Lightroom 5.3 problems, downloading through Creative Cloud.  Error 1624
ERROR: Install MSI payload failed with error: 1624 - Error applying transforms. Verify that the specified transform paths are valid.
MSI Error message:
ERROR: Third party payload installer Adobe_Lightroom_x64.msi failed with exit code: 1624

this is from emma at https://blogs.adobe.com/lightroomjournal/2013/12/lightroom-5-3-now-available.html
I had this same error and managed to get around it by running the .msi file that the CC app downloaded to a temp folder on my own. Steps were:
1. Find the location Adobe_Lightroom_X64.msi (in a a temp folder)
2. Run it and install (serial number was already pre-filled out)
3. Restart the CC desktop app
It then appeared as installed under ‘Your Apps’ and works as usual.

  • Problems Downloading: Adobe Creative Cloud Enterprise-Package

I am a Adobe Creative Cloud Enterprise Administrator. I have gone through the steps of logging in, inputting our serial number, selecting the applications for the package and then downloading the package. The problem is that the download stops at 2%. I even left it running overnight and it is still at 2%. I've tried again this morning, deleted the cache and attempted to create a new package, same result stops at 2%.  Does any one have a clue on how to fix this problem?

  • Lightroom 5.7 problem after installing Creative Cloud Photoshop 2014 Trial.

My Lightroom was working fine earlier today. However I wanted to edit some photos from my new Fuji x100T in Photoshop. When I tried to go into my CC 5 Photoshop, it wouldn't load the photos because my Camera Raw Plug-In wasn't up to date and when I tried to update it, it wouldn't update it for CC5 past the version I already had which is 6.7. So I broke down and downloaded the Photoshop CC 2014 trial so I would have the most recent Camera Raw Plug In. After installing it, I tried to open Lightroom and got the message: "Configuration Error. Pleas uninstall and reinstall the product. If this problem still occurs, please contact Adobe technical support for help and mention Error 5. I have never had to uninstall a Lightroom version to be able to install an upgrade and I am concerned about losing information (presets, ratings,Maybe photos) if I do. Not sure why I am getting this message for a program which was working perfectly up to the moment I installed the CC Photoshop Trial. Help! I have work I need to do in Lightroom (and Photoshop) tonight and it is a big problem that I can't use Lightroom.

    Hi Jeff,
    Thank you for your reply.
No, I am not using Windows. I’m using Yosemite 10.10.2 on a MacBook Pro.
I ended up trashing (There was no “Uninstall" option) my old Lightroom (which was 5.7), reinstalling Lightroom 5 and then upgrading it to 5.7. Now seem to be working alright.
I uninstalled Creative Cloud 6 and went back to using CS5, using Lightroom to render the files, since I can’t use the latest Camera Raw versions with CS5, so I could work on them in Photoshop. Not an ideal solution. I wouldn’t mind upgrading to CC6 but not if it messes up everything else.
Quite honestly, I don’t understand why an Adobe user should have to depend on other Adobe customers for answers about Adobe problems. Adobe should have a strong customer support group to handle these problems, particularly when they are caused by Adobe. I have been an Adobe customer for at least 10 years. I like the products but the customer support needs to be improved. Apple does a better job.

  • Illustrator CS6 download through Creative Cloud "appears corrupted" according to App Manager

I'm trying to install Illustrator CS6 through the Adobe Application Manager on Mountain Lion 10.8.  All of the other apps downloaded and installed fine.
But when trying to downlaod Illustrator, it downlaods the file, and the a message appears saying "The download appears corrupted.  Please Cancel, wait a few minutes and try again. (-60)".  I've been trying off and on for the past week or so now.
    Any tips or tricks?
Not sure if it's relevant since the other apps installed fine, but I'm currently installing to a new external SSD drive that I've booted from.  I'm installing all the software I need onto it.  Then once I'm done and ready, I'll swap drives.
I'm running Apple OS 10.8 on a Macbook Pro with 2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo procs and 8GB of RAM.  The MacBook Pro is a 17-inch early 2009 model (first unibody model).
    Thanks!
    Adam

    Hi Adam,
Its a workaround but might be an easy solution, you might just download and install the Illustrator CS6 trial and then just license it to be part of your Creative Cloud membership using the "License This Software" option.
    This document describes the process.

  • Trying to download through Creative Cloud

When I go to the Creative Cloud website to download Premiere Pro CC, it isn't showing up as an app that is downloadable through my creative cloud team membership.

Please go back to my reply #1 and read the links again
It LOOKS like you do not have a 64bit computer, which is REQUIRED for Premiere Pro
If you don't know how to find out what kind of computer you have, you need to contact Adobe chat
Next link has a "Chat Now" button near the bottom

  • InDesign won't download through Creative Cloud

I've kept trying to download InDesign, but the same thing keeps happening over and over...it'll only download to 42%, then it'll say it's "extracting", then it will go back to 42%, and not move from there.  I've done this 3 times already, restarting, turning on/off my computer in between each time.  I even tried using a different administrator account on my computer.  I've spoken to customer service and nothing has worked.  I am on Windows 7.  Acer Timeline.

Kcerv it is likely you are facing download failures if you are not able to make it past 50 percent.  Please try using an alternate Internet connection to download the installation files.
As an alternative you can also download the installation files at http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-cc-direct-download-links.html.  Please make sure to complete the Very Important Instructions prior to clicking on the download links.

  • Windows stops download of Creative Cloud

    windows stops downloading Creative Cloud

    Hi Soul Surfer Babe,
    Welcome to Adobe Forum,
Your answer can be found in :
    http://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/lightroom-creative-cloud-faq.html#id_7413
Why don't I see Lightroom in the Creative Cloud app?
If you're a paying Creative Cloud member, you may not see Lightroom in the Creative Cloud if your computer doesn't meet the minimum system requirements. Check to make sure that your system meets the minimum requirements for the latest release of Lightroom.
If you're using a trial version of Creative Cloud, the Lightroom trial is not available through Creative Cloud. It is, however, available as a stand-alone trial. See Install Lightroom trial | Creative Cloud membership.
    Note:
    Lightroom requires a 64-bit-compatible operatin
You can get detailed information in http://helpx.adobe.com/lightroom/kb/lightroom-creative-cloud-faq.html# id_7413

I just purchased a license for LR 5 (received via reseller, DVD in Box) and wanted to use the serial on the downloaded LR5 version through Creative Cloud.
System sais "The serial number you entered is invalid. Please try again. If problem persists contact Customer support".
I have tried several times, without success. Internet connection is working.
    Thanks for your help.

If you have a DVD version then you have to use the serial number that is associated with the DVD version.  A Cloud subscription number has no relationship to a DVD serial number.

unable to update my software through creative cloud. receive download error

    Hi Jeff,
Thanks for your feedback, I managed to workout the problem.
I went to info on my 'Adobe' folder within the 'Applications' folder on my
harddrive and found that my 'Sharing and permissions' on the 'admin'
    option was read only.
I unlocked the Adobe folder and changed my admin privileges to read and
    write.
