Lightroom to Revel Export: image resolution

Anyone know how to change the upload resolution into Revel from Lightroom? It currently is 240dpi I need 300dpi. I can change it when I upload/export into my hard drive but no option into Revel.

Is it not as simple as changing the resolution in the export settings? e.g.
I don't use Revel, so please forgive if my reply reveals my ignorance...

  • Registry Settings for Exporting Image resolution (RDC XI R2)

    The following document describes registry settings to control exported image resolution:

    However, that document is old.
    Where can we find instructions for XI R2 RDC applications?

    There are several informal & conflicting suggestions that one can find via internet searches.  For example:
    Add the following registry entries under HKEY_CURRENT_USER
    -> Software -> Seagate Software -> Crystal Reports Designer Component -> Export
    BitMapMagnifDenominator = 4 (DWord)
    BitMapMagnifNumerator = 5 (DWord)
    I'm looking for a definitive document/instruction from SAP.
    One of my customers just reported that the following settings work:
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER
    -> Software  -> Business Objects -> Suite 11.5  -> Crystal Reports Designer Component -> Export
    BitMapMagnifDenominator = 1 (DWord)
    BitMapMagnifNumerator = 4 (DWord)

  • Why Does Lightroom Web Module Export Images At 240 ppi?

    Firstly, please forgive my ignorance on this subject. I am in the process of getting together a website of my images and have been experimenting with preparing the images and thumbnails through Lightroom's web module. I've noticed that when opening the finished images in Elements, that they have all been converted at 240ppi. Surely, images for websites should be at 72ppi (or possibly 96ppi)? Or am I dimmer than even I thought?

    should I simply ignore the resolution box?
    Yes indeed. You set the size unit box in the export dialog simply to pixels and then size the right number of pixels for your web use. Typical is for example 800 pixels on the long end. The resolution box is not relevant for web use. It is really only used as a hint to a final printing size.
    So I imagine the 240ppi conversion must be the Lightroom default value. Do you think?
    Very likely so. I believe Lightroom, just like Photoshop, assumes 240 for files that do not start out having the tag so that is probably what happened if this started as a scan. Many scanners do not write this tag at all, but most DSLRs write the tag into their files and it is usually 240 for older generation cameras and 300 for later ones. I don't know why they do that as it is again not relevant as people print at any size they want.

  • Adjust export image resolution in Keynote4

    Hi folks,
    Above image is captured on my desktop, in left, that is keynote screen, and right side is export jpeg image(High quality option) from the keynote. And the captured image seems much bad and has not enough rolution to me (image size is 1024x768 for a page).
    Still I can`t find resolution adjust option where is. Does anyone know this?
    My Keynote version is 6.5.2. Thanks.

    (image size is 1024x768 for a page)
    The higher the pixel count, the higher the resolution;
    1024 is low quality
    as a comparison, my Canon 5D III creates 5760x3840 images
    therefore change the pixel size: 3000x2000 or 2000x1300
    test and see what works for you
    change the pixel setting in:     Inspector > Document > Document > Slide Size > Custom
    When exporting; use TIFF filetype for the best quality export

  • Exporting Images from Lightroom 4 | The Complete Picture with Julieanne Kost | Adobe TV

    In this Episode of The Complete Picture, Julieanne demonstrates the advantage of setting up presets in Lightroom to simultaneously export images to multiple file types, sizes, compression settings etc. You might find even find this method more powerful than Photoshop’s Image Processor!
    http://adobe.ly/QQ1iKx

    Hi Julieanne, currently I do have several Export Presets set up so that a specific image can be exported in various sizes, I believe I have 4-5 presets.
    Question:
    I would like now to select an image and have "all my various image size presets" run at once without me having to select each of the presets, the method I currently use.
    Is that possible?

  • Photos Export Options to Change Image Resolution

    iPhoto used to let you export photos and change the resolution (setting pixel size, for example).  This is a function I used a lot to help my wife who is an artist  who needs to export images to post on eBay with the optimum image size.
    I signed up for the Photos Beta to make sure this function was going to be available.  My recollection is that the first Beta version did have this feature in Photos.  I didn't check the later betas, but now that the production V1.0 is out, I discovered that this feature is not available.
    Does anyone remember seeing this feature in the original beta software?  I was pretty sure it was present, but I might be mistaken.  It seems strange to remove features in the beta process.
    Now I have to use Lightroom to do this.  LR handles this function easily, but it is a lot more complicated.
    David

    I am still seeing the option to change the resolution in the "File > Export > Version" panel.
    Have you searched all options, David?  I have to click the little disclosure arrow tin the Export panel to get to the "custom" option.

