Lightroom 6 crashes everytime the app starts up

After finally realizing I had to uninstall Adobe CC, Photoshop and Lightroom in order to update to LR CC, I am no longer able to get Lightroom to run at all. The app will crash every time I try to run it. I have tried uninstalling it again, along with every other Adobe app, but the problem still persists. At this point I really have no idea what else I should do to get this to work...
Photoshop CC is running perfectly fine btw...
I'm using all of this with Windows 7 SP1 64bit.

Boot in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Be sure your Mac is shut down.
Press the power button.
Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on some Macs.
The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem(s)?
After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode.),.

Log in to icloud.com on a web browser with your Apple ID and disable FMiP there.

Firmware update 1.0 window appears everytime the MBP starts up.

After a succesfull firmware update the firmware update 1.0 windows appears everytime the MBP starts up.
It says: the firmware of the computer is updated to version 1.0.0. of the Mac Book Pro updater.

No I can't help you to make it dissapear but I would like to warn other users to perhaps wait for Apple to get their act together and create a firmware update that actually works and does not break machines...
After the upgrade of my MBP 2.16GHz the wifi interface will no longer connect to my WPA Personal protected network. Before the upgrade this would work flawlessly...

Numbers keeps crashing everytime when i start working on a worksheet

Since a few days Numbers keeps crashing when i start to work on a worksheet. And it doesn't matter if it's a template or a empty screen. I keep sending the reports to Cupertino.

I am also experiencing this problem since yesterday on two computers. I know exactly what caused the problem to start happening, because I replicated it on the second computer. Now I have to figure out how to fix it.
For the record, in case the iWork engineering team is watching:
1. I opened a Numbers document from iCloud.
2. I attempted to Duplicate that document by pressing Shift-Command-S.
3. The progress bar dialog appeared saying that it was duplicating the document, but the progress bar just got stuck. After an hour it was still there. Numbers had obviously hung.
4. I force-quit Numbers by option-control-clicking on its icon in the Dock.
5. Ever since, Numbers crashes on startup with the following message in the crash log:
*** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: '-[SFUDateFormat decimalPlaces]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x10014020'
6. I deleted all Numbers preference files from the Preferences folder. It didn't help.
7. I turned off Document & Data syncing in iCloud. It didn't help.
8. Opening the same document on another machine and repeating above caused the exact same thing to happen. It appears that there was some corruption about that document that caused Duplicate to fail. Immediately previously to this problem, I had Duplicated several other documents and saved them successfully.
The problem with Numbers is isolated to the user account I was using when I force quit the application. Numbers continues to work fine on other user accounts on the same machine.
Now I'm off to try a few solutions to get Numbers working again.

Illustrator crashes everytime the Swatch palette is used

I would create a new user account and log into that ad see if it still happens.
BTW have you installed any fonts recently or software or update any software?

Why is Windows 7 Aero in Firefox crashes after the Screensaver starts when I am in Last.fm?

When I am listening to some music in Last.fm and the screensaver starts, the aero in Firefox is gone when I come back to the pc. I am using Windows 7 32bit. I do not get a message that the flash pluggin is crashed or some other message...

I have a similar issue in that coming back from Screensaver mode Firefox freezes up and generally the computer has to be restarted to get Firefox to work again. All other programs appear to work fine (Word, Excel, etc.). Just the internet browser. I just tried this that someone posted on the web that made sense, but have not verified it yet (it will be verified either later tonight or tomorrow sometime). You might want to try it.
Go To Device Manager via your control panel
Expand USB (Universal Serial Bus) Controllers
Got to the Properties of Each USB Hub
Go to the Power Management Tab and Uncheck all options if any are checked (this essentially does not allow your computer to turn them off to save power when it wants to)
Click OK (go through each one and a few others check for any power management tabs)
Again do this for all USB Root Hubs (and ck any Generic Hubs you may have)
Reboot you computer
Hopefully it works for you and me!

When updating my apps most of the apps start to update but then fail to finish. then i gey the notification that the app cannot be downoded at this time. This has been going on for a bit now.

my apps are not updating when I try it starts to load then quits then i get the msg that the app cannot be downloaded at this time

First check that your device is not full, maybe you may have to delete some photos or apps to make space to do updates. if its not full then you will have to try pluging it into your pc/mac running itunes then doing a backup and restore. Then you should be able to do your updates.
Sorry but i cant think of any other way if its showing as installed already but is not there.

Lightroom keeps crashing now the library is corrupt and cannot be used - any idea why?

Lightroom is shutting itself down almost every 20 minutes. I have re-opened it and kept working then it happens again. I have re-started the PC and that helps but their seems to be something wrong. Have around 4000 photos in folders and then sub-folders. Any ideas? Have a two day old back-up that I can start using again on though I would love a way to restore / repair the corrupt version, which is held in a "CorruptDBs" folder.
Have been using Lightroom on a laptop for months without issue, now I have it on new PC, and this problem arises though only since the large number of images were imported (approx 4000).
Any suggestions welcome

I can't say why LR is crashing off hand, but I may be able to help out with the corrupt database:

CS6 Programs unstable Frequent crashes in the Apps

Just purchased the Creative Cloud subscription and unless I run all the programs in Admin mode I get ferquent crashes.
Dynamic Link does not work in Premiere and I cannot even import a PSD file into Premiere unless I start the program in Admin mode.
Is their a fix?
eg When importing a PSD file into Premiere I get " Adobe Media Core CS6 has stopped working" "APPCRASH PhotoshopServer.exe "
When sending a Premiere Sequence to Encore using Dynamic Link "Adobe Encore has stopped working" "APPCRASH Encore.exe"
Never had these issues with CS5 Master Suite.

As I said earlier such issues come up because of permissions , may be your CS5 files and folders have the correct permission however CS6 files and folders don't.
As you have Windows 7 , you may try to uninstall your CS6 , log in with the Hidden Admin account and then install the software.

Once you have installed the software in Admin account , login back in your normal standard account and then check.

I bought a subscription to the week on the apps store on my ipad mini and recently the app started freezing and wouldn't load. I deleted and reinstalled it and now I can't get into it at all without a password which I have not been given - what do I do?

Thanks for your reply. I was able to find help through a tech support chat session and the person helped me edit my /etc/hosts file and it solved the problem.
For anyone else experiencing this issue (Mac OS X):
Close all other programs and sign out from the Adobe Desktop App
From the Finder, Go > Go to Folder...
Type /etc and hit enter
Find "hosts" file (only "hosts", there were similar files such as hosts.config but only open the one that says "hosts"
Open the file, and replace the entire content with ### Host Database## localhost is used to configure the loopback interface#
Close the file, sign back into the Adobe Desktop App

My iPhone has recently been crashing (or rather the apps) when I would try to access my text messages, contacts, phonebook, facebook, or email. I tried restarting my phone and lost all of my contacts. This has been happening more and more frequently. Today I was in my pictures and was trying to crop one and my phone shut off completely. Anyone know what's wrong with it or how to fix it?

Make sure all apps are fully closed:
- double tap your home button
- hold your finger on an app
- when the apps start to wiggle press the red "-" button on all the apps
Now do a hard reset:
- hold the home button and the sleeps/wake button down at the same time
- the phone will shut off then when the apple logo ppears release both buttons
If by then your contacts have not been restored you would need to try and retreive them from a back up on itunes/icloud that was made when the contacts were on the phone. You could even stream them from the cloud if they were synced to the cloud. The link beow will show you how to restore from an itunes/icloud back up:
