Lightroom 5.3 Hanging on Video Exports
I've been able to succesffuly export videos in the past, but for some reason the progress bar is just hanging now on recent attempts to export video. At time it starts, then stops mid-way. After I cancel that task, and try to start it again, it just hangs with zero progress. The files are not huge, mostly under 100MB.
Sometimes, I get an eror message of "An unknown error occurred. (1)"
What I've tried:
Restarting my machine several times
Deleted the preferences file and started fresh
Changed the export destination folder to my desktop, but got the same issue.
Tested exporting still images, which worked fine
Tested exporting using the video setting to export an unedited/uncompressed version of the file, which worked fine.
Changing the encoding setting from H.264 Medium to H.264 Max, but got the same issue.
Testing using both .MOV and .MP4 source files.
Manually reinstalled Lightroom app. This helped process a couple files, but then went back to hanging.
Any suggestions? Could the video encoder be corrupted somehow? Is there a way to reset it?

When rendering a video I never get past the Initializing Video Export Progress bar.
Running windows 8 64bit, Photoshop CC.
I have Windows CS4, Lightroom 4, LIghtroom 5 and Premier Elements installed. I have no problem exporting video from lightroom or Premier ElementsI am trying to process a move clip of various types. Hello,
Whenever I atempt to render video or export a photoshop file as a video I get the following error:

Continue Button.
Hitting continue does nothing and the application just hangs on the video export progress bar.
I've attempted to export several types of PSD files to video, some old, some new (made in CS6) and I always get this error. I have reset Photoshops preferences. I have uninstalled the entire CS6 suite and reinstalled it.
On a whim I decided to reinstall PS CS5 and try to export from there. Worked like a charm. Was able to export video from my PSDs like before.

AppleTV Media Network Hangs on Video
Network Setup:
MacBook Pro - Serving the iTunes library out to devices - WIRED CONNECTION
DROBO FS - 4tb used - Contains the iTunes Library - audio and HD video both - WIRED CONNECTION
Airport Extreme - Base station serving the wireless network out to the house
Airport Express (4 units) - Extending the wireless network throughout the house - signal quality remains consistantly maximum throughout the house (tested using iOS devises, Android devices, and WindowsMobile devices) - AirPort utility shows that all AirportExpress units are connecting directly to the AirportExtreme base.
iPad 2 (4 units) - Using the Remote App
AppleTV2 (6 Units) - Connected to Tv's throughout the house - WIRELESS CONNECTION
Home Sharing is enabled.
All devices current on patching and updates (as of last week)
Problem:
AppleTV's are not consistantly able to pull video content from the shared library.
iPad with remote is able to see the shared library and queue up video, but some ATV devices will not play the queued video, endless "wheel" showing that it is trying to serve the media up. Audio files correctly queue and play. Streaming services will correctly play (Netflix, Youtube, Trailers from Apple, etc.)
iPads are able to play shared video and audio content with no issue via AirPlay - also tested this standing next to ATV units to verify that no wireless dead-zones were interfering.
Macbook is able to play all media without issue.
The only devices on the wireless network are those listed above. Network is secured, no additional devices causing interference, No additional devices are showing as connected in AirPort utility. Only trying to serve media to one ATV unit at a time.Hi,

I know there are other posts with similar questions. And I already checked and read http://lightroom-news.com/2009/10/28/direct-timelapse-video-export-from-lightroom/ but since this discussion there came to an end in summer 2010 I'll start a try here once again.
I already downloaded some presets and templates for video export inside the slideshow module. Unfortunately the best what I could get was 1080p @ 25fps with a bitrate of 12Mbit (--> http://lrtimelapse.com/download/). I tried to modify resolution, bitrate, codec and output format, but it doesn't work.
I checked the values for the different levels on wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/H.264/MPEG-4_AVC#Levels). For higher resolution I used a higher level, but it won't work.
Since LR is stating errors I changed the levels for higher bitrates as well although it wouldn't be necessary relating to the H264 standards.
And if I changed the H264 profile to HIGH or HI10, there's always an error message. In most cases with the HRD module. I read on the net that HRD in H264 codec checks the buffer.
Usually it shouldn't be a problem to use level 5.1 with 4096x2304 @ 25fps and 200Mbit/s. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. Maybe somebody can tell me how LR interprets the template sheet. What line does or means what, etc. ... maybe I'm missing out something.
And last but not least, any chances to change the codec? And if not the codec then at least the file format? I would love to see .mov rather than .mp4.
Thank You!What you want to do ius experiment with settings to get your video to be as close to 100MB as possible every time.
If your content is talking heads telling jokes with little movement try this as a starting point.
Use Quicktime conversion - Options - Video Settings - Quality - High - Size 320 x 240 - Frames per second - 15 - Key Frame - Every 5 secs - Sound settings - Compressor - IMA 4:1 - Rate 44.1khz - 8 bit - mono - Uncheck the Prepare for Internet Streaming.
This is a wild guess and you'll probably have to change some of the variables to achieve your target 100MB.
In Video -Settings - Compress Settings - you could try Sorensen 3 or MPEG-4 and here's a couple of links that you might find helpful.