  • OSX 10.7.4 Lightroom 4.1 upgrade: Revel export option no longer available...

    after a lightroom 4.1 upgrade on my Mac OSX 10.7.4, the revel export no longer displays.  although, i can attempt to reauthorize the account the option for revel remains unavailable (see screenshot):
    i've attempted to reinstall the 4.1 upgrade, but the issue persists.  please advise...

    Revel is a Publish Service plug-in, not an Export plug-in.....so I wouldn't expect to find it in the Export dialog. It's down in the Publish Services at the bottom of the left-hand panel in the Library Module.

    I am using Lightroom 5.7, 64 bit with Windows 7 Professional. For no apparent reason, I now get an error message when I export a photo, say a raw image to a JPG. However, the exported image seems to be OK. But now I notice that my LR directory of folders in Library view does not show images correctly: If there is a folder with sub-folder(s), the folder will indicate 0 images, but the sub-folders show the proper number of images. What happened and is there a fix? I tried uninstalling Lightroom and re-installing, but problem persists.

    Same here. I've never had trouble with this function before.

  • Image in Lightroom doesn't match exported image viewed in Photoshop

    After all my hard work in Lightroom, I export the image to a folder on my hard drive. When I open this exported image in Photoshop and view it alongside the Lightroom version of its "twin" in Lightroom, there is a significant difference. Why is this? I want to use these images in my books, but my time is wasted if I end up with anything other than what I created in Lightroom. Shouldn't these images match exactly?

    Thanks Jao and Michael...the color management idea makes a lot of sense.
    Adding to this idea, when I open the Pshop file I get a message about the doc having an embedded profile that doesn't match current RGB working space, and the usual 3 options: Use the embedded profile, Convert color to the working space, or discard embedded profile. No matter which option I choose, none of the opened docs match the Lightroom version.
    The color balance is fine, but the colors aren't as vibrant. The Pshop photo is dull and lifeless compared to the Lightroom version. I used Clarity which added subtle brightness, and Vibrance to crank up the color in LR which added wonderful dimensionality and punch to the landscape scene, but the Pshop version has dulled these back down.

  • Exported Raw Conversion Image Resolution and Assigning a Color Profile, etc

    In Aperture 1.1, although I set the exported Raw conversion image resolution to 300 dpi in the preferences, it continues to come out at 72 dpi which is something of an inconvenience. Also, is it possible to assign a color profile to the "exported version" so that it is congruent to my PS CS2 color workspace (if that is what its called). Is this program capable of carrying out a conversion as a background operation? Finally, can the layout windows be configured so that they remember how they have been used in the past? Thanks.

    Iatrogenic huh! Cool!
    Anyway, I'm not real clear on what it is you are trying to accomplish. Despite your obvious vocabulary skills, there seems to be some disconnect relative to what you are trying to accomplish. You are right that "exporting a version" in Aperture is roughly equivalent to what happens in ACR when you "Open" a RAW image into Photoshop. In both cases you have, hopefully, already done the adjusting of parameters you want prior to "exporting", or "opening". When you "open" or "export" you wind up with an "image" composed of pixels, whereas in the RAW adjustment phase you are just working with a temporary thumbnail and a set of mathematical instructions. Big difference, I suppose is that when you "open" and image from ACR into CS2, the resulting image is truly just pixels and has not had a "file type" applied to the file yet, until you "save" it, while in Aperture, if you "export" a file to CS2, or to the desktop, you end up with the file type already applied. Presuming you "export" a 16 bit TIFF or PSD, there is no operational difference.
    I could be wrong, but with the new Bayer Demosaicing algorithms in Aperture 1.1, and the Camera RAW adjustments, you should be able to come up with an adjusted image that is VERY close if not identical to one done in ACR, with the possible exception of lens abberation adjustment. I was very critical of the RAW adjustments in 1.0.1, but I am very happy with the capabilites in 1.1. That said, I think there is still some room for improvement in user friendliness of some of the adjustments such as Levels.

