Lightroom 5 with PS CC subscription

I purchased a Photoshop subscription which includes Bridge and Lightroom 5. When I start LR 5, it keeps on asking me for a serial number or allows me to work on demo mode , expiring in xx days. What can I do to solve this ?

Did you download and install the Lightroom trial version? If you did, it will be necessary for you to uninstall it. Then relaunch the creative cloud application and you will be able to install Lightroom from the CC.

Yes. Have you checked in your CC Desktop app to see if Lightroom CC is available for Install (and Photoshop should be showing Update). If it's not showing, sign-out of the app and sign back in again. Is Photoshop Touch included free with my CC subscription?

Is Photoshop Touch included free with my CC subscription? If so, how does that work? iTunes wants to charge me $9.99.

I Agree, that at the time this discussion took place, including it would have been more trouble that it is worth. However, now that it is late 2014 and the Creative Cloud app has launched, why isn't Photoshop Touch included as a download option in the CC app where my subscription could be easily verified (pretty sure that said verification occurs upon every launch of the app).
I am really hoping to be able to increase my mobility regarding my hobby digital photography ( I'm still holding on to traditional B&W wet process photography as my more comfortable realm, but the price of supplies greatly limits my freedom to shoot any and everything...(cue violins)...robbing myself, current and future generations of humanity, and other existent beings of the now and future, the full gift of what I can offer when fully prolific. (Crossfade violins to crickets chirping as images of a confused and uninterested group of spectators moves on to better things)
WIll I shell out the ten bucks if I have to? Yes.
Do I think I should have to? No.
Do I think Adobe should be comfortable with this situation at this time? Negative.
If it wasn't made clear by my earlier ramblings, I am still a bit of a Luddite. Therefore I feel it necessary to ask the question I probably should have led with. Do I already have the capability, via the apps included within the I Tunes Creative Cloud apps that are associated with my full suite license? Is this all much ado about nothing because I can already do everything Touch can do via the Lightroom, Premiere Clip, and the Aviary editor which all appear in my CC app as free downloads?
Answers to any part of this long winded oratory are greatly appreciated and thanked in advance.

Your photos remain in place, the catalog you have been using will remain. After you install Lightroom from the CC, all you have to do is open your existing catalog and continue right where you left off.

It worked perfectly for a while and then suddenly the other circle with a line attached to it where you can move it to a better spot stopped showing up. I uninstalled the software and re installed it again but it didn't fix the problem and its still the same. Help please.

Look at the dock connector on the iPod. Compare with the iPod that does work/connect.
I suspect you have a 2G iPod. Those can only go to iOS 4.2.1

My student has been using Lightroom 4 with Photoshop CS5 on her Mac for well over a year. Because of the difference between the Camera raw version available to her in Photoshop CS5 and the raw process in Lightroom 4, she has been exporting her raw images

My student has been using Lightroom 4 with Photoshop CS5 on her Mac for well over a year. Because of the difference between the Camera raw version available to her in Photoshop CS5 and the raw process in Lightroom 4, she has been exporting her raw images from Lightroom and choosing the "Render using Lightroom option when it popped up in the dialogue box. She has been doing this for over a year and a half without any problem. Today when she hit Command E no dialogue box appeared and the image just opened in Photoshop. I'm concerned that all of her Lightroom edits are not being rendered to Photoshop. Anyone have an idea as to how we can get the "Render using Lightroom" dialogue back?

Followed the instructions on the forum by using the CC Cleaner App for OSX. Have restarted a number of times and even tried using disk utility to fix any permission probs. Still no luck.

Lightroom 5 with CS5 Suite

I use the CS5 Design Standard Edition.
Now I thought about using Lightroom additionally, and acquire it.
I have read that Lightroom works with Camera Raw in Version 8.
Camera Raw in version 8 can not be applied to CS 5. But I do not want to update my CS5.
What can I do now? Should I use a prior version of Lightroom? Proposals for solutions would be reuqested and very much appreciated.

You can have Lightroom 5 installed alongside CS5, but opening RAW files in Photoshop from LR will be problematic.
You can get around this by choosing "Render using Lightroom" when you open it in Photoshop:

What is a raw file?
A raw file is the unprocessed data that was captured by your camera sensor when you took your picture. The only settings on your camera that apply to this file are aperture, shutter speed, and ISO. This means that any effects you may have applied to the file, such as white balance or black and white, may not appear in Lightroom. Your camera will create a JPEG copy of your raw file with all current settings applied and save that within the raw file for use as a thumbnail by most applications. When you first view a raw file in Lightroom, you will see this thumbnail, then Lightroom will read the raw data and create its own thumbnail, which may have a different appearance.
How does Lightroom work with raw camera files?
Lightroom interprets the raw data and makes image information out of it. But every camera has a unique sensor and thus has a unique form of raw file. Even though camera manufactures may use the same file extension each time (e.g. Nikon raw files are always .NEF), each camera model has a different way of storing information. Because of this, we must continually update Lightroom for new cameras. As we add new cameras to the list (over 300 now) we update our published list of supported cameras.

What if I own a previous version of Lightroom?
Supposing you have a camera that came out after the release of a newer version of Lightroom, so that your version of Elements is no longer recieving updates, you have two basic options:
Purchase the latest version of Lightroom that supports your camera.
Use the latest version of the free DNG Converter (for Macintosh or Windows)

The Develop module of Lightroom includes Lens Correction which can read what lens was used from the metadata. With this information it can pick a profile that will reduce distortion caused by the curvature of the lens. For a list of which lenses are supported by which camera bodies, see this list:

You should find it's usage noted in the new PCG user guide on page 3-26 under the heading "Configuring Workflow/Event Rules". This way you can have a Flow Rule call a business event component or a workflow. This would be kicked off within a process flow as one of the steps.

I'm doing a chemistry degree so as you can imagine, there are a lot of missing superscripts or subscripts through my text!
I just tried updating my iWork suite to newest version but the problem still persists.
