Lightroom loading issues

When I try to open LR 3.6 it open a message opening catalog: dsc03317.jpg.Lrcat.  Then it goes to the windows error window.  I have tried uninstalling the program and re-installing it but to no avail.  I have went to the registry and removed the lightroom folder and then defragged the drive, Installed the program again and still it tries to open open the same catalog.  I really do not know what happened to the catalog.  I have checked all the folders on the pc.  I believe the issue is registry related.  All the photos are on a external harddisk, and far as I know the pc has not been shut down.  If anyone has experienced this please respond to [email protected]  HELP

  • SAP Mobile Sales 2.0 delta load issue for Sales Orders

    Hello,
we have used Mobile Sales 2.0 with a Windows app for a while now. Our current issue is that sales reps won't see any historical sales order data on their devices.
    Background
Due customer requirements, we need to make small changes to customer master data attributes and reload all customers from ERP to CRM. Then we ran delta loads (MAS_PARTNER followed by all other objects) to DOE, in which virtually all 5000+ customer accounts were compared. The delta load ran for about 3 days (some performance bottleneck we haven't located yet).
During the delta load, data on devices was inconsistent. Accounts were missing and all transaction data disappeared. After the delta loads, all accounts and contacts are OK, save for a few. Data from activities (appointments, tasks) have reappeared, as they should. Only sales orders won't reappear. The sales orders exist in the backend and belong to active accounts and sales reps.
    Settings and troubleshooting so far
We don't have any limitations for sales orders in CRM Sales Mobile configuration.
We've run delta loads for all objects in transaction SDOE_LOAD.
    MAS_CUSTOMIZATION etc seem fine.
We've re-run initial load for sales orders from CRM.
In the test system, we've even reinitialized the whole CDS database on DOE and on the devices, then re-ran the loads.
    Checked steps suggested in discussion
SAP CRM 2.0 initial load issue
Historical sales orders (those created before the master data reload) exist in the backend, but don't show up on the device.
If I change one of those historical sales orders in the backend, it gets sent to the device.
If I create a new sales order in the backend or on the device, it is saved and replicated just fine.
To sum it up, it seems DOE is unable to identify the sales orders relevant for replication.

First Doubt i got clarify by my self as we can go with Unwired Runtime option .
But i still have doubt in :
    2. How can i Modifying the Main Menu for iOS.
i am able to customize the same for windows using files SybaseCRM.Configuration.xml file.
Same how can i do for iphone/ipad.

  • Data Load Issue "Request is in obsolete version of DataSource"

    Hello,
I am getting a very strange data load issue in production, I am able to load the data upto PSA, but when I am running the DTP to load the data into 0EMPLOYEE ( Master data Object) getting bellow msg
Request REQU_1IGEUD6M8EZH8V65JTENZGQHD not extracted; request is in obsolete version of DataSource
The request REQU_1IGEUD6M8EZH8V65JTENZGQHD was loaded into the PSA table when the DataSource had a different structure to the current one. Incompatible changes have been made to the DataSource since then and the request cannot be extracted with the DTP anymore.
I have taken the follwoing action
    1. Replicated the data source
    2. Deleted all request from PSA
    2. Activated the data source using (RSDS_DATASOURCE_ACTIVATE_ALL)
    3. Re transported the datasource , transformation, DTP
    Still getting the same issue
If you have any idea please reply asap.

Ken might be on to something.  The current release of jQuery is 1.7.2 which is compatible with jQuery Cycle.
For the latest core library, you can link to jQuery's CDN like so:
              <script type="text/javascript" src="http://code.jquery.com/jquery-latest.min.js"></script>
You have some improperly nested <h3> tags around your lists on lines 170 and 191.  To keep your code error free, simply delete the heading tags.

