Lightroom to FrameMaker

FrameMaker 7 will not import jpg created from Lightroom 2.2. This is the error " Filter encountered an error and could not complete translation".
I do not have toggled the setting "Include metadata on export for jpg, tiff psd..."
Make sure you set "minimize metadata" in the export panel in Lightroom. That will probably fix it.

New Mac: Why are CC and Photoshop Elements not working when Lightroom and Reader are fine
Last week I changed computers (swapping an old Mac for a 13-in MacBook Pro Retina running OSX Yosemite 10.10.3. I copied all my data over to the new machine using Migration Assistant.
All programs work fine (including my copy of Lightroom 3 and Reader XI). But my CC and Photoshop Elements 10 do not. I have tried uninstalling both, but whenever I try to reinstall PE10 from its disk or download it just stops almost at the end. I then I get an "initiation failed" message, along with a request to download the now defunct "Support Advisor" app!
I cannot download Adobe Application Manager, or the CC desktop app either - for the former I get an "initiation failed" message, along with the "download Support Advisor" app" message again! For the latter I get a message saying "Adobe Creative Cloud Is Needed to Resolve this problem - however it is missing or damaged." Then I get a message and a link to download Creative Cloud. Then when I've downloaded it and I click on the installer... it runs for a bit and then I get the message again: "Adobe Creative Cloud Is Needed to Resolve this problem - however it is missing or damaged." And I get a prompt and link to download the CC app. Guess what happens next? And so it goes on. And on and on, in a tedious circle.
This is incredibly annoying and frustrating as I have work to do! Anyone have any ideas what's happening?

you should uninstall and clean whatever you've done, Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
then dl the cc desktop app to your new computer and use it to install your adobe cc programs, Download Adobe Creative Cloud apps | Free Adobe CC trial

i keep seeing the screen with the surfboarder and the button to buy. but i did buy and i want now to down load and install my LR 5. i am going around in circles. how do i actually get to a page where i can download and install.

Lightroom does not recognize the raw files (necs?) coming in from my Nikon AW1. It loads them as jpegs. I know it is possible to update Lightroom so it knows my Nikon but I can't get it to work.
I would like files to be loaded as .dng.update by downloading the files directly and then applying them for lr 4 and earlier, http://www.adobe.com/downloads/updates/

Adobe RoboHelp 7 does not recognize FrameMaker 6
I am trying to create webhelp. It's my intention to use
webhelp generated by RH7 as my single source output to webhelp,
Word, PDFs, and my company's wiki.
I tried to import FrameMaker 6 files into RH7 for HTML and
saw the message that FrameMaker is not installed. I don't have the
latest FM, but FrameMaker 6 is installed. So I converted my files
to mif and then to RTF and then to MS Word doc and imported them as
Word docs.
I was very disappointed. This means I will have to do a lot
of work to rebuild my TOCs, glossary, and index.
Also, the conversion from FM to Word changed my automatic
numbering to hard-coded and RH7 complied by applying a hardcoded
number paragraph style in HTML. I am still new to HTML. Also, I
converted files from my predecessor who inserted anchored frames
for graphics in table cells in FM. So I got heavily styled HTML
code in RH7 which made correcting the HTML code difficult.
So I edited the ancient FM files and re-edited the Word files
to create automatic numbering before replacing the topics in RH7. I
still had to go into RH7 and replace the numbered paragraphs with
the usual <ol> and <li> tags.
In another project, I had to fix the grouping of the
<ol> and <li> tags by hand. By itself, RH7 broke up the
sequential numbering.
I fear I also have to recreate all the index markings. This
is a feature in RH7 I still have to master. I have to re-build
cross-references internal to a topic.
Why couldn't Adobe enable the reading of all FM versions in
RH7?
More immediately, how can I cross-reference a list number
generated in HTML instead of the text or an alias, like "Step 6?"

Is this only when reading CR2 files on the camera memory card or also for CR2 files that were previously imported to your hard drive (i.e. ALL of your 60D CR2 files)?
LR 5.7.1 is only at Camera Raw 8.7. so OK. What Bridge, PS, and OS versions are installed? In Bridge go to Help> About Bridge
From inside Bridge launch any raw file and check the ACR version:

I cant get camera raw update 8.7.1 to work with lightroom 5.7 after downloading and opening zip file
When I try to open a raw file from lightroom 5.7 I get a message that I need camera raw 8.7.1. I downloaded the update as a zip file I extracted file then went through the install wizard process but still I cant get it to work. If I go to photoshop cs5 and open a raw file. canon crw. It will open in camera raw 6.7. can anyone help?

I have a purchased version of FrameMaker 10 - box, serial number, heck, even the CD sleeve, but no CD. Is there a way to download FrameMaker 10 so that I can install it and apply my serial number? It would be nice if you had a service like Battle.net, where you apply your serial number to your account and your software is always available to you. (I realize the cloud direction makes this possible going forward, but older software would be helpful.

Serial Number for Lightroom 5.7.1 HELP!
When I bought my new camera, I got a package with CD's and serial numbers for Lightroom 5 and premiere elements 12. I only used the Lightroom one, and of course I lost the CD. I just recently formatted my hard drive and when I wanted to download Lightroom again (I thought I could do it online and just use the serial number that I had in this package) I got the 5.7.1 version. The serial number I already had did not work for this version. Can this be fixed or do I have to buy a new serial number?

Lightroom serial number is not recognized
I have Lightroom 5.7 and I recently received a new laptop and when I downloaded it onto my new laptop for some reason it is not recognizing my serial number.
It keeps saying "The serial number you entered is invalid" and I have copy and pasted, written in and quadruple checked the numbers to make sure it was correct.
I am not sure why this is happening and I hope that someone can help.you're correct. your serial number for 5.0 is valid for 5.7 and 5.7.1. actually, why don't you try it with the last lr 5 version, 5.7.1:

I purchased a new camera with an Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 5 disk. I have a windows pc with windows 8.1. I have downloaded and removed about 5 times. It says installed correctly but every time i hit the icon the pc freezes and I have to reboot HELP

I have Lightroom 4.X on my desktop pc and recently purchased the 5.x upgrade. I would like to also install my Lightroom onto a new laptop. I can't find the original Lightroom CD. I have 4 upgrade versions. I don't wantr to buy the full version since I have paid for 4 upgrades. Any ideas of what I could do? Thank you. -Steve

Can't Delete Custom Stationary in Mail