I use Premiere Pro CC to edit videos, and videos render fine when I export through Premiere Pro, but when I try to use Media Encoder CC, the video exports with weird splotches of green/purple artifacts all throughout. It almost looks like the video is glitching and having a seizure of green and purple. No idea why this happens. Could anybody help me? I use Media Encoder to export bulks of videos at a time through its queue feature, which is why I prefer to use Media Encoder for video exporting.

I was hoping that you and others might have some insight as to whether the purple and green artifacts / splotches seen in the attached screenshots (taken from 4 consecutive frames here but occurring through the entirety of the clip) could possibly have resulted from exporting video with ~ Premiere Pro CS5 or 6 ? As seen below, these splotches alternate back and forth between purple and green in every consecutive frame. I was also hoping that someone might know if this is a relatively common type of artifact and how it is caused. -

First Video Export to DVD Question
Hi - I have my first ever video export from Premiere to a DVD and I'm a little nervous about it. My footage will be shot with the Panasonic ACHD (I think that's the model as I don't have the camera with me here) and the camera is set for 1280 x 720 at 24 FPS.
I was looking through the export settings in Premiere CS4 and found the MPEG-DVD and MPEG Blue Ray settings. When I select MPEG-DVD, I notice that two vertical bars are in each end of the output; when I select MPEG Blue Ray, there's a setting in there that makes those bars go away and the picture fits the dimensions perfectly, so it looks like I can use those settings.
My question is - after I export this file, how do I actually get it on the DVD disk? Should I export it like above and then use Adobe Encore to burn the disk? Or is there some other method?
Any help is appreciated. Thanks.Your original file is HiDef, a DVD is Standard Def at 720x480 so you will see a difference from original to DVD

Video exports about half and then turns white
Hey,
Trying to figure out what is up with my export. Using h264 (HMC150) and mp4 (EX3) trying to export a 1080 file that is about 13 minutes long. The video exports but about halfway through it turns to white, the audio continues playing.
I exported the same edit yesterday and everything worked great, the client had some simple changes which I made and now it will not export properly.
Win7, 12 Gig Ram, nVidia 470

[Terminology changed to reflect the action.]WMP, QT And PPCC... it's definitely there. Unfortunately, I missed a deadline (First time ever!) because of it and they will be showing the previous version at the event.
I just re-edited the (version 1) sequence and am re-rendering the video, hoping that the (version 2) sequence got corrupted and a new one (version 3) will clear it up so that at least the DVDs will be correct.

Final Cut video exporting stuck in 5% and I don't know what to do .
Cancel the export.
Go to Preferences and turn off Background Rendering.
Select your project in the library and in the File menu, click on Delete project RENDER Files; choose All when prompted. Select your event and do the same with the event RENDER files. In the project use the range tool to select a short section. Try to export that as a test. Don't render before you export.
If that doesn't work, copy the project and paste it into a fresh project. Try another export test.

Here is my problem. I have 2 Macs, a desktop and a laptop. The laptop
running Tiger (operating system) and Adobe CS3 which is fine for
conversion through Quicktime to .flv but on my desktop which is
running Leopard (OS) and Adobe CS4 I cannot do this type of conversion
without going into Adobe flash encoder which requires 1 more step.
I looked up Flash video exporter on the Adobe site (see link below)
and this component is only available for CS3. I want to know if it is
available for CS4 and for Mac.

Lightroom 2.1 still crashing on Export in develop and web modules
I am running Lightroom 2.1 on a Windows XP Pro PC with 4GB of Ram, an NVidia graphics card and having found Lightroom 2 an absolute disaster when exporting files with it crashing even when exporting one file, LR2.1 is only slightly better.
I can export around 10 -15 at a time files in the develop module and export slidehows in the web module with up to 30 images or so. Any more and the computer crashes.
Adobe really MUST do something about this as amongst other things I do events and weddings and need to create slideshows for my clients of 100-200 images.
In the meantime any tips!??

From your description you could have a computer with a hardware problem. Exporting is computationally intensive and taxes the hardware. I can export hundreds of pictures with no problem...
Get a tool like hwmonitor from cpuid.com and monitor your temperatures. And post more detailled symptoms. -
Cannot render video - stuck during "Initializing video export..."

I am trying to render videos in PS CC 2014.
Running win7x64 with 16GB ram.
These videos were already rendered in previous version - PS CC with no problems!
When I try to render in PS CC 2014 I get stuck during the first stage, right after i select "rebder Video...".
I am stuch in the next stage when ik says :"Initializing video export"
My task manager shows PS keeps using %25 during this time.
What can I do to solce this?
I even installed Media Encouder CC 2014 becasue I read that it migh be related but it did not help.
