Lightroom 6 mobile trial

I just bought lightroom 6 off amazon pc download. I'm a first time buyer, on top left corner near navigator tab a message reads I HAVE 29 DAYS OF LIGHTROOM MOBILE LEFT. What does that mean, and what happens after 29 days, will i be charged, will lightroom 6 on my pc be unusable? Please help, i hate to sound stupid, but i've never had lightroom before and im a bit confused.

Lightroom Mobile is an application they can be downloaded to your Apple or Android mobile device and enable you to work on your Lightroom images on that mobile device. You have a 29 day trial remaining, meaning that you can use Lightroom Mobile during that time. When that time expires, the only way you will be able to use it is if you decide to subscribe to a creative cloud subscription plan. You will not be charged any fee if you choose not to subscribe. It will simply not be possible for you to use the mobile features anymore.

  • Lightroom 6 "mobile trial expired"

Why am I getting this error message - see screenshot ("Lightroom mobile trial expired"). My understanding is that by design Lightroom 6 (contrary to Lightroom CC) does not include access to "Lightroom mobile".
Hope there is a way to get rid of this error message. Looks "ugly" in yellow against the "gray theme" of the Lightroom user interface.
    I upgraded from Lightroom 5.7

Mine hasn't expired yet, but I don't want it and would like to know how to remove it too!

  • Lightroom mobile trial - Adobe signed me up!?

I received an email from Adobe saying that I had signed up for a 30 day trial of Lightroom Mobile. I do not remember doing this. While I'd love to try this service at a later date, this is a busy time of year and I will not be able to take advantage of the trial. How can I get them to clear this trial from my account so that I can try Lr Mobile at another time?

    Hello keith.
That is not true Keith. If it is like you say I could not have the trial version and I had it during a month without any problem!

Margaret, Mobile is only available to CC subscribers because it needs the cloud as the mechanism for syncing between Lightroom and Lightroom Mobile.
Maybe they could say it more  explicitly, but the necessity of CC membership is pretty clearly implied (several times) by this page:

  • Lightroom Mobile trial recharge?

I clicked the "Lightroom Mobile Trial" long before it was available for Android, and subsequently my 30 days were wasted.  Now it's available for Android, and I can't try before I buy.  Is there any way I could get you to recharge the trial period so I can play with it?  Thanks!

  • Lightroom Mobile Trial Expired error

"Lightroom Mobile Trial Expired" error message. I have current CC LR/PS bundle. I've tried the standard things, nothing works so far.
I couldn't find a way to add to other threads, so I am starting a new discussion.

I started this trial before I bought my CC license.

  • Lightroom mobile trial expired issue

I have CC Master and in my installation of Lightroom, it only tells "Lightroom Mobile Trial Expired". Same in iPad. "Your trial period has ended"
I installed it way back almost right away, when it was announced. I also posted a note on a forum about this, and the guy said this would be fixed well before trial was over.
I mean: come on! Someone already said that this is a thing Adobe is working on and that it should be resolved well before trial period is over. Well it is not!
Could you please fix this. I am fed up with all the crap I have been having with CC subscription. Not the first time I have had issues with it. Once I spent two hours with chat tech support trying to fix something that should have been just working.
Crappy, crappy, crappy work, Adobe. I am losing my faith here, and I am not alone.

  • 25 days left in Lightroom mobile trial

Last week I purchased the upgrade version of Lightroom 6 for $79.00.
I did not sign up for the $9.99 per month subscription for CC.
I downloaded and installed the LR software.
When I run my new LR software, in the upper left corner there is a message that says, "25 days left in Lightroom mobile trial"
I did not download a trial version, I purchased the full version. Can you explain why the message?

You can also use the Lr Mobile service for 30 days as a trial without switching to Lr CC. - Guido

  • Why do I get LR Mobile trial expired msg as CC Photography member?

