Lightroom opens right after I turn on my computer. If I close out of it I can't open it back up

I have lightroom 5.5 64 bit which I purchased. I also have Photo cs6 and cs6 64 bit. My program manager also says that I have adobe bridge cs6, and adobe bridge cs6 64 bit. I can't tell the difference between the photoshop programs and I don't want them on my computer because I'm not using them. Also and adobe extension manager I use Widows 7.
My biggest problem is, Once I open lightroom I have a difficult time importing photos which takes forever when it works, and once I close the window, It will never open again. the whole process has been cumbersome and extremely aggravating. I was going to purchase lightroom for my son and his wife, but I'm really hating it. I spent a bundle on lightroom 5.5 as well as adobe photoshop, and I'd like to throw them both out the window unless someone can help me very quickly.

Your Lightroom probably opens when you start your computer because somehow, you included Lightroom to be among the startup programs (in the Startup folder under "All Programs")
If you shut it down improperly, that could cause you being unable to open it again
Slow imports are probably due to a malfunctioning card reader
All of this is speculation, as I am not sitting at your computer

When using office for mac or i studio after inserting several pictures, my computer locks up and the only way I can fix it is to do a force quit. Why does it do this and how I I get it fixed without a force quit?

Are you using versions of the software that are compatible with the version of OS X you have installed? Very often such lockups are caused by application incompatibility.
The problem may also come from trying to use both sets of applications at the same time while not having enough RAM installed. Adding more RAM may fix the problem.
The problem can arise from corrupted support files such as preference files or Application Support files or corrupted cache files.
The image files you are using may also be corrupt thus causing the problem.

For disk repairs use Disk Utility. For situations DU cannot handle the best third-party utilities are: Disk Warrior; DW only fixes problems with the disk directory, but most disk problems are caused by directory corruption; Disk Warrior 4.x is now Intel Mac compatible. TechTool Pro provides additional repair options including file repair and recovery, system diagnostics, and disk defragmentation. TechTool Pro 4.5.1 or higher are Intel Mac compatible; Drive Genius is similar to TechTool Pro in terms of the various repair services provided. Versions 1.5.1 or later are Intel Mac compatible.
OS X performs certain maintenance functions that are scheduled to occur on a daily, weekly, or monthly period. The maintenance scripts run in the early AM only if the computer is turned on 24/7 (no sleep.) If this isn't the case, then an excellent solution is to download and install a shareware utility such as Macaroni, JAW PseudoAnacron, or Anacron that will automate the maintenance activity regardless of whether the computer is turned off or asleep. Dependence upon third-party utilities to run the periodic maintenance scripts had been significantly reduced in Tiger and Leopard. These utilities have limited or no functionality with Snow Leopard or Lion and should not be installed.
OS X automatically defragments files less than 20 MBs in size, so unless you have a disk full of very large files there's little need for defragmenting the hard drive. As for virus protection there are few if any such animals affecting OS X. You can protect the computer easily using the freeware Open Source virus protection software ClamXAV. Personally I would avoid most commercial anti-virus software because of their potential for causing problems.
I would also recommend downloading the shareware utility TinkerTool System that you can use for periodic maintenance such as removing old log files and archives, clearing caches, etc. Other utilities are also available such as Onyx, Lion Cache Cleaner, CockTail, for example.
For emergency repairs install the freeware utility Applejack. If you cannot start up in OS X, you may be able to start in single-user mode from which you can run Applejack to do a whole set of repair and maintenance routines from the commandline. Note that AppleJack 1.5 is required for Leopard. AppleJack 1.6 is compatible with Snow Leopard. There is no confirmation that this version also works with Lion.
When you install any new system software or updates be sure to repair the hard drive and permissions beforehand. I also recommend booting into safe mode before doing system software updates.
Get an external Firewire drive at least equal in size to the internal hard drive and make (and maintain) a bootable clone/backup. You can make a bootable clone using the Restore option of Disk Utility. You can also make and maintain clones with good backup software. My personal recommendations are (order is not significant):

Try resetting the SMC.

Shut down the computer.
Disconnect the MagSafe power adapter from the computer, if it's connected.
Remove the battery.
Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds.
Release the power button.
Reconnect the battery and MagSafe power adapter.
Press the power button to turn on the computer
To reset the SMC on newer Mac portables with a battery you cannot remove
Shut down the computer.
Plug in the MagSafe power adapter to a power source, connecting it to the Mac if its not already connected.
On the built-in keyboard, press the (left side) Shift-Control-Option keys and the power button at the same time.
Release all the keys and the power button at the same time.
Press the power button to turn on the computer.
Note: The LED on the MagSafe power adapter may change states or temporarily turn off when you reset the SMC.

