Lightroom Web Gallery which Allows Users to Select and Email Their Photo Choices

A gallery option which allows users to click the photos they want, then easily email those photo numbers to a certain email address?

I found the error on another thread. You can likely search for the other thread by using "Web Gallery Restore".
Apple support helped another user resolve the issue in 30 minutes on the phone. The problem is evidently due to the order in which I added the .Mac account to my iPhone vs. applying 1.01 update, vs. iLife 08 update.
The solution was to Restore my iPhone and then select NEW SETTING (not previous backup settings). Then, I setup my .Mac email address on iPhone. Then publish a new WebGallery in iPhoto 08 and ensure upload privilege is checked. Finally, sync with the Mac which enabled the WebGallery button (yea!) and restored contacts, calendar and other email accounts.
The only thing not retained was my wallpaper, usage statistics, and notes (none of these are a big deal).

Bridge CS3 Workspace Adobe Lightroom Web Gallery Creator

A while back I was looking around for an easy way to create sharp looking image galleries with minimal work, and I came across a workspace plug in for Bridge Cs3. If I remember correctly, it was labeled Adobe Lightroom Web Gallery something or another. Anyway, I recently formatted my computer and reinstalled everything, but for the life of me I can find no trace of that handy workspace plug in. Does anyone know where I can find it? It had a bunch of customizable flash galleries as well as a customizable html gallery as well. Any help would be appreciated!

Best way is to upload your WebGallery into a subfolder of your web space and put a link to the index.html file onto your main page.

It is possible but might prove unscalable. SSRS reports provide 3 mechanisms for handling click events.
Hyperlinks. You can format text placeholders to interpret basic HTML, including hyperlinks.
Action. Most SSRS controls have an Action property that has 4 possible methods to handle the click event: None (ignore, default behavior), Go to report, Go to bookmark, Go to URL.
Visibility (Display can be toggled by this report item). You can specify another report control that, when clicked, toggles the visibility of this report control.
The first 2 might be used to reload the current report with updated parameter settings. For instance, I create a parameter called @PrintThis. When I click a row in a tablix, I am clicking on a textbox in one of the colloumns of that row. I can set the action
property of that text box to open the current report, passing all the same parameter values in except that I set @PrintThis to @PrintThis+";"+Fields!MyCell.Value. This parameter is used to display the details of the row I clicked plus any previously clicked
rows. With this approach, you would need a text box with the action property set to pass "" to @PrintThis so the user can clear that property to start over. Or set up a table that displays each value of the @PrintThis parameter with the action property set
to remove that value from @PrintThis (@PrintThis = Replace(@PrintThis, Fields!ClickedCell.Value+";","")).
The 3rd option could be used if the report already has a separate details subreport embedded for each row in the main report's tablix with it's Visibility set to Hide and with "Display can be toggled by this report item" set to the appropriate row's clickable
cell. It will likely take longer to run the report initially but the toggling of the subreports is near instantaneous. Using Action or hyperlink will be quicker initially but each click will have a similar delay to the initial report rendering.
So this will include certain details as determined by the "clicks" a user selects

What auth obj to use for allowing user to create and save workbook?

Hi all,
We are on BI 7.0, we have requirement which will allow users to develop and save workbooks (NOT BEX query) via BEx Analyzer. I have examined the auth obj S_RS_WKBK but it is obsolete auth obj and there is nothing similar obj in BI 7.0.
i then looked at the S_BDS_D, is this all i need in order to allow user to save workbook on to the backend system?
pls note, user can only save workbook NOT BEx query.

Actually there is no direct away to do it
First use the Authorisation s_user_agr , here in the activity field assign01,02,03 and 06 , in the role name assign a specific role name.
In s_user_tcd in transaction asssign - RRMX.
Got to PFCG, maintain the role.
Hopr this will be expedite.

As Jocheim points out, this is not the place to get help. My guess is that you need Photoshop Just choose the appropriate sub-forum.
Also, this ARTICLE might be very useful at gathering the types of info, that will help others help you. Note: much relates to Adobe Premiere, so you can skip over those parts, but you should get the general idea.

