Lightroom 5 number of licenses

I have just purchased a copy of LR5 which came as part of a camera lense purchase. The card inside shows one serial number. It says it is valid for one license. Can this version be installed on 2 PCs using this number or do I have to get another serial number for PC #2? I guess I am basically confused over serial numbers versus number of licenses.

You probably downloaded the Lightroom Creative Cloud version. Your Perpetual License key will not work.
Uninstall the existing version of Lightroom, this process will not affect your Catalog, Preferences or personal files.
Then download the correct version from the link below, install and enter the license. Every thing should be just fine. (Also by displaying your License Key for all to see anyone can use it to have a free copy of the program)

Lightroom Serial Number in Creative Cloud

I have been using Lightroom everyday with no problem then today it has started up as if it is loading for the first time & asking for a serial number. I am using the Creative Cloud for Photographers & I don't seem to have a serial number. can anyone help?

There is no serial number for any Cloud apps. They are activated via your Adobe ID.
Close PS and Lightroom.
In the Cloud desktop app, try signing out of your Adobe account then signing back in. See if it makes any difference to Lightroom being recognized as licensed under your Adobe ID.

Who knows how to get the total number of licenses, I am using SBO 2005 PL07+VB.Net. from SDK help file I saw there is a SAP Business One License API, but I cann't find this API from object browse, who knows which file contents the license API.

Hi Kathy,
Since (un-?)fortunately the license server has been moved from DCOM to CORBA, this information is currently obsolete (I still hope we will get this information through the SDK some time in future...).
As an interim solution you will have to get this information from the B1LicenseFile.txt file through some small application you write (you could have e.g. a service that writes the information you are interested in into some table in some database - and retrieve this information through a SQL statement).

We have purchased 8 licenses of Acrobat XI pro, and there is only one key associated with it.
Can anyone let me know, where can i get information regarding the number of licenses already in use, and MAC addresses associated to the PC in which its activated (if available)

It can be assessed through your internal monitoring system. However when you cross the number of activation count of the serial number, there is a prompt warning you regarding this.
Unfortunately it can not be assessed in licensing website.

Real-time 8.6 Remote panel connection exceeds max number of licenses- with no connections

I've been using the remote panel right along with no problems to connect to my Compact Fieldpoint. This morning I accidently opened the connection twice on the same computer and tripped the "Remote panel connection exceeds max number of licenses" error. Now it will not let me connect anymore from my computer. I've tried clearing cookies, cache and history in Internet Explorer and rebooting my computer. I've fired up the Remote Panel Connection Manager which shows no connections, and the NI License Information window does not show any connections which have been denied due to max # of clients being exceeded. Is there a way to reset this without having to reboot my RT controller? I'm running RT8.6 and LV 8.6 Full Dev System and understanding that it should come with 1 remote panel license.

The boss wanted to see an updated feature, so I was forced to deploy a new version and reboot. Problem went away as I suspected it would.
I did manage to make the same mistake again this morning (launch the remote panel in 2 different MSIE windows) and after closing them both I could reconnect. Must be a glitch or a bug? It'd be interesting to see if anyone else has this problem. For now...solved, but it would be nice to see a way to fix this without rebooting.

Lets clear a couple of things up first.
1, You have the Photographers CC subscription which gives you access to PSCC and the current version of Lightroom.
2. PSCC does not include Lightroom.
Now what you will need to do is delete the Lightroom app on your iMac and restart the Mac. Then you can d/load Lightroom from the CC app.

I am looking at purchasing the Student Edition of Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and wanted to know the number of License Keys it comes with. I am looking to put it on two of my computers and would rather purchase the non student edition if I can't get multiple licenses.

The student and teacher edition can only be used in private computer owned by the license holder and not in computers owned by some organization for commercial use. The license can use this software in maximum two self-owned machine. The software is not allowed be transferred to some other parties. Only one copy of the software can be bought by a person. These restrictions are not applicable in case of regular edition.

Maximum number of licenses reached error message on CCX agent's desktop

Intermittently CAD agents or supervisor are getting the error message "Maximum number of licenses reached". I have checked at the same time of error, still there are license available but users are getting this error message. Currently we have 50 seats licenses.I have noticed this problem reoccur when it's reaching the login agents between 40-50 agents. Is there any threshold value, we can modify to get rid of this error message.

We had a very similar issue last week. For us we had a couple of sessions that were stuck that didn't end properly even after a restart (probably because we have a HA cluster).
We have 35 seat licenses activated but only 33 agents could log in. Ended up raising a TAC case and doing the following -
1) From the command line run show uccx cad license usage to list the current license status - a list of IPs that are currently claiming a license.
2) Run the same command when the contact center is closed and see who is still claiming a license. Here I traced the computers down and made sure the Agent or Supervisor application was closed (forcibly if necessary).
3) Restart the Cisco Desktop License and Resource Manager Service on all nodes in the HA cluster to clear any stuck sessions.
Remember though that anyone logged into the Supervisor application also uses a seat license!

App Store apps do not require serial numbers. Did you have another version of this app installed before you bought the MAS version? Did you properly remove the previous version before installing the MAS version?
If no, you will need to uninstall all of the current installation of Logic Pro and then download and install the MAS version again. Use an app remover, such as AppZapper, AppDelete or the free AppCleaner.
