Lightroom 5 non stop crashing on Windows 7

And yes, I already did the ui.dll exchange... now it also blacks out randomly when moving around the interface. Not always the same but it will certainly do it after a few clicks... won't continue working with it WAY too risky.
Needless to say every other program runs smoothly, for a long time no app crashed in my system... back to LR4...
I must say that Win 7 resists very well all this... I haven't had a blue screen in ages...
Hopefully is being looked into...

obviously something going on... especially after having such smooth experience with LR 2,3,4...
Now I am back on 4 and will only play with 5 if proven safe... I will load all updates of win to make sure...

Lightroom 4.4 crashed on Windows 7 Laptop today, lost catalog info, won't import half my images.
Not only is LR messed up, it deleted my day's shooting. Can't believe that.
Now it won't import (i.e. re-import) half my files.
Imported half, but had errors importing rest.
Corrupt catalog?
When I try to import the folders, it recognizes that they are in the catalog (I have "don't import duplicates" turned on).
After running through all the folders, it says, "Nothing to Import."
Any help?

I installed a plugin, coincidence makes me thinks this might have cause a LR4.4 crash.
After rebooting my windows 7 laptop, LR had lost record of half my directories on the external drive, as seen in Library Module.
In Windows Explorer, the folders and images are still there.
I tried recovering the lost folder references in LR by doing an import on the external hard drive again.
It took about a half hour to run.
There was a report screen at the end of the process that said that LR was unable to import something like 1500 images.
I did not save the report screen. Maybe it is part of a log file somewhere to give you what it exactly said?
I do not profess to understand how catalogues work under the covers.
I only use one catalog at this point.
My guess is at this point I should de-commission the catalog (whatever it takes to do that - delete it, etc.) and just do a new, fresh import on my images.
I don't feel I lose anthing this way - I can't see where I would lose anything important. About 5-10% of the RAW images were processed and exported to jpg, just for web use for casual viewing. The jpg's are all still on the external hard drive.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

How can I get Photoshop CC to stop crashing? (Windows 8.1, GeForce GT 755M)

Graphics card GeForce GT 755M (up to date driver) Bits/Pixel: 32
4096MB available graphics memory
As you can see I have plenty of Ram on this computer, yet when Photoshop opens it says: "3D features require a minimum of 512MB of vRAM. Photoshop has detected less than that on your system. Updating the driver of your graphic card may resolve the issue."
I click ok, because I'm not using 3D graphics and start to work on a project. 3-4 actions into doing any project, photoshop crashes with the pop-up: " Adobe Photoshop has stopped working, a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
I already did a clean install of my graphic card driver and this did not help.
I'm running Photoshop CC 64 bit. Do I need to switch to 32 bit to be compatible with my graphics card??

Lightroom 5.3 crashes in Windows 8.1

I recently upgraded my laptop to one with Windows 8 (not because of Windows). The File Manager program does not work on my laptop, so I've had to install a third party file management app. Does Lightroom integrate with the Windows app because whenever I try to manage files in Lightroom (plug-in manager, publishing services, import destination) the program crashes. I can't install any plug-in's or add any new folders to my export settings. Is there a fix to this?

I just successfully tried the suggestions on this page: http://windowsxp.mvps.org/slowrightclick.htm! Disabling all context menu handlers except for the Windows files fixed the problem I was having in Lightroom!

i have used lightroom for years and never have had any problems. i recently upgraded from LR 4 to LR 5.3 and have frequent crashes. I can't pinpoint when they happen. In the develop module and in the library module. I have windows 7. what to do???

i am running 64-bit (i think?). the system information says Appliaiton architecture: x86. processor speed 2.7 GHz, built in memory is 2984 MB, memory available to Lightroom is 278 MB, cache size 48 mb. i have plenty of disk space.

Fresh OS and Logic install... non stop CRASHING!

can anyone offer any advice on what i can do to stop logic crashing.
ive just clean installed snow leopard and logic... all updated and im working on songs... but logic is crashing much more than it did before i re-installed.
is there any way i can find out why?

Crash report provided in the thread is not complete so it is difficult to understand the root cause of the issue.
Please share the complete Crash Report by following the below steps.
1. Launch Console from /Applications/Utilities/
2. In the left sidebar, expand "User Diagnostic Reports"
3. Right Click on the Dreamweaver crash report and open it in Finder
4. Copy the recent .crash file for Dreamweaver and forward to my EMail ID(yprasad_@_adobe_._com, ignore the underscores).
Also please let us know if you are facing the issue only after installing the latest OSX 10.10 public beta seed 14A361p

Non-stop crashes...any ideas?

I recently started having bsod (blue) like, everytime I start my computer. And the thing is, they always change. First it was "IRQ is not less or equal" but I havent seen that one in a while. The newest problem is that WinXP does not recognize either of my cd drives. I've tried flashing the bios, and put back on one of the older drivers, I've tried different sets of drivers, ect. I even had to buy a new hard drive because my IBM drive went dead. My current specs off the top of my head are:
Nforce k7n420 pro
Athlon 1.2ghz
Western Digital 100ghz HD
Yamaha 24x burner
Kenwood 52x cdrom
I'm currently using onboard audio and graphics.

Sounds like multiple problems there.
1) What RAM are you using? Could be not 100% compatable.
2) Limit the amount of Drives on your system. Put one HD on Primary Master, and CD-RW on Secondary Master.
3) What is the Power Supply you are running?
4) You could also have Driver Conflicts. Are you running any other PCI or USB Devices?

Lightroom 5.4 crashes when attempting to import files

AMD A10, 3.7 GHz
Windows 8.1, 64-bit
12 gb Ram
Lightroom 5.4
Yesterday I imported and was working on some files (ORF files).
Today everytime that I try to import more files (also ORF files), Lightroom immediately stops crashes, an error window pops up ("Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 64-bit has stopped working"). and closes.
Anybody knows why?!
Already rebooted the PC, and copied the files to the HD. Still crashing

Same here, except it's with JPEG or RAW files. I can import a folder, or an individual picture. However, when I try to import all of my pictures at once (either from external HD or the HD on my computer then i get the same error message and it crashes.

I have a toshiba computer and it is windows 7, recently after I installed imatch everytime I open itunes I get the message 'i tunes has stopped working' and windows cannot find a solution and has to close. There is no solution and I don't know how to get the crash information on my computer....can anyone help as I want to finish downloading all my songs to match to be available on my mac products.

iTunes 11.0.1.12 and Windows 7 (32 bit, latest version). iTunes crashes frequently (Windows message : "iTunes has stopped working and will be closed"). I may be trying to search for an App. or book (or anything else), trying to access iTunes store, checking for updates to Apps., inputting my password, etc. etc. I have uninstalled iTunes several times, reinstalled several times, but the error persists. I tried the iTunes 10 suggested fix of running in safe mode, but iTunes again crashed when I was trying to create a new ID.
Any real help would be gratefully received. Thank you.

Still having this issue

Adobe flash plugin crashes non stop in Firefox only. IE and Chrome work fine

or 3 days I can't do anything Firefox. the flash player crashes non stop. I have tried everything I can find in the support forums. This does not happen on chrome or IE. I prefer Firefox but I cannot use it if it won't work.

It wouldn't stop crashing long enough to open and send the others. but this is the most recent from today. I uninstalled it for 2 days and had no crashes yet couldn't watch any videos.
