Lightroom export sequence number automatic increment and update

I'm exporting to hard disk using the name-sequencenumber option. When exporting multiple times, Lightroom does not seem to remember what sequence number it last used. Is there a configuration option somewhere to let Lightroom keep track of the sequence numbers used? For example, I have a set of 20 photos that I export. I set the name to X and the sequence number to 1000. So, the first export adds them to my destination folder numbers X-1000 through X-1019. Now, I import another batch of say 30 photos. When I go to export those, I get a warning that there are duplicate file names since Lightroom is starting over at 1000 again instead of 1020. I don't want to enter a new sequence number every time I export. Is there a way for Lightroom to remember the last sequence number it used?

AFAIK, you have to enter the sequence number with every export.

  • I have Firefox set to check for updates but do not install, just notify. WHen I start Yahoo email, F automatically downloads and updates anyway.

I have FF set to check for but do not install updates. When I start yahoo email, FF automatically instals updates. I am only user/administartor. How do I make this stop? It is messing up other programs - destroyed my Norton security.

Usually, the "notify" setting works fine. I don't know whether having Yahoo as the home page makes a difference. ??
Updates are available for your Norton add-ons. Please see this article: [http://community.norton.com/t5/Norton-Toolbar-Norton-Identity/Firefox-15-Support-for-Norton-Toolbar/td-p/791174 Firefox 15 Support for Norton Toolbar - Norton Community].
(Firefox probably can't find those automatically because the updates arrive through Norton LiveUpdate instead of the Mozilla add-ons site.)

  • ISP has floating IP and changes several times a day - how do I set Foxfire to automatically detect and update the IP when I attempt to open the browser?

If I log off my ISP automatically changes the IP address, when I used Windows Explorer I was able to tell it to automatically detect the new IP so I did not have a problem. With Foxfire I have to manually go out get the new IP and then open the browser - this is a PIA.

When entering the URL either as your home page or new tab page, I suggest using the full URL https://www.google.com/ since otherwise there is a slight delay as Google redirects Firefox to the secure page.

  • Sequence number adjustment in the column

    In my table maintenance generator,
I have one field called sequence number which increments by '1', each time user enters a new record in my table maintenance generator(have coded in such a way).
now the internal table, under sequence column if some records get deleted,
then the numbering of that column should be adjusted automatically.
    Like
    1st record -     1 A B D
    2nd record -     2 A B C
    3rd record -     3 A B D
    4th record -     4 A B C
    5th record -     5 E D F
If some user deletes 3rd record , then instead of showing the TMG as below
    1st record -     1  A B D
    2nd record -     2  A B C
    3th record -     4  A B C
    4th record -     5  E D F
the TMG should should show  as
(I need that to be sequence column adjusted as )
    1st record -     1  A B D
    2nd record -     2  A B C
    3th record -     3  A B C
    4th record -     4  E D F
My thought is to write on new module in PAI,
and buils the logic in case of syst-ucomm = 'DELE'.
Please suggest me any function module availble or any good logic for this
    Thanks in ADV.

This really isn't the way the TMG was meant to be used. Normally, one just uses it to manually add change or remove individual records, not a number of records based on some logic. It would probably be simpler to build a simple dynpro to take care of this.

On last friday... the latest archive log number was ARC00024.ARC. Tomorrow when I come backup, the archive logs ARC00001.ARC and ARC00002.ARC were being generated by oracle itself. I wondering the archive log sequence should be in sequence. What is happening?

  • How is the next repository sequence number determined?

I'm in Fusion Middleware activating an RPD file that is sitting in a directory all by itself. When I click Apply, the name of the RPD file plus a sequence number, such as _BI014, is shown as the new repository name.
Where does FMC look to determine that the last sequence number used was 13, so this one should be 14? Where is that little tidbit of information stored?