Design tools to allow users to rank and review?

I would like to create a site that allows users to rank and review content. For example, a photo might receive a 3 start rating by one reviewer and a 5 star rating by another, both of whom will be able to comment on the photo. Will I be able to accomplish this using iWeb? If so, is it difficult? I'm not a programmer (yet).

Try this general troubleshooting procedure:
1 - delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your
User/Home/Library/ Preferences folder.
2 - delete the contents the following folder: User/Library/Containers/com.apple.iPhoto
3 - reboot, launch iPhoto and try again.
NOTE: For Mavericks and Yosemite, go to your Home folder and use the View ➙ Show View Options menu to bring the this window:
where you can check the Show Library Folder checkbox.

How to show users display name and email address in open social widget?

Is it possible to retrieve users display name and email address with opensocial javascript e.g. Login widget seems to load user data (and userData.firstname) during the site init. Is this something that could be consumed or is there some opensocial data request that could/should be used. Any working sample widget spec would be appreciated.

Hi Ville,
in the logon widget, we also use the data retrevied from siteInit.loadData.data.user. However, this widget is part of the out of the box openSocial widgets, it is being released with the product code, not as a separate OS widget deployed on HANA Cloud Platform.
If you'll do window.parent.siteInit you'll probably will get the data you are looking for, but this isn't the official public API, so you can use it but we cannot commit on keeping this structure.
Why do you need this information in the widget level? Does your widget require authentication or is it for personalization needs?
The best way is to retrieve this info on the java side using HAHA Cloud Platform APIs and send them back to the client.

Actually, you can email up to 5 at a time from the Photos app. Select any more and the email share option will not appear.
If you explain why you need to email large numbers of photos, we might be able to offer an alternative.

When you open a raw file it will open in Adobe camera raw. That is where you can do most of the editing. Then it will be placed inside Photoshop where you can do more if needed.
Now you can use the save for web dialog to export your image as a png or jpg to use on those sites.

As to iPhoto
Connect the two Macs together (network, firewire target mode, etc) or use an external hard drive formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) and drag the iPhoto library intact as a single entity from the old Mac to the pictures folder of the new Mac - launch iPhoto on the new mac and it will open the library and convert it as needed and you will be ready move forward.

Font Change in Lightroom Web Gallery

Is ther any way to change the default font in the lightroom web galleries (specifically the HTML-based gallery)? I feel like it's probably a simple change in a menu somewhere that I missed

In a HTML based page the fonts shown will always be dependent on the fonts installed on the end users computers. Whilst many LR galleries have the ability to select a font group that the respective end users machine may display by editing the page css style, I don't think the default html gallery that comes installed with LR has this.
If you want to make the change yourself you will need to recode the exported gallery files yourself. In the index file a line such as
body,td,th { font-family: Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif; } should do it

Keep CS5 HTML "lightroom" web gallery template from renaming files...

When creating an HTML Web Gallery (using ‘Lightroom’ template), Bridge CS5 renames the thumbs and large images to an arbitrary number. The caption reads as the original file name, but the actual image has a new name. This is problematic, as my clients will right-click selected images from my galleries to save and forward for approval, but the file name is not the same as the original.
As an example: VLNK0321.jpg is renamed as _4856316150.jpg. (In Preferences/Output, the "Convert multi-byte file names to Full ASCII" is unchecked.)
Is there any way to fix this little (for me--BIG) problem? Can the script be altered to keep the original file name, not the ten-digit arbitrary number that it currently generates?

I believe I've discovered the file/script that does the renaming. I've done some testing, and have been able to change the way Bridge does the changes, but not able to keep the original file name.
The file is "galleryCreator.jsxinc", found in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Bridge CS5 Extensions\Adobe Output Module\mediagallery\resources\scripts.
I'm not a code-guy, so I'm hoping that someone with more smarts than I can help. Below is the part of "galleryCreator.jsxinc" that does the re-naming. Simply deleting this entire part of the script renders Bridge unusable. So allowing the script to create the altername is important. If the alteration could consist of only adding the "underscore" prefix to the original file name, all would be well...
Here's the pertient portion of the script:
