Lightroom om my ipad says trail after purchase, Lightroom on PC is working great, how do i fix this?

Im having the exact same issue ! On my Mac and my iPad still appear as trials ... Using the same (only one i have) Adobe ID and yes Im on CC, tried to sign in and out a few times as well but no luck

It's not complicated. Just uninstall the "standalone" Lr, download the CC version via the Desktop app, and away you go.

Lightroom for iPad Cropping

In the previous version of Lightroom for iPad, when needing to rotate the crop from horizontal to a verticle crop we just needed to tap the aspect ratio we wanted a second time. Now it seems that we need to select the "Free" option, crop, then again tap an aspect ratio. This adds a few extra steps to what was once a single tap. Am I missing an easier way to rotate the crop?

Lightroom for iPad- Problem RAW Canon 7d

I have a problem with the lightroom app for my ipad, i can transfer the photos of my canon 7d in RAW format to the device and i can look these, but in the moment when would like to transfer to any collection in Lightroom don't appear in the ipad library images. i don´t know if have a problem with the RAW format

Thanks hiphopsuperman, this worked for me! Strangely though, the native file wouldn't transcode, it would be stuck at 0%; I even left it on overnight and still no dice. So I tried the FCP exported version and that did the trick. Very strange why those three particular files didn't wanna work when all the other files shot from that camera work just fine. Anyhow, I'm just glad that I don't have to reshoot that shot, thanks again!
Also, Powered by Design, thanks for your advice as well, had the other solution not worked I would've tried yours.

I have LR(5.4) and Photoshop on CD but want to use /download LR app for iPad - can I do this ?

Lightroom for iPad. Sync problem

Lr for iPad. Syncing .... To iPad. Just shows a folder , no images and a symbol in empty box with " import from camera roll " any ideas welcome please !!!!!!!

TThe same thing happened to me a few days after installing the app. It seems that once the connection is broken, the Mobile collections simply disappear. I also had this happen when I booted my desktop and tried syncing the second time (oddly, not the first). LR told me it was trying to sync a different catalog. Thinking it was referring to the Mobile catalog (collection?) I clicked ok. My collections once again disappeared.
Seems the Mobile collections are "fragile"? Until Adobe gets the direction all the mobile apps are moving in totally figured out, I'd suggest making LR originated copies back into your ios camera roll. At least then rebuilding won't be so frustrating. Really hoping they link LRM and PS Touch in Creative Cloud. That seems like A very logical next step and would make workflow intuitive and very useful on the run.

Photoshop & Lightroom on iPad photo quality

I am wondering why went to editing a photo through Photoshop on my iPad, the quality of the photo decreases dramatically? Wondering if I'm doing something wrong. Thanks

Lightroom and iPad

I have been experimenting with the iPad as a photo storage device. I have a couple of questions regarding LR.
First, my impression is that if you transfer DNG files into LR through the sync process, you lose all your LR edits. In others words, the photo that is displayed is the original from out of the camera. Is this correct?
Second, if you transfer the file to the iPad through the sync process, is the file that is stored on the iPad the DNG file, or does the internal processing convert the file to something else, like a compressed jpeg?
Anybody who has other experiences or observations with the iPad that are worth sharing, please do so.

I don't use DNG but when I imported some photos to the iPad (mostly JPEGS and one
Olympus RAW) it displayed them all fine but as you say, the RAW was displayed without any
adjustments.
But if I export photos from LR to a folder (say "iPad Photos") and then tell iTunes to sync with that photo, then all the shots have my LR edits.
What I want to know is when they release the camera USB attachment and the card reader, when you import RAW directly from the camera, will the iPad display the unedited RAW file or the embedded JPEG.
As far as how it is stored - that is anybody's guess because even with the iPad attached to computer, you can't access the file structure on the internal memory.

Lightroom for iPad app keeps saying Checking Collections even though I had sync'd photos

I download the LR app for my iPad and sync'd a bunch of photos. Then my Trial period expired and so I paid the fee. But now, when I go into the App, it just states "Checking Collections..." and nothing happens. Can anyone assist me here?

Lightroom iPad expired

even though I have creative cloud photoshop and full photoshop and lightroom when I load lightroom on iPad says one month expired already. How do I make it realize I have the correct credentials to keep permanently?

on your sync'g desktop, sign out and then back in to your cc desktop app.
if that fails, follow solution 2 here, CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed

Recipe for iPAD retina display

Hi,
Does anyone have a 'recipe' for processing photos for the ipad retina display.
I'm a bit confused as to trying to print to jpeg (with what settings?) or export.
I've tried a bit, but not been really happy with the results.

This is effectively a Publish Service which can publish via FTP directly to a client app on the iPhone, thus bypassing iTunes and the iPad Photos app completely. I converted to this a few months back. Well worth a read.
PS I use exactly the same settings as Rikk, although I first crop all the images (VCs) to 4x3 if possible to ensure they are viewed full screen on the iPad.

Adobe Touch 1.5.1 crashes when CC sync is enabled

After activating CC sync AT crashed no matter what. Reboot didn't solve anything. Reinstall won't solve anything, tried several times. As soon as sync files is activated the program crashes. Only way to open it then is to go into flight mode (disable both wifi and 3G network) and then disable the sync again. Then after returning to normal wifi/3G mode the program runs fine.
Caused loss of project I spend some time on :(

the bug in PS Touch must prevent the smooth & TIMELY synching that Lr Mobile (happily) provides 'out the gate.'
even if supposedly unrelated, seems odd that only after installing Lr Mobile for iPad, PS Touch crashes if SYNC ON for everyone I asked. as damse (above) noted, sync off is the only way to stop crash & open PS Touch = not what subscribers agreed to pay for.

Best way to sync iphone with published service?

All of my photos end up in one large group, instead of in the albums I created in LR4. I have a pub service setup for my HDD (called "iphone"). I then created a published folder set called "Albums". I then created published folders which would be my album names (people, nature, animals, etc.). So I publish that, then go into iTunes and choose a specific folder for photos--the "iPhone" folder I created first in LR. Isn't this supposed to create albums on my iPhone? Instead of just one big folder called "iPhone"? How do you sync your photos from LR to your iDevice? BTW--I'm using a PC, Windows 7.

I assume your problem is more down to Apple than Adobe.

Jeffrey has digged into what Apple allows for synching and how to best cope with it.
I have tried his plugin with LR4b so far, with best results.

Questions about photography CC

I'm considering getting a subscription to Adobe Photography CC, but I have a few questions.
Do you have cloud storage space with this? I saw that the complete suite has 20 GB, and individual apps as well, but I saw no such claim with the photography CC.
Is there native support for other cloud services for syncing, like Dropbox, OneDive and Google Drive? And does this work on Lightroom mobile (iPad) as well?
Are there any plans for the mobile version of Ligthroom to support import of RAW files from an SD card, on either iOS or Android?
These are the last concerns that keep me from making a decision. Any help on this would be very welcome.
