Lightroom 6 mobile sync not working

I have installed LR6 on Windows and it works fine. I have also installed the LR mobile version on a Nexus tablet which also works ok. However, I do not see any option on the desktop collections label to turn on sync to mobile for any collection. The icon is supposed to appear on on a collection when I hover.
What am I missing?

I am a Lightroom CC subscriber.
Found it. I neglected to turn on sync by clicking the arrow next to 'Lightroom' on the top of the page.

       i've been playing with Mavericks Server and so far everything is working smoothly except for the mobility sync...
    i successfully created a Local Network Account and was able to successfully sync it to the Server using AFP and a specific folder...
    This is working awesome, but here comes the issue:
    i setup another Local Network Account and assigned it to a Group and used Workgroup Manager (on the same server) to setup the mobility sync for the group...
    Now, when i try to login, the mobile profile gets created on the computer but does not sync to the server, it syncs locally instead or i get the error "The sync could not complete because your network home at "(null)" does not allow writing...
    if i try Profile Manager websiteit does not work either...
    i know this works for a single user, but if i want to sync it using groups it fails....
    I've tried finding a possible answer and so far nothing...
    Im using OS X Server 3.1.2 and Workgroup Manager 10.9 (421)
    Can you please help me out?

  • Wifi Sync not working on iOS 6 and iTunes 10.7 with iPhone 4S

    I am running Windows 7 64-bit but WiFi Sync is not working on either my iPhone 4S or my wife's iPhone 4S.  Worked fine before upgrading.  All settings look correct in iTunes 10.7 and on our iPhones 4S's.  Already tried uninstalling iTunes and all associated Apple programs (Bonjour, Apple Mobile Device Support, Apple Application Support, etc) and reinstalling iTunes but no help.  Temporarily disabling Norton Firewall did not help.  If I hook up either of our two 4S phones via USB wire, they Sync and Backup fine.  Just WiFi Sync not working.  Can't initiate sync from iPhones because button is ghosted stating it is waiting for PC to be present.  Phones don't show up under Devices in iTunes unless hard-wired via USB cable.  Any suggestions?

    I may have just solved my own problem. Right after posting this I googled bezel lightroom and found this: Flickr: Discussing The word 'bezel' appears in the taskbar. in Adobe Lightroom
    I changed the setting in the view menu and now everything appears to be working fine. I cannot explain why it stopped working before because I hadn't made any previous changes to the view options.
    Still am curious about the memory usage, though.

    none worked for me!
    I had already re booted, but I rebooted again, the phone, router, comp (iMac)
    I changed the name of my phone, I had a lot of hope riding on that idea, it sounded good, but (sigh) no go!
    finally I got it working
    this is what I did, I hope it works for you (at least on a Mac)
    open
    system preferences - Sharing
    I clicked on internet sharing, but did not 'tick' the box (mine was off & is still is off now)
    I 'ticked' the Wi-Fi tick box
    and got out of preferences (i did not 'tick' the internet sharing box, dunno if that is importiant, just what i did)
    my iphone 5 popped up in iTunes over Wi-Fi in like 5 seconds and has stayed there since i did a wifi sync
    happy days

  • The lightroom 4 brush is not working

    I installed  lightroom 4 trial program. But, the brush is not working. The brush only can make a dot but can't move the dot and change anything. Could you tell me how to fix the problem?

    Thank you for helping me. I do not know how to adjust the brush parameters to zero. I tell you what I have tried again but the brush is not moving.

    That sounds like it is working, Tony - remember that once you've painted where you want the effect of the brush to apply, you need to adjust the brush parameters, which all start off zeroed.
    If you want to see where you've applied the brush, press the (letter) "O".

    Generally signing out and signing in (signing out and back into the Creative Cloud application ) will fix this. If it isn't resolving the issue for you, let us know what you see and we can try something else.

    I am having an issue with active sync not working. I am looking for updates from my resource every 5 minutes for changes. My enviornment is such:
    IdM Version 5
    App server: Weblogic 8.1.6
    IdM is looking at AD (2003) for changes.

    When I run these search filters I get results from my AD. When IdM runs the search they are coming back blank. Any ideas?

    If you have changed environments... or for some other reason, your USN number on the AD resource could be lower than the number passed in the query.
    Manually edit a user in AD, and then check the USN number of the object. See if it is lower then the query is passing. If so, you can manually edit the IAPI_ResourceName configuration object and alter the USN number passed in the query.

    I"m afraid not. The iPad will be displaying only part of the ID, and Apple will not help you to find the owner's address (privacy laws). Without being able to reach the previous owner you will not be able to use the iPad.

  • Firefox Sync not working again!

