Lightroom cc 2015 does not start
Installed Adobe lightroom cc 2015 a half an hour ago. Unfortunately it does not start. No error message - just nothing. Tried various compatibility modes. I'm logged into Win 8.1 with admin rights. Does anybody have an idea?
Try signing out of the Creative Cloud app and then sign back in.
1) Click on the gear icon.
2) Select 'Preferences' and then sign out in the 'General' tab.
3) Sign back in.
4) Retry launching LR CC.

Once Signed in , click on Apps tab and load Apps list .
Locate Lightroom cc 2015 option under apps tab menu and double click on it. -

Lightroom CC 2015 will not start
Downloaded and installed Lightroom CC 2015 on PC running Windows 8.1. The program would not start with all usual methods. Restarted computer several times and also uninstalled and reinstalled Lightroom CC 2015. It should be noted that Lightroom 5.7.1 seems to operate normally. I see one other person has experienced similar problems. Any help would be appreciated.
The solution for most folks is to open their Creative Cloud App, click the gear, click Preferences, Sign Out and then Sign back in.

Lightroom 5.6 does not start
Hello,
just bought Adobe CC 2014 with Lightroom & Photoshop. Photoshop installation worked without any problems, but Lightroom doesn't launch.
What I tried:
- deinstall and reinstall via Cloud
- deinstall, download install file and "manually" install
Still the same, it's not launching. I'd like to start working with that today, any tips what else I could try?

EvaOkay, Solution 1 from this link Error "Unable to start correctly - 0Xc00007b" fixed it for me. But now it's asking me for the serial number which I can't find anywhere... shouldn't that go without with the cloud?

I installed the new version of LIghtroom (2015) from Creative Cloud. Creative Cloud says I successfully installed the new version. However, the shortcut icon that was installed does not start the new version. I've also gone to the properties link itself but, no success in starting. How do I launch the new version?

After installing lightroom CC you need to log out from the Creative Cloud and once again Sign in.
Do this by:
Preferences>Account>Log out from the Creative Cloud.

Downlod lightroom does not start
i am using windows 7 on my computer and i tried to download a trial version of adobe photo lightroom 4. When i want to start download the program does not start downloading what do i wrong?
Have you tried a different web browser? It is likely your plug-ins, toolbars, or security settings are interferring with the download process.

You suggest now I should click on the repair button. When I do so, the catalog will be overwritten, or I can choose not to overwrite and than the catalog will be twice as big. So I decided not to click on the repair button. When I see afterwards that some functions do not work anymore, I allways can use the repair button. As far as I can see now nothing is lost.. )
As far as I understood it is only possible to repair with a backup. Happily I made that allways, but I am afraid to use it, for the reason above.
When I have more time to spare, I will look for all the foto's from the apps of my cellphone and delete them.
Now I can finish my fotowork, what I had started before, and make Photoshop Elements again the main fotoprogram on my desktop.

PS CC 2014 does not start up correctly
hi,
I'm trying to rum PS CC 2014. After starting it stops quickly giving the message "could not initialize Photoshop due to a program error". I tried all not to technical things like reinstalling, logging of, ... Even tried to find the install log but couldn't find it.
Lightroom runs perfect. Had the same problem with PS CC previous version. Did use CS5 because I had no time to solve the problem. Now I m eager to use PS CC but it does not start up.
Anybody?
thanks!make sure you have no 3rd party plugins starting and reset your preferences by holding down shift-ctrl-alt (win) or shift-cmd-alt (mac) while starting ps. if done correctly, you'll see a confirmation dialog.

(AVG removed file. Re-installed java in: S:\Java\re1.8.0_31
In registry: file-paths seem to be okay (regedit find: javaws, Java Web Start)
Can't find a solution on-line.
What to do?
It is a dedicated production server managed by remote desktop (Leaseweb.com, ip: [37.48.64.130])

The point is the event-viewer is not working. Because the eventlog-process is not running/starting. Because JavaWS-process isn't starting

i've been trying to dowload lightroom 4 for more than a week. the download does not start and when i try to buy the program i get a "error with your order message" any idea what i should try next??
