'Lightroom has stopped Working ' - Fuji .RAF files - Anyone else?
I'm generally enjoying using the Beta version (especially the new Development Sliders) - but while the above error message has occured
only rarely when processing .CRW RAW files, it occurs most of the time when trying to work with Fuji .RAF RAW files from my X10. Almost any attempted use of the
Develop Mode causes the program to stop working. My computer has 8GB RAM - Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and Intel Core Duo 3.06 GHz processor.
Anybody have any similar issue or comments? No problems occur with my 3.6 Version.
I am looking forward to the Final Version 4. Thanks for all your know-how and efforts with this program.
I have a very similar problem with psd files, less frequent with dng. LR4 is uses 50% of available cpu cycles. System is similar with 6GB memory.

HELP!! Lightroom has stopped working.
Just added serial number to my trial program & it was loading & working just fine for a couple minutes & then all of a sudden it just closed & stopped working. When I go to open it now it says "Lightroom has stopped working" check online or close program, but it doesn't do anything when I go to check online. also when I view program details...it says the even was APPCRASH. Does anyone know what happened. I assume yes, something crashed. But I tried uninstalling & reinstalling & it is still doing it! Can somebody help!!!??? Please?
Open a Windows Explorer, and navigate to the following directory:
"Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Lightroom\Preferences\"
In there, you'll see a file called "Lightroom 3 Preferences.agprefs". Rename this file to "Lightroom 3 Preferences.agprefs.old", then start LR.

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom has stopped working error
Updated to latest CC version - everything worked as expected for a couple of days - earlier this afternoon LR started (and continues) to crash. "Adobe Photoshop Lightroom has stopped working" error - I followed various bits of support instructions - uninstalling - re-installing - signing out and back in - downloaded and engaged "Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool" - now, several hours later, the problem has not been resolved - I urgently need to get back to my project. Unfortunately, I even followed the thread that instructed to uninstall the previous 5.7.1 version.
Please assist asap - regards KalliDid not tinker with any of the setting options in the preference dialog. Just installed and worked successfully for a couple of days using the default settings.
Since the first crash some hours ago, LR has not stayed open making it impossible to try different settings.
The default install provided a fully working app - I tried out the new feature and soon after went back to my project.
Could the fact that I uninstalled the previous - 5.7.? version have anything to do with this?
How can I re-install the previous version at it was stable?
Do any of you have any answers?
And / or do you know how to engage Adobe?
Thanks - Kalli -
"Edit in Photoshop" link from Lightroom has stopped working.
My "Edit in Photoshop" link from Lightroom has stopped working. If I hit "Cmd E" in Lightroom, Photoshop opens, but the picture doesn't appear. I have LR 5 and PS CC 2014. I recently uninstalled or deleted PS 6 & PS CC (not PS CC 2014). Any suggestions?
Same problem here. I uninstalled Photoshop CS5 and reinstalled. No change. I also tried dumping PS preferences
It opens the Photoshop application with all the menus/windows, but it never opens the actual image I chose to work on.
I'm on a Mac, using OS X Yosemite, 10.10.1 Lightroom is version 5.7 Photoshop is CS5, version 12.0.4
FWIW, I also can't automate>Photomerge ... . Makes me think Photoshop, not Lightroom, is all wacky. -
Hi all,
Can any one find a solution to this problem [ID CC 2014 has stopped working] for this file{Dropbox - Questions CH-5 .indd}

I cannot open lightroom "lightroom has stopped working" error message
I'm having what sounds to be the same issue. May I ask what version you were running? I'm using 4.1... And more importantly, have you figured out a solution?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I cannot back up - get message that "organizer has stopped working-a problem caused the program to stop working". Is there anyone I can talk to at Adobe???
If it is a Windows System then the error could be temporary. To resolve this, reboot the machine and try again or login as Administrator and try to backup using that account.

Select "Develop" and "Lightroom has stopped working"
First off I'm new to Lightroom. I moved up from Elements.
I upgraded to 3.4 and now when I select "develop" Lightroom stops working.
Any ideas?
I'm running windows 7 home 64 bit all updates are current.
I have a small ssd for a hard drive and therefore removed the old 3.2 directory after the upgrade.
I have 6gig of memory and an AMD quad core phenom II 3.4GHz.
I have an Nvidia Gforce GT 430 graphics card driver version 270.61From the application event log.
Windows cannot access the file for one of the following reasons: there is a problem with the network connection, the disk that the file is stored on, or the storage drivers installed on this computer; or the disk is missing. Windows closed the program Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 64-bit because of this error.

The error value is listed in the Additional Data section.
User Action
1. Open the file again. This situation might be a temporary problem that corrects itself when the program runs again.
2. If the file still cannot be accessed and
- It is on the network, your network administrator should verify that there is not a problem with the network and that the server can be contacted.
- It is on a removable disk, for example, a floppy disk or CD-ROM, verify that the disk is fully inserted into the computer.
3. Check and repair the file system by running CHKDSK. To run CHKDSK, click Start, click Run, type CMD, and then click OK. At the command prompt, type CHKDSK /F, and then press ENTER.
4. If the problem persists, restore the file from a backup copy.
5. Determine whether other files on the same disk can be opened. If not, the disk might be damaged. If it is a hard disk, contact your administrator or computer hardware vendor for further assistance.

Adobe Photoshop Lightroom has stopped working
Message appears at start up. It continues - A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available. I have not gotten any Windows notifications. I have reinstalled Lightroom 5.3, which says it will fix problems. What type of problems cause this and how to fix?
System problems / drivers...
If Lr used to work, try rolling back your system from a backup.
If not feasible, then try doing hardware checks and updating drivers..
(maybe sneak a peek in the windows event log).

My iTunes just stopped working!!! Anyone else in the same boat?
I am running windows XP home with Service Pack 3.
I click on the iTunes desktop icon as I always have and I see the hourglass but no response.
I have tried to troubleshoot with Apple iTunes support and nothing.
I have followed instructions from online support and nothing.
Uninstalled and reinstalled as per Apple troubleshooting instructions and nothing.
Even the Apple tech seemed stunned saying something is wrong with the computer.
My computer is fine...I have not added or changed anything to it aside from the iTunes updates.
Is Apple going to fix this or tell us what is going on?
Has anyone else figured it out?
Thanks in advance for any replies! It's not the iphones, it's more likely one or more of your programs causing this issue. It's not the iPhone 6's. The possibility of you getting 2 bad iphones from different batches is extremely remote or you have the worst luck on the planet. lol If one iPhone has it, then you get a new one and the same problem comes up again, it's most likely due to an issue with a program that you keep getting back from restoring an old backup. Restore the iphone again and set up as a new iphone. Then manually import your music and your photos. Once that's done, try to use your iphone to see if everything is ok. If it works good for a few days, then try to add some of the apps. At some point, you'll end up loading the malicious app and the problem may come back. Make sure that the apps are all updated. If you still have problems, call Apple so that they can run a diagnostic report and find out which app is causing this issue. Then you can simply delete it and/or update the app. More solutions are available but that's all I will post for now.

The "open in iBooks" prompt was working just fine until last night..but when I tried the same today on a PDF file (as usual..) ..it did not work:(
That issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

"Lightroom has stopped working"
I have just installed the trial version of lightroom, After thrying to import a new folder, it shut down and gives me this message. I have gotten rid of everything to do with lightroom and reinstalled, still the same pathway comes up at start up and I keep getting the message. I understand it has something to do with the way I tried to bring in the folder, but for now I just really want to try to get this running again.
If you see a black banner with the message "Lightroom - Opening Catalog: xxxxx.yyy.lrcat" (like abcd.jpg.lrcat), try this:

"Lightroom has stopped working" error message
I recently built a new computer. When I did I had to bring my catalogs from my old hard drive over so that my lightroom was complete. I am currently running lightroom 4.4. I personally think this is a catalog issue but I do not know how to resolve it. The error message comes whenever it seems to want. Sometimes right when I open it, sometimes an hour in, sometimes 10 minutes in.
When I search lightroom on my computer this what i get:
There seems to be too many lightroom to me...HELP!I'm having what sounds to be the same issue. May I ask what version you were running? I'm using 4.1... And more importantly, have you figured out a solution?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