I just recently purchased my macbook pro about two months ago and just now right after i turned it on it shut off and it wont turn back on or even charge. it was fully charged this morning. What happened?

I purchased my macbook pro about two months ago. I had no issues with it what so ever. This morning i took it off the charger because it was fully charged because it showed the green light. When i came back home i turned my computer back on , entered my password and it shut off . i tried turning it back onbut it wont turn back on and neither woul it charge . Its not turning on and its not charging.

If it does not work, take the MacBook Pro to an Apple Store or reseller. You will get the MacBook repaired for free

Iweb auto start after I turn on the computer

I am using iweb3.03, yesterday I can't open my iweb normally, a loading window was pop up, but after that nothing was opened.
What I learn from here is find the domain file, put it on the desktop. and then create a new domain file, click the "show package contents", and replace everything by the old domain file on the desktop.
And it works, I can open my old web site with iweb again.
But after that, now when I start my computer every time, iweb will start running automatically. that's only problem I have, and everything runs normal.
It will be great if someone can help. sorry for my poor english, hope that everyone can understand what i am talking about.

You are having kernel panics. Can be hardware, often RAM related, or software.

Third party programs can be responsible, as they may be incompatible. I would try uninstalling any of these, starting with any that you have installed around the onset of the KPs.

If it's happening only now and then, it will be difficult to troubleshoot. Did this start after the 10.6.8 update? Might be one of them is incompatible with 10.6.8. See if any of these programs need updating.

I have to download flash all the time after I turn off the computer

I believe I may have had the same problem. What I did was remove flash completely from my computer (All files and folders) and did a fresh install. That seemed to fix the problem for me. If you don't know how to do that, google removal of flash and fresh install. Adobe has it all laid out for you. I hope that works for you.

I have over 4000 songs from mine and my now ex gfs Mac. After the split I was unable to transfer her share of music to my new lab-top. I don't wanna lose my music but I can't buy all music again I've had this problem for so long. My iPhone hasn't been backed up or synced since May 2013 I don't wanna download illegals just to get music. I figure if it's in my phone now why take it off to put back in. iTunes or Apple needs to fix the sync process or allow tranfer of music files from Iproducts directly to the computer if I back it up will it transfer all music or is this a lost cause.

Now all my new apps as well as several others are gone from the iPhone.
Look on other screens. The 4.1 update ands Game Center to the home screen. If that screen was full it create a blank screen and moves one app from the home screen to the new screen to make room for Game Center. All the other screens are pushed back one place.
How can I get my apps back? It cost me a lot of time and money to discover those apps and get them onto the phone. Are they just gone now?
If they are really gone, you can download them again. You will not be charged again if you use the same iTunes account.

After joining a company to receive products, my icloud mail changed and I can't change it back

I joined 'itworks'.com and went on the site to edit our information for purchasing product etc. my email in icloud changed. it now says 'itworks' in the "To;" section of receiving mail. very confused. I went into the mail preferences and could not find out where this is to change it? HELP!

I went into the profile and 'corrected' my email address (icloud account) and then shortly after, all my icloud mail became the 'itworks' in the From and To of my sent emails......I then went back to the profile and switched my email account to an 'alias' in 'outlook' account. It still didn't change my icloud.....
so then I quit (exited) my mail on the computer and reopened it. It has now finally got back to normal again.

After I downloaded Maverick my tabs have went to a smaller font and can't get them back.

After i downloaded new Mavericks operating system I've had problems. The first one is fonts on menu tabs changed to a very samll size and i can't figure out hiw to increase the size. We have had the Mac a couple of years now but I still haven't caught on to it yet. still use a pc most. Please help if you can.

File, edit, etc options no longer at the top of the screen since upgrade. My right-click doesn't work so I need the File, Edit options. How can I bring them back?

I only have Firefox tabs now and have not memorized all the Command keys to use when right clicking doesn't work. How can I access "File", "edit", etc....they used to be at the top of the screen before upgrade. I need to be able to copy/paste easily. Thank you.

The menu toolbar is hidden at default in Vista. You can use F11 to show it temporarily. Please also read this article:
