Guten Tag
Ich nutze PhotoshopCC/Lightroom 5 auf meiner Workstation unter Win 7 64-bit. Nun möchte ich LR zusätzlich auf meinem Laptop installieren (2. Gerät). Das ist allerdings ein MacBook Pro. Kann ich die Mac-Version downloaden, installieren und nutzen?

Hallo!
Ich beabsichtige, nächstes Jahr mein Windows-Laptop durch ein Macbook Pro zu ersetzen, weil darauf Adobe-Anwendungen wie Indesign oder Premiere besser laufen. Im Desktop-Bereich möchte ich jedoch bei Windows bleiben.
Das hat zur Folge, dass z.B. Indesign-Dokumente wechselseitig auf PC und Mac geöffnet werden müssen. Dazu habe ich auch bereits recherchiert. Eine dabei offen gebliebene Frage betrifft die Verknüpfungen zu Ressourcen, auf die in den Adobe-Dokumenten üblicherweise nur verlinkt wird. Bei Indesign sind das z.B. die im *.indd verwendeten Grafiken. Wie das Dokument selbst liegen diese auf einem Netzlaufwerk (NAS), dessen relevanter Freigabe unter Windows immer derselbe Laufwerkbuchstabe zugewiesen wird. Beispiel: Das Indesign-Dokument liegt auf N:\Indesign-Projekte\ProjektABC\, dann liegen die verwendeten Grafiken fast alle in N:\Indesign-Projekte\ProjektABC\Grafik bzw. weiteren Unterverzeichnissen von „Grafik“.
Auf dem Mac würde ich auf dasselbe Netzlaufwerk zugreifen, ab dem Einstiegspunkt (Freigabe auf dem Laufwerk) bleibt die Dateistruktur unter Win und Mac also dieselbe.
Bei meinen Recherchen bin ich auf folgendes Problem gestoßen: Zum Beispiel heißt die Freigabe auf dem NAS, die ich unter Windows als Laufwerk N einbinde, „Diego“. Mit Mac bin ich absoluter Neuling, habe aber insoweit schon erlesen, dass die Freigaben dort immer unter ihrem Namen gemountet werden. Heißt der freigegebene Ordner auf dem NAS also „Diego“, heißt die Freigabe auf dem Mac zwangsweise genau so. Man kann wohl nur Aliasse erstellen, aber der Freigabe beim Mounten auf dem Mac keinen eigenen Namen verpassen. (Ansonsten würde es vielleicht helfen, ihr dort dem Laufwerksbuchstaben als Name zu geben, unter dem sie in Windows gemountet wird). Dazu kommt noch der Umstand, dass sich die Schreibweisen der Pfade unter Win und Mac unterscheiden. Somit ist die Wahrscheinlichkeit recht hoch, dass die verknüpften Ressourcen beim Öffnen des unter Windows bearbeiteten Adobe-Dokumentes auf dem Mac nicht gefunden werden und neu verknüpft werden müssen. Soll später, nach der Weiterarbeit auf dem Macbook, unter Windows weiter gearbeitet werden, müssen die Verknüpfungen wieder „Windows-gerecht“ angepasst werden.
Hat jemand eine Lösung, wie man ohne jeweilige Neuverknüpfung die Dokumente wechselseitig auf beiden „Welten“ (Windows und Mac) nutzen kann? Gibt es vielleicht ein Skript, das die neuverknüpfung jeweils automatisch erledigt? Für Tipps sage ich schon mal vorab besten Dank!

Ein nachträglicher Installationsversuch bricht regelmäßig ab. Auch eine Deinstallation und Neuinstallation von Photoshop Element 13 brachte kein positives Ergebnis.
Was kann ich noch versuchen?

Bei mir in der Firma ging's bis jetzt problemlos, CS5 Projekte mit CS6 zu bearbeiten.
Zum Windows7 Kompatibilitätsproblem kann ich Dir leider nicht helfen.
Wie es sich mit 3rd Party Plugins verhält, hab ich noch nicht getestet.
Aber die Installation von CS6 lohnt sich in jedem Fall.
Zur Sicherheit kannst Du ja erstmal die 5er zusätzlich installiert lassen.

How to change Photoshop Elements license from Win to Mac

In February 2015, I purchased the Photoshop Elements 13 Windows version. I no longer have access to the Windows version and it was uninstalled from the Windows Platform. Can I use the serial number for the Windows version with the Mac version?

Mehrere Bilddateien gleichzeitig öffnen geht in Photoshop CS6 (32bit unter WIN 8 pro) nicht

Bis Photoshop CS4 (unter WIN XP, SP3) war ich es gewohnt, ein leeres Photoshop-Fenster zu öffnen und dann gleich einen ganzen Schwung von Bilddateien direkt aus dem Windows-Explorer in das Photoshop-Fenster zu ziehen (neben dem Mauszeiger erschien ein Plus-Zeichen, sobald er sich über dem leeren Fenster befand), wo sie dann als separate Fenster geöffnet wurden.
Jetzt bei Photoshop CS6 (32 bit) unter WIN 8 pro (64 bit), wird mir diese Möglichkeit nicht mehr geboten. Neben dem Mauszeiger erscheint statt eines Plus- ein Verboten-Zeichen und ein "Fallenlassen" der Dateien ins Photoshop-Fenster ist nicht mehr möglich.
Die Photoshop CS 6 64bit-Variante hat dieses Problem dagegen NICHT, sie reagiert so, wie oben das alte PS CS4.
Hinweis:
Wegen des "Kodak-Airbrush-Filters" musste ich die 32bit-Variante von Photoshop CS 6 wählen und diese auch noch im Kompatibilitätsmodus von WIN XP (SP3) starten lassen.
Kann das der Grund dafür sein?

