Hi I purchased Lightroom 5 on March 29th and I understand I am entitled to a free upgrade to Lightroom 6 but I need the download URL and I assume a new license key.

If you purchased Lr 5 stand alone version, then your product is still under 30 day warranty. You can return Lr 5 and place a new order for Lr 6. Products

Verify that you signed in to the CC desktop app with the same Adobe ID you used to set up the subscription. If you haven't signed in, or if you signed in with a different Adobe ID, your installed software will not be associated with your subscription and you will get exactly the kinds of message you describe.

Check the system requirements. LR has different ones from PS and being able to install PS doesn't automaticalyl mean LR will work, too.

if you have a problem starting the download, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.
the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).
failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com or initiates the download of an incorrect (eg, current) version.

Download lightroom - download button is not working

Unfortunately my laptop was stolen and now that I have a new LPT, trying to download lightroom again. Went to the adobe website but the download button is not working. Also checked support online. It said to right click the button and select open in new window. Tried that too - no luck. Anyone have anyother advice.

Having problems downloading Photoshop - Lightroom downloaded just fine.

I purchased the Creative plan, which says it includes Photoshop CC and Lightroom 5. From the creative cloud desktop platform, I successfully downloaded Lightroom, but when I go to download Photoshop, it just sits at 0%. When I go to Adobe's website, it acts like I have to purchase Photoshop, but my account says it is included in the package I purchased. Help!

I am trying to download the lightroom trial and get to the installation and run procedure when this error 42 appears saying unable to access critical file/ directory please try installing again.... so i have and still no joy please help

SAngye.IJ are you currently logged in under a restricted account? If not and you are logged in under an administrator account then it is likely the file permissions under your current User account have become compromised.
I would recommend reviewing your installation logs to determine the location where the file permissions have become compromised. The serial number I was given is "invalid" when I try to install my Lightroom download.

I have a MacBook Pro 15" laptop PS CC, InD CC and Illust CC but cannot download Lightroom. The CC apps are running on an Intel chips, the mac is a 2006 model. Why won't Lightroom download if the other apps run just fine. and I can also access the Creativ

When I try to download Lightroom it tells me that it is no longer supported on the platform that Ii currently have. As stated I am using PS, InD and Illist all from the Creative Cloud without any problems, what gives?

When you say you get an error message running the MacOS x installer disc, is it when you boot on the CD or when you insert the disc in your SuperDrive during an open session? Have you tried booting from the CD and running the Apple Hardware Test? From your list of trouble, it looks like a bad RAM, or maybe a corrup hard drive sector, but it could be something else entirely. Next time you boot, try verbose (press Command-V right after the gong), you'll see every step of boot on screen, it'll give some indication as to what makes your MBP hang up. You can also try to run AppleJack in Single-User mode (first install AppleJack ; download from here : http://applejack.sourceforge.net/ ; install as admin is required ; boot in SU by pressing Command-S at the gong): it's done wonders on my machine more than once...
"Oh, one more thing"... Is there anything connected to your MBP via USB/Firewire/Bluetooth? If so, try and unplug/disconnect everything, then boot up, just so we can rule a bad driver out.

Photoshop and Lightroom Download

I recently signed up for CC and downloaded both Photoshop and Lightroom. I can't find them on my computer. Where should I look? They aren't in my downloads and there aren't any icons on my desktop.

I finally figured it out! I had to access each program (Photoshop and Lightroom) from Start - All Programs the very first time. Once I launched each of them from there, I have access to the programs and I pinned the icons to my task bar. Hope that helps!

The exit code you are receiving is due to a security patch which you need to install before you can install the C++ redistributable.

Lightroom Download Error?

I've been trying for days to download Lightroom and Photoshop I recently purchased with Creative Cloud, but everytime I begin download, at 41% it will extract files, and then either wait for eternity and stop, resume until 84% and freeze, or install with the following message. Please help - trying to complete Lightroom download

I have purchased Lightroom directly from Adobe as a download. I have literally spent hours trying to get this program downloaded to my macbook. My computer is new. I have tried to download to Safari, Firefox and Chrome. It seems to work best with Chrome but the end result is always the same. I get to the part where I must open the box to complete the installation. I go through all the steps and the message I receive is that the installation is complete. It all seems fine but there is no Lightroom anywhere on my computer! Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

What size is the lightroom download????

As an rsp owner I just downloaded lightroom and the download file was 25 megs.I read others say the download was 43 megs so why the big difference? Bob

Some downloaded both the Windows and Mac versions. The Windows version is 22.1MB.