Hi everyone, I keep getting "trial expired" message for Lightroom Mobile on both the ipad and desktop versions despite having subscribed to the Adobe CC Photography programme yesterday and I know that this programme includes LR mobile.
Customer services couldn't assist and said I should contact the Technical team which doesn't work during the weekend.. Can anyone help me please? I'm sure I'm not alone with this issue. I already had Lightroom 5 prior to joining CC Photography and successfully also completed a LR mobile trial.

Please read this aritcle ...Lightroom mobile unavailable to Education memberships | Kivuto
Creative Cloud memberships purchased from third-party (Kivuto) do not provide access to Creative Cloud services, including Lightroom mobile.
These memberships are Desktop Product only and are made available free to Students when their school is part of an EEA contract deal with Adobe.

  • Lightroom 2.6 trial download - how to build a catalog from scratch.

I have downloaded Lightroom 2.6 trial version and am trying to build a small catalog for it.  I don't need my whole Photoshop Elements 8 (PSE 8) catalog, but I would like to build a small catalog out of images in the My Pictures folder so that I can experiment with this software.  It recognizes the existence of my old PSE 6 catalog, but says it is corrupt and ask about building a new catalog. It will not recognize my PSE 8 catalog.  How do I go about bypassing this "catalog recognition step" and go right to that part of the software that will let me build a catalog from the images contained in various folders in the My Pictures main folder.  Unless I can get to the part where I can build a catalog to test out LR 2.6, then I am stuffed (as the Aussies would say) as far as testing this product.  Maybe I need to download the Lightroom 3 Beta and see if it will recognize my PSE 8 catalog.  Any suggestions, insight on how to resolve this dilemma are greatly appreciated.  Thanks.
    Regards,
    WesternGuy

When I bring up LR, it asks me if I want to buy or try...so to speak, I check off <try> and the <Next> and <Back> buttons are immediately greyed out and the only thing I can do is click on <Finish> or <Cancel>.  If I click on <Finish>,  It tells me that "the Lightroom catalog named "catalog" cannot be opened because it is not valid. Would you like to select a different catalog".  The catalog is not registered as a valid catalog."  It tells me where this invalid catalog is and then I have a choice of buttons that ask me to "choose a different catalog" or another button that says "Exit".  If  I select "choose a different catalog, then it asks for a location and gives me a button that says "Create a new catalog", it then goes to the My Pictures folder inside a panel that has at the top "Create folder with New Catalog" and then I don't seem to be able to do anything it likes. I never get to a menu that gives me the "File/New Catalog" option.(???)
Maybe I need to uninstall and reinstall LR2.6.

    WesternGuy

  • Help!! How do you retrieve photos from Lightroom after the trial ends??

Hi, I was trialing the latest version of Lightroom and the trial period expired.. I have never used Adobe products before and I didn't realise I wouldn't be able to retrieve the photos after the trial ended! The photos are needed for an assignment for Uni that is due tomorrow!!
Is there ANY way to get the photos back??? Thank you!
    Francesca

As Dorin says, your pictures are still there.  Lightroom never modifies your images, so they're still there in whatever format you imported them.  If you don't have use of Lightroom, you don't have access to the changes you've made to your images in Lightroom unless, while you still have use of Lightroom:
You export the images (to TIF or JPEG)
In Edit menu, catalog settings, metadata tab, you check "Automatically write changes into XMP", in which case the changes are written into the XMP sidecar files, which can be read by ACR in Photoshop (or Elements, I think).
To get yourself out of a fix, as c.frans says, download the LR4.1 RC2 version.  This requires no serial number but it will time out in June, I think so remember to do one of the two options I mentioned above before then.

  • I'm running Lightroom 4.0 (trial) but every few launches, it forgets all my presets...

I'm running Lightroom 4.0 (trial) but every few launches, it forgets all my presets (develop/export/...) and shows me the initial tutorial again. How can I fix this?

    Try this:
Check if in Preferences / Presets tab the box <Store presets with catalog> is checked. If it is your presets are not stored in the default location, where Lr looks for presets but next to the catalog.
    Uncheck the box.