Ah - dann geht wenigstens das "Mehrfachmarkieren" und Öffnen via Kontextmenü. Aber "Drag 'n Drop" geht hier auch nicht.

PSE12 Installation unter Win 7 Prof. 64bit bleibt immer hängen!

Ich habe seit Wochen sämtliche geposteten Install.Problemlösungstips von Adobe ausprobiert, immer mit demselben Ergebnis: Die Installation bleibt immer hängen beim Punkt: "Installation: erforderliche gemeinsam genutzte Technologien".
Ich habe einen Ordner mit den Installationsdateien im Quellverzeichnis von C: eingerichtet und installiere von dort aus. Sauberer Neustart, Installation von einem neuen Admin.Konto, alles nach Tips des Adobe Supports ausprobiert = immer gleiches Ergebnis wie oben. In meiner Verzweiflung habe ich die Zweitinstallation auf meinem Ultrabook unter Win 8.1 (Allerdings noch fast jungfräulich) ebenfalls von der Festplatte vorgenommen - lief ohne Probleme - scheint also kein Fehler auf der Installations-DVD zu sein (von der ich die Kopien auf den Festplatten erstellt habe). Eine längere Chat-Sitzung mit dem Adobe-Support hat mich auch nicht weiter gebracht - KANN JEMAND HELFEN?????

Das war eher Zufall.
Ich bin Informatiker und gerade dabei mich in IPv6 einzuarbeiten. (Wird immer mehr Thema bei den größeren Unternehmen.)
Hab mir dann heute n bisschen was zum Testen aufgebaut und dabei auch an den Einstellungen vom Mac gedreht.
Irgendwann mal zur Unterhaltung iTunes für bisschen Musik angeschmissen und dabei ziemlich doof geschaut als es meine Geräte wieder angezeigt hat.
Hab dann überlegt was ich denn geändert habe und bin dann durch try&error auf IPv6 gekommen ...
Das hätte Apple auch mal irgendwie mitteilen können!! -.-
Naja, Hauptsache es geht wieder und der ein oder Andere findet hier die Lösung!
In diesem Sinne wünsche ich noch ein schönes Restwochenende!

Diashow in CS 4 unter Win 7 nicht mehr zu erstellen?

Unter Win XP habe ich in Fireworks CS 4 wiederholt Diashows erstellt und ins Netz gestellt, (hanne-steffen.de), Nach Installation WIN 7 auf meinem PC ist dies nicht mehr möglich. Weiss jemand, ob das systembedingt ist oder zufällig ein anderer Fehler wirksam wird?

Reh... Doesn't work on my 2012 Mac mini. A function key set in Sys Prefs worked in Leopard and Lion on my MB but I cannot get any key to work using SysPref Dictation & Speech. It is befuddling and now I have to go to Edit-Speech to turn on and turn off speech to selected text.
I have used Macs and Apple 2es since cave man days and Apple is becoming so befuddling I am wondering if there is even an advantage to it over Windows XP. I spent a lot on this little box, it looks good (the first one had to be exchanged as it wouldn't link to my keyboard ???) but Apple intuitive does no longer seem meaningful.
If speech to text no longer is accessible by short cuts using Fkeys, why bother to have it in Syst Prefs?
Apple is losing its way. The pleasure is gone and no one at Apple seems to care.

Are you getting activation errors? As Ned stated , it is easier to troubleshoot if we have the specific type of error and error detail that you are getting.

1) I assume I can just hook the unit up via USB to my Mac and use iPartiion to reformat the drives, assuming each of the 4T drives will be seen by iPartition as a separate drive. That much seems straighforward.
Yes, and in case you ipartition dont see the unit properly, you can use the disk utilities on your Mac and you will be able to reformat the unit to make it compatible with your system.
2) Is my next step to reinstall the WD software and how do I do that? I've downloaded the Drive Utilities and Securities install apps - I assume I just run these with the drive still connected and that's all I need to do?
Yes, just run the applications.
3) What about the firmware update for Mac - when should I run that??
Normally, firmware updates are released to fix any issues that you might encounter on the drive. the latest one was released on 9/24/2014 and it fixed an issue with the drive dropping off of the list after system wakes up from standby mode.
5) And what about the "My Book Live Duo Setup" app for Mac - is that for a completely different model? What's the difference between "My Book Live Duo" and "My Book Duo"? It's these little things that I find so confusing.
Those are different units. The MBL Duo is a NAS (Network attached system) and the My Book Duo is a DAS (Direct attached system)
6) Lastly, when I have all the software installed, is that when I follow the procedure described in the Knowledge Base article ID 5724, "How to install a My Book Live or My Book Live Duo on Windows (8, 7, Vista, or XP) or Mac OSX for the first time"? Or is that procedure only for "My Book Live Duo" but not for "My Book Duo"??
That procedure is for the network units, not for your drive.
