I've recently bought adobe lightroom 5 just to find out that I cant get access to the lightroom mobile - is there a way to get refund and buy subscription?

As far as I know Lightroom Mobile is only available in the cloud version. You have to buy the subscription.

Is there CC training for Photoshop and Lightroom as I am looking to subscribe Train Simple.

I don't want to subscribe if Lightroom and Photoshop training is already available within CC. I have found some training videos from Adobe but I don't want to pay additional for something I can already get but can't find.

The 29.99 introductory offer is for existing CS customers ie customers with a CS3-CS6 product (suite or individual product).

Can't download old previously bought software to new computer or upgrade to Lightroom 5 without buying a new package!

Hello Support have emailed a request before but it goes via Forums which do not help.I have come overseas for a few months and must still work, and need to have access to download software I have previously bought as own as I have a new computer. I have 2 versions of Master Suite and just need to be able to download one. Particularly Photoshop and Adobe Acrobat. The Lightroom version 4 is on this computer.I have been trying for months just to upgrade to Lightroom 5 too, but there is no option for this, other than having a whole package? Your site no longer allows one to download old software when a new computer arrives. This is urgent,please help! - and the emailed form that was meant to come to me half an hour ago didnt' arrive at my inbox! thank you in advance

Lightroom 5 upgrade refundable if I subscribe to the Creative Cloud offer for Photoshop &

I recently upgraded to Lightroom 5 and then found out about the Creative Cloud offer for Photoshop &Lightroom for $9.99/month. Would I be eligible for a refund for my LR5 upgrade if I took up the 12 month subscription?

I am planning on buying Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5 ASAP but had a few questions before doing so.

Any help would be appreciated, as I could not find anywhere to contact the company to ask questions regarding Lightroom.
1. All of my photos (jpeg files) are on my computer hard drive and an external hard drive. Can they be easily imported into Lightroom?
2. A. After they are imported, do the photos remain in the original location as well (external hard drive/ hard drive)? B. If so, do they therefore take up twice the space on my PC?
3. Can I import jpeg images directly from my camera (or only raw files?)
4. I am planning on upgrading to an Mac computer in the near future. Can I take carry over the editing, rating, sorting of photos, etc. that I have done in Lightroom on my windows PC to the Mac computer when I get it or will I have to redo everything?
5. Can I open images from Lightroom in Photoshop Elements?
6. I can purchase Adobe Lightroom 5 without buying the Creative Cloud subscription, correct?
Again, I would appreciate some answers ASAP because I have photos that I need to sort for my work and cannot do so until I buy Lightroom or another software if necessary. Also, if there is a faster/better way to get questions answered please let me know (I'm new to Adobe.) Thanks!!!

If you want to have the photos stored on an external HD, you probably should move them there in your operating system before you import into Lightroom.
But, if you don't yet own an external HD, you can import from the internal hard drive and later move the photos to wherever you want them to be, as long as you do it properly.

Upgrading lightroom 4 to 5 - either buying an upgrade or using Creative Cloud

I have lightroom 4 and want to upgrade to 5. I can either buy an upgrade an install it on my Mac. But will I then have access to lightroom on my iPad through Creative Cloud and can I buy access and how much? Or I can get Creative Cloud/photograpy with both lightroom and Photoshop. But I don't need Photoshop and can't see I can get only lightroom. So can I get lightroom with lightroom on my iPad and just that and nothing else?
If I start with Creative Cloud/photography and don't want to continue, can I then go back to lightroom 4 and buy and upgrade to lightroom 5 and then just use lightroom on my Mac?

I have a serial number from the CD Rom for Lightroom 5 but I can't use the serial number to license the software I downloaded online.

I've recieved a free Adobe CD Rom for Adobe Lightroom 5 after buying a new Samsung Camera,
as I do not have a CD Rom department in my laptop, I've downloaded the Adobe Lightroom online.
After downloading, I was trying to license the software by the given serial number at the CD Rom, however it doesn't work.
Please kindly assist.

What exactly means "can't use" or "doesn't work"?
What is your operating system? Is the serial number on the package for Mac or Windows?

Licensed copy of Lightroom at end of CC subscription

I am currently trialling Creative Cloud (Photography package).
I currently own a licensed copy of Lightroom 5.5. If I subscribe and, during that subscription, Adobe updates Lightroom to Lightroom 6, what happens to my licensed copy?

Thanks for the fast response John. I'll give it a try. Follow Up. I "uninstalled" Lightroom but the cloud won't let me download another copy. Since there's no uninstaller with Lightroom i just deleted the app file. I was uncertain whether to delete the files listed as optional in the forum uninstall procedures - (actually was afraid to do it). Any suggestions?

Lightroom 5 to Lightroom CC or Lightroom 6 ?

I have bought Lightroom 5 and also am a subscriber for the Adobe CC.
I heard that Lightroom 6 has came out and so is Lightroom CC.
Questions:
1) What is the difference between Lightroom 6 and Lightroom CC ?
2) Should I upgrade to LR 5 or LR CC ?
3) On my Adobe icon Apps, there is a button which says TRY next to Lightroom CC. Since I am a Adobe CC subscriber (I am paying monthly subscription), can I know whether Lightroom CC comes free for me ?

Thanks 99jon, I tried that and the "Try" changed to" Install" ...
But after I shutdown & restart , the "Try" appeared back. (I didn't click install)
However, after shutting down a over a night and when I turn back on the computer, this time the "Install" button appear back ... so this time I quickly install it ...
When I first started the CC, there was a question whether I want to upgrade my Catalogue for LR6 ...
So, is LR6 the same as LR CC ?

I have never purchased Lightroom from Best Buy. But normally the serial number is not on the outside of the box. It is usually located inside the box. And it could be possible that you have a redemption code that has to be redeemed in order to get your serial number. A valid serial number has six groups of four numbers, and the first four numbers are always 1160.

Lightroom CC and Lightroom 5.7

I had LIghtroom 5-64 bit loaded and subscribed to Lightroom CC. Both are on my PC. It seems to toggle between, which one will open when a CF card is inserted. Is CC considered 64 bit? What should I do? Will Lightroom 5 continue to be supported? I get a note when I click on updates for Lightroom 5 to update, but it always goes to the CC version when I try to download.
The versions seem to be schizophrenic.

You should be able to keep both. How to prevent LR from starting when you insert a card depend on your operating system. On the Mac you need to launch Apple's Image Capture application when the card is inserted. On the lower left is a little drop down. Choose "do nothing". Unfortunately you have to do this for each card. I don't think there's a global setting. Worse, since I've updated to 10.10.3 every time I reformat a card Image Capture thinks it's a new card. Still working on a fix for that. If you have Windows I don't know how to do it but I'm sure a quick google will get you the answer.

What happens to Lightroom after my membership expires?

I'm considering whether I should purchase Lightroom 5 as a standalone, or subscribe to the photographer creative cloud.
The only reason I am hesitant towards the subscription, is the consequences of cancelling my membership or my membership expires.
Do I still have access to all the functions of Lightroom when my membership expires? Or do I lose ownership of everything?

You do not lose your images. They are yours, and will always be yours. If you decide to cancel your creative cloud subscription then the develop module of Lightroom will be completely disabled. You will not be able to use Lightroom to make any adjustments. If you are thinking of subscribing with the intent of canceling at a future date you might consider purchasing a standalone license. It is the same program. The only thing to consider is that every time there is a major upgrade (like from version 5 to version 6) it will be necessary for you to purchase the upgrade.
