Lightroom 5 et creative cloud

Bonjour,
cordialement
Emmanuel

How can I change the install location when installing an App (i.e. Lightroom) from Creative Cloud?

Rolfjuelg I am sorry but Lightroom does not support custom installation locations through the Creative Cloud.  You can find more details at Lightroom and Creative Cloud FAQ.

  • Lightroom and Creative Cloud: Publish Service?

Will there be a "Publish Service" made available for those of us who already have Lightroom 4?  Trying to figure out how to use CC to access and share my Lightroom photographs...

    Hi Kmpeterson,
Although it is certainly possible to upload your photos in Lightroom to Creative Cloud, the Creative Cloud storage was primarily intended to use for hosting projects from the desktop applications and not your entire Lightroom image library. There is no native functionality to export to the Creative Cloud from Lightroom 4. There is an export option for publishing to Adobe Revel (might have been what you were thinking of). Adobe Revel also uses cloud storage and was specifically designed to store image libraries online, on the cloud, to be able to view on different devices. Adobe Revel is not one of the products included with Creative Cloud Membership and is also a separate monthly subscription product. If Adobe Revel sounds like something you might be interested in, there is a 30 trial of Adobe Revel you could use to try it out before subscribing.

  • Lightroom via Creative Cloud is not working.

I have a problem. I have One Year, Paid Monthly plan. I'm paying every month automatically, the next payment is in a week but when I'm trying to open Lightroom now it shows me that "0 days remaining" and is not allowing me to use it. I upadated it and it's still not working even on my profile it shows me that it's actual/updated.
I really need it badly now and don't know what to do?
    Please help.

  • Installing Adobe Lightroom from Creative Cloud app

    Hello,
I have a subscription for Adobe Photoshop CC and Adobe Lightroom. I've just successfuly installed Photoshop from Creative cloud app, though I can't find there the Lightroom. I installed a trial version of Lightroom from Adobe.com, use it in a trial mode because there is no way to activate it.
How can I deal with that?

  • Ripped off - Bought Lightroom and Creative Cloud at same time.

I signed up for Creative Cloud when it came out and bought Lightroom around the same time because Creative Cloud didnt include Lightroom. Since that it does, I feel ripped off that I bought Lightroom.
I can't return the software because its about a week and half 30 days. Adobe customer support has said that there is nothing they can do.
    Suggestion?

    Hi jifjif06

  • I purchased a Mac Book Pro how to integrate lightroom and Creative cloud

How can I integrate Creative Cloud with a Mac Book Pro?
I currently use Windows 7 file system to store my Lightroom photos.   I have the dng lightroom files in a top file directory and the exports for email and various functions in sub directories.   How does this work in the Mac Book Pro?
    Howie

The file system is very similar to, if not exactly the same, as it is on Windows. The problem is the way Apple has chosen to display certain things in a Finder window. Just because there is a Pictures entry in the Finders sidebar, that is on the left of a Finder window, doesn't mean that Shortcut/Alias/Link shows All Pictures on every drive connected to the computer. It is a Link/Alias/Shortcut to the Pictures folder in the Users/CurrentlyLoggedOnUserName folder.
The filing system is the same. There are Folders, Sub-Folder and files just like on Windows. If you want those images you have on a memory card to show up under the Link/Shortcut/Alias named Pictures in the Finders sidebar you will need to Copy them from the card to the Pictures folder under your Username.
Also by default Apple has chosen to hide things from display. If you go to the Finders preferences you can turn on all kind of stuff that make the system easier to use. Specifically what is displayed in the sidebar and on the desktop.
your best bet is to first familiarize yourself with Finder and how it displays things. In Windows the left panel of Win Explorer displays drive letters and other links to certain folders on your drives. OS X Finder does the same if those thing are turn on for display. One big part is OS X doesn't use drive letters. It uses Names. Specifically what on Windows would be the C:\ drive in OS X it is Macintosh HD. The same thing as C, your main drive.
I used a Mac for 2.5 years and IMHO Windows, in general, is easier to use.
Let me add that if you bought your Mac from Apple directly you have 14 days from date of purchase to return it, No Questions Asked, for a full refund.
If you bought it from some other retailer, Apple Authorized reseller, you would need to check with them on their return policy. I know Best Buy has a 30 day return policy.
If you are finding the Mac and OS X just to hard to get use to I suggest you return it and get what you know. That is if you are still within that 14 day return period or within the return period for the reseller you bought it from.

  • Changing Lightroom from Creative Cloud to Standalone?

I bought a standalone CD for Lightroom 5 a while back and downloaded it onto my computer, then got a new computer. On my new computer, Lightroom somehow ended up as Creative Cloud, and it says I have to renew my membership to use the Develop Module. However, I don't want Creative Cloud. Is there a way I can get off of Creative Cloud and just put in the serial number from the CD to reactivate Lightroom without having to redownload it and lose all of my photos?

