Lightroom 5 Help says that to change the size of filmstrip thumbnails: "Place pointer over top edge of filmstrip; when pointer changes to doublearrow, drag the filmstrip edge up or down." However I never get a double arrow. Instead I get a hand icon that allows me to drag the thumbnails to right or left. How can I change the filmstrip thumbnail size?
It works for me. Are you sure you are hovering in the right spot? It's the dividing line between the filmstrip and the Toolbar.

Disconnect your device. Open the Camera Roll and manually delete all the pictures from the iPhone Camera Roll that you just imported.

Did you delete all receipts with iDVD in the file name with either a .PKG or .BOM extension that reside in the HD/Library/Receipts folder and from the /var/db/receipts/ folder before installing the new copy? If not then do so and delete the new application also.

In MAC, I want to change document size from 8.5X11 to 18X24 to create a poster to print through Staples. I created the doc originally in WORD, changed the size in WORD, converted to PDF doc. But PDF doc is still in 8.5X11. Read ADOBE support help info. Terls me to change size in application rather than printer. BUT ACROBAT Pro does not give me a page set up option in FILE. I can only find one in the printer dialog box. Help!

You should have at least 10% of your total storage.
1 GB is not enough, you need to delete more

When I use Preview to view a PDF in Hebrew, I cannot search in Hebrew nor copy or paste instead I get gibberish.
Is there a way to fix this?Do you have an example that someone could look at? I wouldn't be surprised if most PDFs you found were gibberish. PDF is a print format and is really only designed to be printed out and read by a human. Constructing a PDF with real Hebrew Unicode would be a rare find. Here is one example I found by passing the Hebrew word for "Hebrew" in Hebrew in Google. This is a valid PDF. I have no idea what it says.

my Iphone 5s was working perfectly before downloading the IOS 8.0.1 and later IOS 8.0.2. When my Iphone run out of battery, I connected it to Itunes, however the phone never turned on, and kept trying to sync, however got an itunes failure message.

Recently Apple replaced the hard drive on Mac running Yosmite 10.10.2 and now when i try to rn FaceTime, the computer says "no camera available". Does anyone no how to fix this?
Assuming there is no hardware problem try reinstalling Yosemite. If this does not work then take it back to the Apple Store.

Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions: Upon startup select Disk Utility from the main menu. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions as follows.
When the recovery menu appears select Disk Utility and press the Continue button. After Disk Utility loads select the Macintosh HD entry from the the left side list. Click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If Disk Utility reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit Disk Utility and return to the main menu.
Reinstall OS X: Select Reinstall OS X and click on the Continue button.
Note: You will need an active Internet connection. I suggest using Ethernet if possible because it is three times faster than wireless.

I reorganised my music organisation totally in iTunes on my Mac (Lion). iTunes does not sync this new artist organisation to the iPod and many albums are divided over several artists. How can I change this?
I've called the Apple helpline. The only way to organise music on the iPod classic, is to use playlists. They themselves can be organised in playlist folders.