  • How to maintain high resolution of exported images

    I am working with iphoto 5.0.4. When trying to export (share>export) an image as a 'Full Size' image (3264 x 2448 4.5 MB) to the desktop it appears at that size with 300 dpi resolution. However if I export the same file as 'Scale image as no larger than:' the resolution remains 300 dpi but the size is reduced to 2.4 MB while the dimensions remain the same. And finally if any cropping is performed or if I resize the dimensions of the image, the exported image will reflect the altered size but also the dpi is reduced to 72. What gives? Does that mean that the printed version will only print at 72 dpi? How can I create a smaller size image and still maintain 300 dpi resolution? I thank you in advance for your help.
    iMac   Mac OS X (10.4.5)   iphoto 5.0

    My first thought would be to remove the "Scale all objects ... " vi property.  I have been using LabVIEW for 10+ years, and I always found that function to work very poorly.  I never use it.  At least you could try removing that setting and see if your problem goes away.

  • Lightroom 2.7 exporting the wrong images

    Hi. I've been using Lightroom since the first beta, currently running LR2.7 on a MacBook Pro. I installed the new CS5 (Web Premium suite) a little more than a week ago, and I'm suddenly having problems exporting images to JPEG from Lightroom.
    Images import and edit correctly, look great, nothing gives me an error message. But when I try to export a single image, the first instance (after I've launched the application) will export correctly. After that, there seems to be about a 70% chance that subsequent attempts will export the wrong image. The file is correctly named, but the image will be a duplicate of the last successful export.
    If I try to export a batch of four or five, the first image will usually export correctly, sometimes the last image will export correctly, but anything in between will be a duplicate of either a previous export, or the first image.
    I assumed it was a memory issue, shut down the Mac and restarted, then opened Lightroom as the only active application. Same thing happened. I can export correctly in other applications such as Photoshop and Flash, but Lightroom won't. Activity Monitor doesn't show anything out of line for memory usage.
    When the problem started happening I was running 2.6; I upgraded to 2.7 to see if that would fix it--it doesn't.
    Any ideas? I'd rather not delete and reinstall Lightroom and rebuild my libraries if I can avoid it, especially if that might not solve the problem.
    Help!
    Thanks--
    --cynthia

    Hmmmm. I've tried various naming conventions and I'm still looking for consistency in the way the error occurs--could have something to do with naming presets, but it's acting like something gets stuck in the cache. What puzzles me is that I export files daily, haven't changed cameras, cards, file locations, my workflow is the same, and I've never had this problem. The only thing that's changed (that I'm aware of) is the installation of CS5--the error seems to have started when I started using "Edit in Photoshop." (And again, that was never a problem before)
    The files all have different names, the ones assigned by the cameras.
    This morning I rebooted, didn't launch any of the CS5 apps. Launched Lightroom, chose 7 files at random and exported them with the "filename" preset. They exported correctly. I selected them again, and tried another export, this time giving them a custom name, and they exported correctly with a sequence number attached. Tried them with "Custom Name-Sequence," and they worked again. I exported a single file with the same preset, again it exported correctly.
    Then I switched folders, selected 7 different images and exported them with a new "Custom Name-sequence," and this time Lightroom exported EIGHT files. The sixth was the previously-exported single-file, so the exporter had gotten the first 5 right, inserted the old file in the sixth position, and then correctly exported the last two.
    Three more tests exported everything correctly, which is far fewer errors than yesterday. I'm kinda stumped.

  • What resolution does Pages export Images to EPUB?

    I was wondering what resolution Pages09 Exports images to EPUB (which are then readable in iBooks2?)
    In other programs from Adobe and others you can control the Image conversion Resolution before you Click "Export" to EPUB?

    I agree it isn't very helpful...but that is all I have been told. Still trying to fiond out what the projector resolution is.
    I am using a fit within...but everything I am reading about projectors tells me I should be able to use higher resolution for a projector. This is more of a Foto Magico question as it pertains to images coming from Aperture.
    It is less the image resolution and more the slideshow settings I am trying to figure out. Maybe this is not the right place to post...  Thanks Frank.