You have to download the standalone LR 5 from Product updates
Install it, put in your serial number and you're ready to go. You will not lose any of your photos.
You will have to cancel your CC subscription.

  • Can't uninstall lightroom in creative cloud

I wasn't using Lightroom (for some reason I had both 4 and 5 installed on my computer) and so I followed Adobe's directions in deleting them by moving the .app files to the trash.
I also checked to make sure there weren't any preferences in my library (I'm on a Mac), and also deleted all the files in the /picture folder.
Despite all of this, Lightroom is still in my Creative Cloud doc—both Lightroom 4 and 5.
And Creative Cloud prompted me to "update" Lightroom 5, and so I allowed it just to see how it would behave. It is now completely reinstalling Lightroom 5.
(Lightroom 4 just has the green check mark next to it indicated that it is up to date).
What must I do to fix this problem?
    Thank you!

  • Hi guys, i ve baught the abo for lightroom and photoshop yesterday and today i wanted to install lightroom with creative cloud on my computer but there is an error that i havent got a valid key. does anyone know what to do now

    .

The Creative Cloud Version of Lightroom does not need a key. Is it possible you have a Trial or previous version of Lightroom installed and that is what you are seeing? If so, uninstall the Lightroom version you have and install it via the Creative Cloud Application.

  • No Lightroom with Creative Cloud Single App Purchase??

Numerous websites have posted that Lightroom is included with a Photoshop CC subscription.
If this is not the case, Adobe needs to correct this ASAP.
I have no option in AAM or CC to install the app. It doesn't show at all.
    Running Windows 7 with SP1. 64bit.
I have purchased lightroom and its upgrades for years.
    What gives??

    Hi KanoaPalani,
The single app purchase for Photoshop CC subscription does not come with Lightroom. The confusion created here is because Lightroom is formally called "Photoshop Lightroom". With that said, Photoshop CC does not come with Lightroom CC and vice versa. Since the apps are separate, they must be purchased either in a bundle/package or both individually as Single App downloads.
Below is more information about Single App Memberships:
A Single App membership plan gives you access to the latest version of one desktop app of your choice, plus updates and upgrades the moment they are released, 20GB of online storage for file sharing and collaboration, a customized online portfolio on your own URL with ProSite, and integration with Behance so you can find inspiration, showcase your work, get feedback, and gain global exposure. You also get access to the following services: the new Creative Cloud desktop app so you can keep track of your creative world in a single activity stream; improved collaboration through folder sharing and file versioning; and the ability to sync your settings, fonts, and colors (in select apps, with more to come soon).
    Hope this helps!

  • How to change from Lightroom 5 creative cloud to using Lightroom 5 CD.

I downloaded the Lightroom 5 Trial. Then After the 30 days was up I ordered the Lightroom 5 Cd. I installed the CD but I am unable to use lightroom, it continues to say I need to upgrade my subscription. How do I update my program so I can stop using creative cloud and just use my Lightroom CD

did you uninstall the trial version Lightroom you were using Before installing your CD version?
they are licensed differently, if you buy the perpetual license version you should uninstall the trial version before installing the perpetual license version. Works fine after that.
personally I'd uninstall LR completely and then reinstall your CD. Erosion. That should sort it.

  • Lightroom vs Lightroom CS6 creative cloud

I had lightroom 4.2 on my laptop but after I got a creative cloud subscription, I uninstalled it and installed a CC version. Today my system says that I have Lightroom 4.3 64 bit     (not Lighroom 4.3 64bit CS6) (and indeed that is what it is when I open - it offers to update to 4.4). Meanwhile, Adobe Applications manager(for CC) says Lightroom 4.4 is up to date.
I updated, but I think the best root is to uninstall LR and reinstall it again from CC. My worry is - will it be possible? Will the app manage "know" what I am doing or will I lose the lot?
The reason for wanting CC versions of the software is obvious - automatic updates.
ANyone else had the same problem?

Run the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool, let AAM reinstall.

  • How to reinstall Lightroom for Creative Cloud from Application Manager

Lightroom would not launch from the Lightroom icon, so I tried to locate Lightroom and start it start it from my list of programs. Seemed to be a problem and still wouldn't start. I then removed Lightroom from Control Panel by "Add, Remove Programs". I wrongly presumed this would change the status in Adobe Application Manager from "installed".
Please advise how I can re-install Lightroom with my Creative Cloud Membership. I think it would have been much easier to have a re-install button next to the product for situations like this, as the Application Manager doesn't seem to recognise uninstalled programs.
Any help would be appreciated.  Also, please advise what I should do if this happens again, if different from what I mentioned above.
    Thanks,
    Julie

I wrongly presumed this would change the status in Adobe Application Manager from "installed".
It should. What specific error did you get with your LR? For anything else you might try running the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool and let it reinstall things...