  • TileList data load issue

I am having an issue where the data that drives a tilelist
works correctly when the tile list is not loaded on the first page
of the application. When it is put on a second page in a viewstack
then the tilelist displays correctly when you navigate to it. When
the tilelist is placed in the first page of the application I get
the correct number of items to display in the tilelist but the
information the item renderer is supposed to display, ie a picture,
caption and title, does not. The strange thing is that a Tree
populates correctly given the same situation. Here is the sequence
    of events:
// get tree is that data for the tree and get groups is the
    data for the tilelist
    creationComplete="get_tree.send();get_groups.send();"
    <mx:HTTPService showBusyCursor="true" id="get_groups"
    url="[some xml doc]" resultFormat="e4x"/>
    <mx:XMLListCollection id="myXMlist"
    source="{get_groups.lastResult.groups}"/>
    <mx:HTTPService showBusyCursor="true" id="get_tree"
    url="[some xml doc]" resultFormat="e4x" />
    <mx:XMLListCollection id="myTreeXMlist"
    source="{get_tree.lastResult.groups}"/>
And then the data provider of the tilelist and tree are set
accordingly. I tried putting moving the data calls from the
creation complete to the initialize event thinking that it would
hit earlier in the process and be done by the time the final
completion came about but that didn't help either. I guess I'm just
at a loss as to why the tree works fine no matter where I put it
but the TileList does not. It's almost like the tree and the
tilelist will sit and wait for the data but the item renderer in
the tilelist will not wait. Which would explain why clicking on the
tile list still produces the correct sequence of events but the
visual component of the tilelist is just not working right. Anyone
    have any ideas?

Ok, so if ASO value is wrong, then its a data load issue and no point messing around with the BSO app. You are loading two transactions to the exact same intersection. Make sure your data load is set to aggregate values and not overwrite.

  • BI Load issue in the transformation/DTP after SP 17

    Hello,
After SP 17 applied in our BI system, we are having load issue in one particular transformation/DTP.
    See below the errors:
u2022 Messages for 101 data records saved; request is red acc. to
    configuration
u2022 Thee is no active nametab in the system, although an active ABAP/4
Dictionary object was expected. Reactivate the ABAP/4 Dictionary object.
Also I have activated the DSO, transformation and DTP. Also I went to SE14 and try to adjust my DSO, SE11 and activate the table but still having the issue.
Can someone advise me on how to resolve this issue?
    Thanks a lot.
    Cesar

    Hi,
Do the following: In BI, run transaction SE38 >> RSDG_CUBE_ACTIVATE to recreate the Metadata information
    for the Info-provider.
Then execute another program via SE38: RSDD_RSTMPLWIDTP_GEN_ALL
See Note 1161940 and 1152453 for more details.

  • BW sales load issue

I have a problem with this.  The jobs in the screen snapshot below are running too long - 2LIS_11_VAITM, 2LIS_11_V_ITM, and 2LIS_13_VDITM.  They use to run for just a couple of minutes.  The job configuration is; when the first job finishes a delay of 10 minutes will be incurred then the second job will run, then another 10 minute delay before the third job runs.  After these 3 jobs are complete an activation job needs to run.  This activation job began to fail because the first 3 jobs were not finished.  For now, the activation job has been moved but we need to understand why these are running longer and fix it.  We may be experiencing a problem with database performance in PDF but I would not think it would take that much longer.
This is the BW sales load issue
The info-package group is schedule @ 00:05 am and it contains 3 info-packages: VAITM, V_ITM and VDITM with 10 minutes execution gap.
The first VAITM started 00:05:46 and ended it up in BW at 00:09:02.
Then we have 10 minutes delayed between jobs.
V_ITM started 00:20:12 and for some reason it finished at 01:00:51. We can see communication between PDF and BWP took much longer than normal.
Then we have 10 minutes delayed between jobs
At 01:00:25 the activation job started and failed. It requires the info-packages to be in GREEN status but V_ITM finished @ 01:00:51.
It probably failed because V_ITM still had YELLOW status at the moment.
VDITM started 01:12:02 and finally finished it load at 02:09:16. A big communication delayed between system.
See below an example of the load on the 01/14/2007. It looks normal communication between systems
Could you please give solution for this.
    Thanks
    Vasu.

    Hi,
For every job you define and at the same time, you can also define the priority
levels to each job, since, during your job execution might be your job queue is
full with some other background processings, so try setting up the priority levels
    of the job.
    cheers,
    Pattan.

I am new to Demantra. Have installed a stand alone Demantra system in our server. In order to load data, I created a new model, defined item and location levels, then clicked on 'Build Model'. • Integrated WL/Jdeveloper class loading issue

    Hello,
I am trying to run a deployed project , getting into this class loading issue. Any idea?
javax.security.auth.login.LoginException: java.lang.LinkageError: loader constraint violation: when resolving interface method "com.scat.util.identity.UserFactory.lookup(Ljava/lang/String;)Lcom/scat/domain/identity/User;" the class loader (instance of weblogic/utils/classloaders/ChangeAwareClassLoader) of the current class, com/scat/auth/authentication/login/UserLoginModule, and the class loader (instance of sun/misc/Launcher$AppClassLoader) for resolved class, com/scatl/util/identity/UserFactory, have different Class objects for the type com/scat/domain/identity/User used in the signature
    Thanks
    Ram

How many times are you loading the com/scat/domain/identity/User type?
Is this in the system classloader and the application? and are you using class loading filtering in the application, for example,
    in weblogic.xml - prefer-web-inf-classes?

  • Lightroom tether issues.

I shoot events where lots of folks line up to get photographed and I use LR to aid in getting the best shots and allow the clients to select their favorites.
I own a Nikon D700 and tether it to my recently purchased a Dell Inspiron Laptop with WIn7, I-5 processor, 6GB ram & 640GB HD using LR3.2 RC
I bought this computer to solve what I THOUGHT was a problem related to my old Gateway Win XP 2GB laptop.
Turns out the problem reappeared on my brand new zippy Dell.
    Lightroom just stops working.
Last Saturday Night I was humming along on my new computer, allowing clients to select their favorite image(s) to be sent out later.
Humming along right until I hit image #112.
Then my client said: "Hey, where are the rest of my images?"
Sure enough, they weren't on the computer. and they also weren't on my camera.
Now the LR tether control bar reported "No Camera found."
    OMG!!!
Had the 15ft USB2.0 cable come loose?
I spent several minutes checking my connection.   Still no camera.
    Yikes!
I got out my spare USB2.0 Cable and switched it in.  Still no camera.
I replaced my still showing good Nikon Camera battery.  Still no camera.
I turned LR off and on.
Restarting LR may have worked the first time, but it definitely did not work the next time.
(I think I tried purging the LR cache, but when you are staring at a problem like this,
and people are lining up and some are leaving you don't remember everything you did,
but I had "NO CAMERA FOUND" several times that night and tried everything more than once.
Ultimately: Rebooting was the only solution.  (Tick-tock, tick-tock.)
(Meanwhile using the LCD on the back of the camera to show folksw their photo choices.)
After rebooting I could get another bunch of images loaded using tethered capture until it happened again.
(Maybe another hundred images or so - this occured around 4-5  times Saturday night.)
So now I am convinced it is not my computer.
I am now CONVINCED that what is happening to my computer(s) is that LR that is causing the problem when  my computer stops recognising my camera.
This has happened every time I have used lightroom to download & view images on the computer.
Since this has happend to me before, I keep trying new ideas.  but LR keeps failing.
    Is it a "memory leak"?
Maybe it is time to get another program.
    (Open to suggestions!)

I am a photographer who started recently experiencing similar problems with tethering my Nikon DSLR's to LR3.
First, a quick overview of my systems:
    - I am running LR v3.4.1 on both of my 2 x MacBook Pros.
    - My new (3+ months-old) unibody MacBook Pro is running OSX 10.6.8.
    - My older (2.5 years-old) unibody MacBook Pro is running OSX 10.5.8.
    - I own a Nikon D3 and a Nikon D3x.
    - Both cameras are up-to-date with the latest firmware, which is v.2.02 and v.B:1.01 respectively.
About 6+ weeks ago, I was shooting in my studio -- tethering my D3x to my new MBP using LR3 -- when I received an Apple OSX error message saying (something about) the USB port drawing too much power.
**I apologize that I cannot recall the exact USB error message; I was confused as the computer was virtually brand new and I had never seen such an error message before.  I should have noted the exact phrasing of the error message, but unfortunately I did not.**
From that moment onwards, for the rest of the shoot, the camera would only intermittently connect/tether to LR; it kept dropping out and images would not download to the laptop.  Thinking I had a camera USB cable problem, I shot the rest of the job on my CF cards instead.  And, to be honest, as I was very busy that day and then traveling overseas on holiday for nearly a month the very next day, I didn't think too much of about it again.
About a week ago I had my first commercial shoot since returning from holiday.  Thinking I had a camera USB cable problem the last time I shot, I got a new camera USB cable for this shoot.  I then used this new cable to tether my D3x to my new MBP, and it worked without fault throughout the entire 2+ hour shoot.  By this time, I had all but forgotten about the USB error message I had received a month prior, and -- believing I had solved the previous issue -- I had well and truly moved on.
Then, over the past couple of days, I have been shooting another commercial job with my D3x tethered to my new MBP.  The setup worked fine for the first 20+ images, but when I stopped shooting to review the work in LR, and then started to shoot again, the new images stopped downloading to LR.  Strangely, I did not receive another USB error message; the new images simply didn't appear in LR.  However, the LR tether bar still showed the camera connected, as well as displayed the camera's shutter speed, F-stop and ISO, etc.  I left the camera turned on, but stopped and restarted tethered captured in LR.  The camera appeared detected/connected and the images I had just shot moments earlier (that hadn't initially appeared in LR) automatically downloaded into LR and appeared on the screen.
Weird, I thought, and moved on.
But when I started shooting again after the next break I took, the same thing happened to me again.  And it continued to happen all shoot long over the past two days: anytime I stopped shooting to take a break or talk to the models or review the images, the camera seemed to mysteriously "disconnect" from the MBP.  Although, strangely, the D3x always displayed as connected in the tether bar alongside it's most recent shutter speed, F-stop, ISO value, etc.  However, once the camera had "disconnected", these values were frozen on the LR tether bar and would not change even when I changed them on the camera (as they normally do when tethered).  And, again, once I stopped and restarted tethered captured, the camera was immediately detected again and the images I had just shot (that hadn't appeared in LR) automatically downloaded into LR and appeared on the screen.
Frustrated, I tried using different USB ports on my MBP.  That didn't help.
So I tried changing my camera USB cable again (to another new back-up one I had).  That didn't help.
So I tried changing the USB extension cable that I was running between the camera's USB cable and my MBP (to a back-up one I had).  That didn't help.
So I tried changing cameras and tried shooting with my D3.  That didn't help.
So today I tried deleting LR3 and reinstalling it again (only LR v3.0.0).  That didn't help.
So I upgraded LR to  v3.4.1.).  That didn't help.
Then I tried the exact same set-up -- shooting tethered on my OLD MPB running LR 3.4.1 and it's older operating system OSX 10.5.8 -- and using all the various iterations outlined above (e.g. using both USB camera cables, using both USB extension cables, using both my D3 and my D3x, using both USB ports on the old MPB, etc) and was simply unable to replicate the problem.  Tethering both my cameras to my old MBP worked fine across all variations; they never "froze" or "disconnected" at any point.
Well, the problem MUST be with the USB ports on my new MBP, right?
Well, I am not convinced the problem is with my USB ports.  This is why...
    - I've never had a problem in the past 6+ weeks (since the initial error message) with any of my USB ports on my new MBP.
    - And I've never had the USB power error message appear again.
    - The USB ports sync/charge my iPad fine.
    - The USB ports sync/charge my iPhone fine.
    - The USB ports operate my mouse and my printer fine.
    - The USB ports operate my memory sticks and external hard drives fine.
I even called Apple Support the other night and told the tech support person my problem and she helped me to reset the PRAM and NVRAM, but it still didn't help.
And, the real kicker (and most confusing/frustrating thing for me): as I sit here, I've had my D3x tethered to my new MBP using Sofortbild (a Mac tethered shooting application) for the past two hours and it works perfectly: any images I shoot tethered to my MBP using Sofortbild download without any problem.  The application never freezes.  The D3x never stops working.  I can shoot 25 in a row, take a break for 5, 10, 15 minutes and return and Sofortbild and the camera will still work fine.  Exactly the opposite of LR3 on my new MBP.
I have wracked my brain, and the only thing that is different between my old MBP and my new MBP is the OSX version (10.5.8 vs. 10.6.8).  So perhaps there is a bug in the latest OSX that is causing this problem with LR, and when I recently downloaded an update to OSX it somehow started this issue?  I have to believe the USB error message I received is simply a coincidence, as the USB ports work fine for everything else (including tethering my D3x to my MBP right now using Sofortbild).
Does anyone else have this issue?  I am exhausted by this and welcome any insight or assistance that anyone might have.  I am stumped, but certainly open to suggestions to solve this issue.  The whole reason that I bought a new MBP was for faster tethered shooting in LR.  Now that it doesn't work, I am clearly upset.
Thank you in advance to anyone who can shed some light on this.
    Scott

