Lightroom doesn't appear on creative cloud

i have the photography package for adobe and my pc meets all requirements to download what can i do.I have the trial and it expired so i joined the cc and pay monthly. But lightroom doesnt appear on the creative cloud desktop app. How can i get lightroom to download if it doesnt appear on there.

Do you mean that you have the Lightroom perpetual-licence version installed? As you've found, the CC app isn't smart enough to detect that. There is no difference between the perpetual-licence version and the CC version except the licence, but if you want to switch to the CC version, you will have to install it again via the CC installer, and yes, it will download the whole G byte of code, and install the identical code over your existing installation, keeping your existing catalog, preferences etc but changing the licence. As the code is identical, it doesn't make any difference whether you switch to the CC version (which I did) or stay with the perpetual-licence version. It will matter only when LR6 comes, which will be free with CC but which you'll have to pay for with the perpetual licence.
Some people have reported that you have to remove the perpetual-licence version before installing with the CC app, but I didn't.
Once you've done that, then you can update it (if there are any further 5.x updates) either by downloading and installing the perpetual-licence version or via the CC app, and it keeps the CC licence.
No, it doesn't really make sense to me either. What you need to remember is that the CC app and installer, and indeed the whole infrastructure behind CC is a bit hokey. I think it was written by an intern.

AE being a no-show means your system doesn't meet the requirements. Refer to the Tech Specs on the product page.

Trial version of Lightroom doesn't recognise my creative cloud membership!

I downloaded the trial version of lightroom and then joined creative cloud. Now everytime I launch lightroom it asks me to register. How do I get lightroom to recognise that I have creative cloud membership?

I have removed lightroom (by putting it into trash) but when I try to download through adobe download manager lightroom doesn't appear in the adobe download manager screen despite Lightroom being available to download in the apps screen. Scout doesn't appear in Creative Cloud

I tried a lot to download Adobe Scout from website but it opens the Apps tab in Creative Cloud. I searched for Scout in it and its not there. A friend of mine in another country have Scout downloaded from Creative Cloud lend me his username and password but the same the Scout application didn't appear.

How can i download LR5? i tried on internet explorer and chrome. It doesn't appear on Creative Cloud

no matter what i try, Creative Cloud pops up and has the list of apps but lightroom 5 is nowhere to be found. i just bought Photoshop CC, and Lightroom 5. I had the trail for photoshop cc, and i believe i have the full version of it now. but light room 5 isn't even listed as an app. someone please help me

But Lightroom doesn’t appear in my cc desktop app. I have a macbook pro from 2012 with 2,5 GHz Intel Core i5 processor and the latest Version of Mac OS X (10.9.2). The trial version of lightroom I installed before purchasing the membership worked perfect. What should i do?

Do you have beta(trial version) installed for light room? If yes, then uninstall it completely by checking the preference boxes too.
Now restart the computer & download & install from the CC desktop App. It should work.

Need to download Lightroom CS6 that is NOT creative cloud.

I need hoping to get a downloadable version of Adobe Lightroom CS6 (that is not creative cloud) to activate with my product code. My brother helped me purchase adobe lightroom, he is an Adobe employee, last year. I had downloaded Lightroom application at that time and saved it to my external hard drive to install on my computer at a later date. Well it turns out I lost my external hard drive!
I have my product key and confirmation email, but can't seem to find a proper downloadable version of Lightroom that will work with my CS6 product code. I tried to download the creative cloud version of lightroom that's from the adobe website, but my code doesn't work with it. I can't seem to find any another lightroom download available that actually installs to my computer (I assume this is probably because of all those Adobe PIRATES!)
Please let me know if you can help - I have my product key and everything! Thanks!

This has nothing to do with your pictures. As long as LR works, nothing happens. The CC app merely has lost an entry in the installer database. Would a reinstall fix it? Sure. Is it necessary? Not really (until the next version or update). So unless you have too much time to spend or something isn't working, I'm sure you can find more interesting things to do with your tiem. Otherwise use the cleaner tool and get to it:

Lightroom not showing up in Creative Cloud "your apps" list with others, thus is not updating

I use several Adobe programs, among them Lightroom. However, in my Creative Cloud window, accessible in the header bar on my desktop, the other apps show up under "Your Apps", but not Lightroom 5. Therefore, it is not updating to 5.2. How can this be remedied? I've tried updating it manually, but it was unsuccessful.
(Also, is there ANY phone or email tech support with an Adobe application support employee? I cannot find either, which is frustrating being a paying monthly member.)

Justimy are you stating you are unable to see Lightroom listed in the Creative Cloud desktop application? Is so please see CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/aam-lists-removed-apps-date.html for information on how to restore Photoshop Lightroom as being listed.
Please do be aware that this will not affect the Photoshop Lightroom 5.2 update being available. You will want to trigger the Lightroom update from within the Photoshop Lightroom application. Photoshop Lightroom utilizes different technology than the majority of the Creative Cloud application offerings which is why it is necessary to utilize a different workflow to obtain the update.

I assume by PostScript fonts you really mean Type 1 fonts. (TrueType and OpenType fonts are every bit as much "PostScript fonts" as Type 1 fonts are!)
There is a known problem with the CS3 applications with all Type 1 fonts under all Windows Vista 64-bit and Windows 7 64-bit versions when such fonts are installed in the Windows System Font directory. The problem is fixed in CS4.
The workaround is to copy all the Type 1 font files (both the .PFB and the .PFM files - each Type 1 font has one .PFB and one .PFM file) to the Creative Suite's private font directory. Depending upon the CS version, that may be in
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Fonts
or
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Fonts
Restart the Creative Suite programs you are using and the fonts should appear.
You may also copy said fonts into the private font directories of the individual applications (typically a directory path ending with the node name Fonts.

Of course you should use it.
Bridge is an integral part of Photoshop, even though it now acts like a separate application. In its first iterations, Bridge was called simply The Photoshop File Browser. That is all it is, a file browser that shows you what files you have, and which hands your files to the appropriate application, whether that be Photoshop, Camera Raw, Lightroom, Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign or even MS Word.
Bridge does not open, edit manipulate or save any files.

They said that their Creative Cloud Connection app would be ready in May/June, and here we are in October!

They have a single use subscription for $20/mo. Similar to upgrading extended version every 1.5 years.

Same problem if you own it. If upgrade price is $400 every 1.5 year that is same as $16/month. You can choose not to update and version will be same as when you last used it.
