I don't understand why you feel you need to use ViewNX to download your images from the camera. Lightroom has an excellent import process. I don't see that you gain anything by using the Nikon software. It seems to me that it has the capability of just creating more problems.
If you want to convert your D750 files to DNG using the standalone DNG converter thing you need to have DNG converter 8.7 installed. Once you have it installed, just choose the FOLDER in the DNG converter, but don't open it in the DNG converter file browser. If you open that folder then you will get the message that there are no files to convert. The converter works on the folder level, not the individual file level.

Support for the Nikon D750 was introduced in the latest version of LR 5.7 and ACR 8.7 on Novemder 18th 2014.
Further updates to LR 4 were stopped when LR 5 was released on June 9th 2013. No further updates for bug fixes and new camera support.
Nada, LR 4 will never support Nikon D750. The Nikon D750 was introduced into the market in September 2014 some 15 months after further development of LR 4 was discontinued.
You can use the Adobe DNG program (free download for the package) to convert the Nef (raw) files from your Nikon D750 to the Adobe DNG format which will permit you to import those into LR 4. This is the crutch provided by Adobe to allow for the processing of raw files with outdated versions of LR and ACR.
You can also update the ACR plugin for PS CS6 to version 8.7 which can also work with the raw files from the D750. For direct support in Lightroom you will need to upgrade (paid) to version 5.7. -

It sounds like you may have purchased a CreatePDF subscription through safari, using our web interface. If this is the case, the good news is that subscription will also work with the (free) Adobe Reader. Simply install the Reader from the App Store:

Once installed, you can then use "Open In" from another app like Mail to open the Word document in Adobe Reader. Reader will show the word doc, but it will also show you a message pointing to the "convert" button (A document with an arrow through it in the toolbar). Pressing this button should prompt you to sign into Acrobat.com. Use the same account you used to purchase your subscription and Reader will upload the word document for conversion, placing it in the Acrobat.com and Outbox section of the Reader. I am not able to see toolbars, when I open a new window that window is not visible, if I open from bookmarks and there is music playing I hear it but canNOT SEE the websites. I was able to get window open from the help "window" and open sites from there just not from new: window tab or bookmarks those stay invisible? I tried the help suggestions, safemode,etc.

I just downloaded and installed Photoshop cc and the Camera Raw version is not the latest one available,so now I can no longer open files from my Nikon D750! Can I update ACR?
I have been using the new version of ACR with PS6 and have been able to open the D750 files,now I'm stuck.

I just installed Camera Raw 8.7.1. It put the folders in a "Pug-Ins" folder under \Programs\Common Files. My Photoshop CC 2014 is in \Programs\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CC2014. When I try to open a NEF file from my Nikon D750, CC 2014 says it cannot open it; it is an unsupported file type. So what do I need to do? TIA, Rob

Which version of photoshop are you using?
Do you get any message when you try to open the files into photoshop?
Did you use Nikon Transfer to get the files from your camera to computer?
Did you try the File>Get Photos From Camera in Adobe Bridge? -

How do I get Lightroom 4 to recognize my .nef raw pics from D5300 Nikon?
Adobe lists my D5300 Nikon as compatible, and others I know can upload .nef from different Nikons. (Don't know another with D5300 to ask)
Don't know what I am doing wrong.
I am using Windows 8.1, and no updates are listed for Windows or for my version of Lightroom 4.
Any help on how to get Lightroom 4 to view and upload .nef files?

The above list shows that support for the Nikon D5300 was introduced in Lightroom version 5.3.
You have two options a. Upgrade to LR version 5 (latest version is 5.5) or b. Download and utilize the Adobe DNG Converter version 8.3 or later, to convert the .nef files from the D5300 to dng format. Lightroom version 4 will be able to read and process the dng files.
If you choose the b. option its best you use the option to retain your original raw files. For one your Nikon software will not read the dng files. -
How do I import images. Have a message that says: The files are not recognized by the raw format suppot in Lightroom. Am using a Mac version 10.9.4. the import is from a new Nikon D610. Am using LR 4.4 Please help Adobe is useless as a support.
Each camera must be supported explicity and your LR version is years older than your camera.
According to Adobe's Camera-support page, you need at least LR 5.3 to work with your D610 NEFs in LR:

If you don't want to upgrade to LR 5, or can't due to your OS being too old, then it might work to use the latest DNG Converter and create DNGs from your NEFs, which should open in LR 4.x. You can find the DNG Converter here: http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates -
My iphone 4s ios 7/0/4 will not update music or apps from itunes 11.1.3. this was true with my pc since ios 7.0.3 even with update 7.0.4 and now continues with my new MacPro also runing itunes 11.1.3. as most state in previous threads, syncs all non itunes related data with no issue and appears to work correctly on itunes data but then hangs on the last step of updating until it times out. i have tried marking specific music to transfer, setting up new playlist, deleting some old playlist on phone but stopped short of restoring my phone back to new due to the amount of non itunes data that i will lose. The itunes setup on the macpro was completely with the download of all music from a previous external backup and the creation of new playlist - on the first sync with existing phone it did ask to overwrite all phone itunes data with macpro itunes data which i did accept - no different result - no changes on phone.
Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
If the problem continues, take the device to Apple for evaluation and possible replacement. -

Purchased music from I-tunes will no longer play when I hit play. The message "music file cannot be located" pops up and then takes me to some other file system. Does anybody know what to do? I have already tried to make sure that my Itunes player is default and that is not the problem.
Help!You get this message because iTunes can’t find the file. This can happen for a number of reasons:
The song file or a folder in its path was renamed
The song file or the folder it is in has been moved
The song file has been deleted
The device containing the song files e.g. external drive is not accessible or the drive letter has changed.