    Hello.
    At a time when the sharing or sync'ing of information is so important, the current Firefox sync service is a disgraceful shambles. What makes this even worse, is your continuing refusal to get it properly sorted.
    As appears obvious from your Twitter feed, this has been going on since April 2013.
    Yet you expect mobile devices to adopt Firefox OS. Yet you can't even manage your current sync structure reliably.
    Chrome's sync'ing works easily and fine between my laptop and Android devices. It is also much simpler to set up.
    I find it hard to believe that you fail to prevent Firefox's slide. Enough daydreaming about new solutions, until you sort out the current mess called Sync.

    I have the same problem! For a long time Firefox is not synchronized at all! Please amend your this problem without this feature in Firefox Mobile for me is useless.

    Desktop Manager software v1.0.4 (build 10) Currently says I am updated.
    Worked the first time, when desktop override smartphone selected and appeared to worked for a couple of days then I started getting this error.  I did initially check out all the syncing, with trial contacts and events and had no problems for those first few days.
    I tried to FORGET DEVICE.  Worked the first time, again when desktop override, but then stops working again and get same error message.
    Only change was that I added another email account to the phone (mobile me account).
    The main reason I went with BB over the other phones from my provider was to sync my calendars and contacts and now it is not working and I have only had the phone a week. So frustrated.

    When you're stating the BlackBerry Desktop Software is not able to find the calendar, do you mean it is not listed in the list of Calendars in BlackBerry Desktop manager?
    Have you tried forgetting the device and then re-attempting the synchronization?
    Go into Device>Forget Device.
    Once completed close BlackBerry Desktop Manager and re-open and it will ask you to re-setup the synchronization and all calendars should be listed now.

  • Mobile Sync stopped working...a fix I think!

    Hi folks. My head has many briuses from banning it on the desk but I may have a fix that will restore some of the calendar probs we have had with update 9.1.79
    I have a Ph.D (poke and hope diploma) in computing, but I made this work.
    I have got my calendar to re-sync and lost the message of "Mobile Sync has stopped working" by doing the following.
    I called support and they gave me a link to remove ALL contents that i-tunes installs and there are many including Bonjour etc..

    Do exactrly as it says and remove everything. I had to restert my PC in safe mode (press F8 at start up) to get at a couple of files that needed the administrators permission to delete.
    I then restarted and had to delete the file itunes library.itl (I actually dragged it to my desk top from the directory C:/my name/Music/itunes
    This was because I installed the earlier version of itunes (9.0.1) and it could not read this file so i removed it.
    I then downloaded itunes version 9.0.1 and installed it.
    Started up itunes and did a sync and it worked!!!
    I hope this works for some one else. If so, go into settings and dissable Get automatic updates until Uncle Mac fixes the bug!!

    * Here is where my recommendation differs from others. *
    Do not update the DLLs under Windows System32 -- update the bad versions installed under Apple Mobile Device Support (on WinXP default location is: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support).
    1) I suggest renaming the bad (non-working DLLs) so that you can rollback in case of problems, e.g.:
    ssleay32.dllcould_bebad
    libeay32.dllcould_bebad
    2) Save the DLLs which are at the depositfiles link (http://depositfiles.com/files/92eig2pii) into your Apple MDS directory.
    WHY?
    In this way, you have not potentially corrupted other programs which make use of these DLLs (the versions under Windows system32), you have only corrected the versions used by Apple Mobile Device Support.
    (And it is easy to undo this change if it does not work for you.)

    I've tried a number of other solutions, and two previous ones (running diagnostics and copying the depositfiles DLLs to system32) worked for a one-time sync only. When I tried to resync following a successful sync, the calendar failed to update changes made on either side.
    This solution (dropping the depositfiles DLLs to the common folder:
    C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support
    worked with repeat attempts.
    (I too think that this getting ridiculous for Apple to say nothing about this problem. I mean, it's not like we're complaining about some hardly-used feature, or an uncommon application: it's Outlook calendar sync!)

  • Lightroom 6 mobile sync "waiting for connection"

    This seems to have been a problem for a while, I've never really used the Lightroom mobile sync but decided I would give it a try.  I have an iMac with the latest os version and a standard cable modem and network setup.  Lightroom just always says waiting for connection in the identity plate.  I'm wondering if it's a firewall issue or something, but I can't find any info on ports that need to be opened or anything like that.  My router uses upnp.  I've tried solutions I could find like deleting all data from online etc.  in Lightroom preferences.  Can you give me any help with this?  Thanks.

    I have updated, restarted etc etc and mine still wont actually sync - it says 'waiting for connection' but unlike others this isnt just a display bug - its not actually syncing at all with my laptop, which is very annoying.
    I have disabled all antivirus FWs etc - nothing.
    I am signed in - my details are shown etc as being signed in - but if I go to preferences and then 'lightroom mobile' it shows my Adobe ID as 'not signed in' - so if I click join it opens Adobe screen in Browser and brings up my account which am already signed into! cant do anything - cant even 'delete all data'