    Hi Mark,
Refer to this article from Rittman, where he clearly explained what happens in the background upon clicking on Apply button:
    From the Article:
"Apply button, to save the changes. At this point, the RPD gets a sequence number after it, and it’s displayed as the current default online repository for the Oracle BI Domain.
So what’s gone on in the background to make this happen? When you press the Apply button, another MBean method gets called; this time, the uploadRepository method from the oracle.biee.admin:type=BIDomain.BIInstance.ServerConfiguration,biInstance=coreapplication, group=Service MBean.
This MBean takes the two parameters that you entered into Enterprise Manager, or that you can enter directly into the MBean Browser yourself:
When you call then method, it reads the value of the DataZipFileVersion attribute within the oracle.biee.local:Location=bi_server1,type=DomainConfigProxy,group=Config MBean, and increments it by one, to get the sequence number it appends to the RPD file name.
Once the uploadRepository method is called, you can see the name of the uploaded repository in the MBean’s Repository Name attribute"

Pesky Oracle Thanks guys for your help
FWIW, and for your future understanding, you didn't actually have to *start* the database with the pfile in order to create the spfile.
In this example, I don't even have a database named fubar ...
    oracle:fubar$ pwd
    /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/db_1/dbs

  • Need SQL statement to generate a sequence number in the output rows

Hi folks. I need to create an SQL statement that generates a sequence number column in the output rows (records) such that the first returned row has this column set to 1, second returned row has the column set to 2, etc.
    For example, consider the query:
    SELECT income from employees WHERE income != 20000 ORDER BY income;
If employees.income contains 60,000, 20,000, 35,000, and 19,000 for respective rows, the output would be this:
    19,000
    35,000
    60,000
I would like the SQL to also return a sequence number that is computed across the returned rows, resulting in two output columns:
    1 19,000
    2 35,000
    3 60,000
Is there a simple SQL function that generates the sequence number, in order, and only for the returned rows? Or is there another way?
I'm stumped. Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

    Hi,
    Welcome to the forum!
    Use ROWNUM, like (example):
Connected to Oracle Database 10g Express Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0
    Connected as hr
    SQL> select rownum, first_name from (select e.first_name from employees e where e.first_name like 'J%' order by e.first_name);
        ROWNUM FIRST_NAME
             1 Jack
             2 James
             3 James
             4 Janette
             5 Jason
             6 Jean
             7 Jennifer
             8 Jennifer
             9 John
            10 John
            11 John
            12 Jonathon
            13 Jose Manuel
            14 Joshua
            15 Julia
            16 Julia
    16 rows selected
SQL> But rememeber if you want to be sure of unique numbers in certain field is better to use sequences and use seq_name.nextval each time you need.

  • AIF automatic profile and extlinux?

I wanted to ask if the new change of selecting between grub and extlinux in AIF will also influence the automatic profile?
I haven't tested one of the tests builds yet, as I have no need for a reinstall currently, but I just wanted to know out of sheer curiousness, so that I know it the next time I need to reinstall, as I always use the automatic AIF profile...
To reiterate my question, then i'm reffering to that several AIF system files have been changed, including the interactive profile, but I couldn't see any changes being made to either the automatic profile or it's example scripts, which currently is setup for grub only...
    Thanks in advance!

...Polite bump in the hope that dieter will notice it, as i'm not feeling confident about bothering him privatelly...
Btw, i'm just asking if there are any plans for adding extlinux support to the automatic profile(and update the example scripts), or if there isn't?
I'm not complaining at all, and don't mind grub legacy whatsoever, but just simply curious?
    Thanks in advance,
    Martin.

  • Retrieve and update dynamic data

    Dear
Please advise if ECM provides the ability to retrieve and update dynamic data on demand to ensure the user’s content is current

The Question is quite vague. Very hard to answer a question when you do not know what they are asking.
As to automatic indexing and updates of data to files and the impact of indexing:
A file checked into UCM server is indexed based upon the system setting. A server could be set to DATABASE.METADATA indexing or some kind of full text indexing. Either way if a file is checked into the Content Server the file gets indexed. If any metadata is changed by a later update the index is indeed updated automatically. If the file in a full text indexed system has a set of text edited or a totally different file is checked in the index is updated automatically also.
