Lightroom 5 - in all of the panels starting with Basic all titles are showing "Reset". For example, Tone is now showing Reset Tone - Resent Presence.
In all panels the titles are showing "Reset". Can you please explain and tell me how to fix?

Sounds like you have an [Alt/Opt] key stuck down. Pressing this key changes to the Reset mode. If your key isn't stuck, did you recently custom map some keystrokes?

That does happen. It depends on how hard the server is being hit, as well as the connection speed of your system. If you are on a windows system, you will want to disable any antivirus or firewall software during the download.

That shows you that iPhoto is working correctly and whatever issue you are having is based in your original library.
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

How do I stop the "Getting Started with Mozilla Firefox" tab from opening every time I open FF?

Every time I open FF, the "Getting Started with Mozilla Firefox" tab opens. I have checked and it's not in my homepage list.
If I open any additional windows, it doesn't open.
But, once I close all of them and reopen it again, the tab opens.
I've had a similar problem with a couple addons (ietab) doing the same thing.

about:config is typed into the address bar as if you were going to a web page.
It will popup a message warning you that you are messing with important stuff.
Just agree.

You can use Ranges for this purpose:
RANGES: r_name FOR type_name.
r_name-sign = 'I'.
r_name-option = 'CP'.
r_name-low = 'a*'.
INSERT r_name.

You can't open the application Start.osx because PowerPC applications are no longer supported.

what does this error message mean? I am trying to use a disc that came along with a book I ordered for studying. However, when I try and run it, this is the error message I receive. And for this I guess that it is the backing up of my Podcasts - which are free downloads that causes the hang up. These are items that I have played and synced before without issues. I am thinking this way because these are Podcasts that I used to play but sundenly would not play on my iPhone. Each time I try to play anyone of them it generates the message - this movie could not be played.
I am scared of atempting a system restore because I guess I may lose my SMS for the past two months. Please approach the solution from this point of view.

You should take a look at the Knowledge Base article [[How to set the home page]].
There are steps in that article to reset your homepage preferences to default. I would try that first to clear out any strangeness. If that works, you can try setting your homepage again to your personal preference.
If that doesn't work you should look at [https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Firefox+has+just+updated+tab+shows+each+time+you+start+Firefox this article about that specific issue] and the article [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Preferences_not_saved Preferences not saved].

Can't seem to deploy EJB by following the 'Getting Started with WebGain Studio'

Yes I checked it. As far as I can see I did everything Apple said to do. I took some screen shot so you can see how the screens are connected and what and where the code is, and what it does when I drag the cancel and done bar buttons to the exit

Under Data Marts folder, what is the datasource starting with 8?

Run rsa1 -> Source Systems, then pick the BW system itself as the client, under folders BW DataSources -> Business Information Warehouse -> Data Marts, we can see some datasources or infosources starting with 8, how these datasouces get created and what are the purpose of them?
We know that the datasource starting with 7 means the export datasource generated from PSA, but have no idea what is for datasource starting with 8. Anyone's explanation is greatly appreciated!

Hi Kevin,
The DataSources starting with 8 are the datamart data sources, or Export DatSources. This means that they would supply data from the BW system to the BW system.
You will notice that the name is 8DataTarget, where DataTarget could be like an ODS object or an InfoCube. This means that data from this ODS or InfoCube can be updated to other data targets in the BW system using update rules.
You can generate the Export datasource from the context menu of a data target.