  • Lightroom CC issues

I have installed Lightroom CC on a 2009 21.5" iMac running Yosemite, 16Gb RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 9400 256MB. I got past the initial installation issue by the suggested method but Lightroom crashes frequently. I have re-installed and this is still the case. Any thoughts? Thanks

My 2009 17" MacBook Pro actually has two GPU - GeForce 9400M 256MB and GeForce 9600M GT 512MB, either of which I can select in OS X Sys Prefs Energy Saver panel. With the 9400M 256MB selected, LR crashing out is frequent. With the 9600M GT 512MB selected, somewhat less-so. Dificult to be statistical about it as I am not using LR CC so much yet as I am doing mostly Photoshop work at the moment. I should also have said I am running LR CC in dual-display mode, with 1920x1200 as the main and 2560x1600 as the secondary (which means mostly as loupe in the Develop Module); that clearly will affect GPU loading also.
LR should not really just crash out if not enough GPU memory, just switch back to CPU to do that render, so there is something Adobe should tidy-up. I don't quite understand the crashing at start up on a "sensitive" image (until navigate away and back) either.

  • Lightroom catalog stops lightroom loading - new user help

    Hi,
New user to lightroom 3 - created a few catalogs - closed the programme  and now all i get is error messages and LR3 will not load.  Tried repair - no difference.  Tried uninstall and reinstall from cd 3.2 and same error message.  Tried deleting all catelog folders and still no sucess - sigh.
Any help appreciated  - erroe messages below:
Crashes with message - lightroom - opening catalog: PB285771.orf.lrcat and then the error message , sorry LR is expereincing probs and needs to close and provides the report function, which begins with:
    AppName: lightroom.exe AppVer: 3.2.0.10 ModName: msvcr100.dll ModVer: 10.0.30319.1 Offset: 0008d635
If there was someway of forcing the app to load without trying to open the referenced catelopg above it might work,  unless you experts know differently?? (hopefully)
    Thank you in advance.
    Alan

    Hi Alan,
I think you are mislead by the semantic of "catalog". Read "database" instead - Adobe marketing may have just voted for a non-tekkie name.... source of a lot of issues...
Large catalogs=databases create problems on old hardware of low specs. If you have a fairly contemporary hardware set-up with 2 GB of RAM I would definitely try with 1 catalog-database  only, until you might really run into problems.
It is easy to split catalogs should the need arise, which I second Pete Marshall to doubt.
Whenever you want to see two images together, to compare them, to assign the same keyword to find them together again etc. they need to be in the same database.
Only if you should have worlds totally split apart you could consider multiple catalogs.
There are ways to get pieces across from one to the other(s), but that requires conscious acts best carefully planned.
Your initial post does not strike me as if that should suit your personality?
In order to gain quick and good understanding of the basic principles I'd suggest you invest 15 British Pounds in Victoria Bampton's "The missing FAQs" online http://www.lightroomqueen.com/lrqebook3.php
    or read at least http://www.lightroomqueen.com/blog/2009/03/24/lightroom-top-10-gotchas/.
I have no relationship to that lady other than her book was my primary source of my current LR knowledge and I enjoyed it very much.

  • HR PA-EC Enterprise Compensation Management Load Issue

    All,
I have activated standard business content and have connected ECC 5.0 source to BW 3.5.  I tried executing a load for Compensation Process ODS and the load says there is no data available in source system.
I checked the source and infotype tables 0759 & 0758 both contain data.  I also did an extract check in source and it returns values, however when executing the load in BW it returns no values.
    Any advice?
    Thanks,
    DC

    Hi DC,
I know it has been more than an year that you faced this issue and closed this thread. But I thought I could get some input from you. I am having a similar situation, but in my case I am unable to see any records being pulled in the Extract Checker in ECC.
The scenario I am having is same as yours. I have installed the Adjustments datasource 0HR_PA_CM_1 (and other datasources for Awards and Analysis) from Content and ran the extract checker. There were 0 records being pulled. Then I found out that the relevant info types for compensation are 758 and 759, and not 380(the delivered DS pulls data from info type 380).
I see that in your case you are able to get the records in the extract checker. Can you please help me in getting the data being pulled from infotypes 758 and 759 ?
Thank you. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
