns to normal all by itself.
Is anyone else seeing this problem? Does anyone have a resolution?
I have tried the latest graphics driver available on the hp website, from 8-2008 as well as the originally installed version from January 2007. The version of Windows is Vista Home Premium 32 bit edition, Service Pack 1.
If I completely uninstall the graphics driver, and do not reload any, the screen performance is fine, but then there are other problems, such as graphics acceleration.

And only use the driver from the system manufacturer's website or Windows Update. Do not use the latest drivers from NVIDIA's website for the IQ700 series

FYI the windows 7 pro disk and key don't match and pro expires in a few days.

Adrian, so glad to see your post. I have the exact same problem you do. I have two macs running the latest Lion and iTunes and when looking at the Home Sharing libraries there is no import button and there is also no pop-up menu allowing you to see only the files not already in your library. This must be something that was broken in just this last update because I have used those features just a couple of weeks ago.

iOS has no file system directly accessible to users and cannot really be used as a 'bridge' to control or operate your machine's operating system (whether OSX or Windows).
When you say, "enter home booking system," there are plenty of iOS applications which would be suitable for creating home inventory system and spreadsheets. Applications such as dropbox can be used to transfer files between the device and your machine.
Additionally, barcode scanning apps exist where you can, for example, bulk scan ISBN's, transfer the csv file, and subsequently input them into a spreadsheet on your machine.

I can't believe how unprofessional and misinformed your response is. The solution is not to reinstall but for Oracle to figure out why it is not working.
