Lightroom Trial about to end - need to save work....

Help! I have bought my copy of Lightroom 5 but I'm waiting on it to come through the post (from Amazon). My trial is due to run out tomorrow and I'm very worried that I'm going to lose all my work/snapshots etc. I know I can export as Jpegs etc, but that won't save my catalogues/collections/snapshots etc. I desperately need to save these. Can this be done? Thanks.

When your trial ends, Lightroom will continue to work (see this post for more info). All that happens is that you won't be able to go into Develop or Map, but you can work in all the other workspaces. When your serial number arrives, enter it and you'll be able to use Develop and Map.

Cannot save keynote 2 file (URGENT!! NEED TO SAVE NOW!!)

I have just got a Mac (new to me atleast!!). Great, i have made a document in Keynotes and can export as a picture but cannot acutally save it!!
The save process begins and then terminates half way though saying it cannot be saved.
The file is created in desired location but when you try to open is corrupt.
I need to save the file and get on with my day but i cannot. I cannot export as powerpoint either for some reason.
If anyone could advise soon that would reapply be appreciated. I have keynote 2.

Thank you for getting back to me, your consideration is much appreciated. I did put in an image, 2 infact so maybe that messed it up but that was only at the end. I copied and pasted two small logos from a webpage in Safari.
Im not using an external drive, just the main drive in the computer.
The problem i have now is that i needed to leave the computer, so i lost my document. Its there on the desktop as a .key do you know how do recover or open it??
I managed to save it as a PDF as well but i dont think i will ever get it back as a workable format in Keynotes 2??

Trying Lightroom trial; two questions?

Sorry if these have been answered. I searched but maybe didn't use the right set of search words.
I just imported a directory with subdirectories, 3000 pics, into my Lightroom trial. Sometimes I use the finder to change file names or move them. Not the smartest thing when using Lightroom, I know, but I seem to fall into doing it fairly often. It worked out in Bridge because it was a browser.
Can the folders and files (if renamed) be refreshed if changes are made outside Lightroom?
I like to save a copy of my Master photo. Even though I think the changes in Lightroom are non-destructive, can I save a master copy and another edited copy? I had to make a copy of the photo before using Camera Raw from Bridge. Possible to revert, I know, but then I would lose my edits. Would you make a separate folder to keep Master Copies?
Summarizing: can folders/files be refreshed from within Lightroom?
Can I save a Master copy and use a second copy for developing?
Whoops, one more question. Can I have a preview pane showing in Lightroom like in Bridge? I'm looking, but haven't found one yet.

i did figure out how to use the compare feature as a preview.
Can you tell me how to refresh the folders and files from within lightroom, just in case I get the saving keywords problem figured out and can use the program at all.
I am having a major problem saving keywords to files as mentioned in another post. In fact am getting so frustrated I'm in the process of trying fusion so i can go back to ACDsee which was perfect for what I needed.
Very possibly lightroom and the like are more complicated than i need.

Another user had success doing the following:
I got some help from an apple assistant on the phone. It is kind of round about way to get in.
Here is what he said to do and it is working for me...
on the device that is asking you for the security questions go to "settings", > "store" > tap the Apple ID and choose view"Apple ID" and sign in.
Tap on payment information and add a credit/debit card of your preference then select "done", in the upper right corner
sign out and back into iTunes on the device by going to "settings"> "store" > tap the Apple ID and choose "sign-out" > Tap "sign -in" > "use existing Apple ID" and you should be asked to verify your security code for the credit /debit card and NOT the security questions.
At this time you can remove the card by going back in to edit the payment info and selecting "none" as the card type then saving the changes by selecting "done". You should now be able to use your iTunes store credit without answering the security questions.
It's working for me ...I just have to put in my 3 digit security pin from the credit card I am using.

Is your end user using Reader to fill out the PDF form? If so, the PDF needs to be Reader enabled. Please see Adobe Acrobat X Pro * Enable Reader users to save form data.

Lightroom does require 64-bit support. Your processor does support this but you will want to see if your operating system is 32-bit or 64-bit. If it is 32-bit then you will need to install a 64-bit version in order to utilize Adobe Lightroom.

I need to save a jpeg for ebay, It has to be 800 X 600 and 80kb max. Can someone tell me how?

I am composing pics in photoshop to add a backgound and need to save it as a jpeg set to ebay standard of 800X600 at no more than 80kb in size. Can someone walk me through that process?

The 80kb refers to the file size.
Yes, you can use Process Multiple Files to do the resizing part (the pixel dimensions) but you won't know what the files size ends up being until after the resizing is done.
In Save For Web, underneath the Preview on the right, the file size for the resized images is shown, so you can keep tweaking things until it is below 80k.
If you have a lot of files to resize, then Process Multiple Files may be best, and then just go fine tune just the ones that end up bigger than 80k.
If you only have a few to resize, then use Save For Web, as you'll only need one go at it to get it under 80k.
The basic flow in Save For Web would be:
Open image in Editor
File>Save For Web
In the New Size section, set your pixel dimensions (800x600) and click Apply
Up in the Preset section, pick your file format. Probably want to use JPEG
Look at the File Size (second line of text under the preview on the right)
Back in the Preset Section, select the Quality from the pulldown to have the highest quality that still gets you under the 80kb file size. You'll notice that as you select different quality settings, the File Size will change accordingly. Lower quality gets you smaller files.)

if you use Adobe Reader to view your PDFs you cannot save any changes by default.
To do this you need at least Adobe Acrobat to add additional Rights (aka Usage Rights aka Reader Extensions) to your PDF.

How do I recover photos after the lightroom trial expired?

Help - Need to save group text - story of daughter's life

Hello and thank you in advance. This may be a very dumb question, but I can't seem to find an easy solution in the research I have done.
I have used a group text since the birth of my daughter to update family members on her life. This group text is now basically the story of her life with pictures, things she has done, funny things she has said... I don't want to lose any of that. However, my iPhone 4S 64G is now maxed on storage due to this group text. I need to save this somehow, but don't know how to go about it. I have backed up my phone many times, but now that I need to delete the text to gain storage capacity. I don't want it to override the backup next time with the deletion. I need to keep the history.
Any suggestions on how I can go about that?
I have purchased a program called DiskAid, but have not had time to see if it will suit my needs.
