Lights 3d and shockwave 64bit

The Shockwave player would not install on Vista 64 bit prior
to version 10.3. Versions after this have all installed cleanly and
most of the 3d stuff I did years ago worked OK on 64 bit platforms
except that the lighting in some of the interactions is far too
bright. In some interactions the lighting is OK.
One interaction is entirely broken. You should be able to
turn on and off lights, change their colour and move them. This
worked fine on 32 bit machines for lots of years. Now on a 64 bit
Vista machine everything looks white with a bit of colour in the
middle. When I turn off the lights the objects all look flat white,
but as there isn't any light they shouldn't be visible. This broken

First, this is what happens with some Shockwave 3D content
that has audio
playing alongside the 3D - basically, the application
crashes.

I've managed to reproduce the bug with public URLs. I have
not experienced it
directly (with any of my own files). But, do see it as a
serious enough issue
to try support Adobe in getting it resolved. The situation is
that Adobe know
about it, they have seen it, but they need to understand it
better to help fix
it. And, to understand it better, they need a Director source
file to see how
the sound is activated and what set of circumstances are
contributing to things
going wrong.
You can help if you can produce a file that encounters the
problem and can
supply the source. If you find a URL and can duplicate a set
of steps to cause
the bug, taht can help, but a source file is what's really
needed.

Adobe Flash Player and Shockwave crashing has disabled my computer

I have downloaded a second flash player and it is still the same. Firefox has been crashing daily for a few weeks. I noticed that your adblocker plus was updated 6/4. Since then I have almost no use of firefox, because the Adobe flash player 13.0.r0 and Shockwave crash notices are constantly popping up. In trying to fix it, a window came up that asked would I like to change it back to a previous working image, which was Windows XP. Although this computer is Windows 7, I clicked the box yes, and said I wanted it to work like Windows XP. I can't find that menu to change unclick and change it back, so that it is working as Windows 7.

AdBlock Plus isn't maintained or connected to Mozilla as they didn't develop it. ABP and Flash don't interfere with each other except on same cases that ABP blocks Flash content.

Flash has been a pain since day 1 and Mozilla is currently working to replace Flash with Shumway. Unfortunately it's in the Nightly channel, doesn't come activated automatically and it isn't quite ready for normal usage. I just tested Nightly yesterday with Shumway and it wouldn't play.

If they were songs you purchased from itunes, try redownloading them from your purchases...
if that doednt work, make sure the optuon to copy files to itunes media folder is checked in settings, then find and download from the net. and re-add them to your library

If you can't sign in, then you can't troubleshoot and/or pair the keyboard until after that........ so, for that, you will need to borrow someone's USB wired keyboard in order to get signed in and to the Keyboard Bluetooth Preferences.

Sorry to say it, but I think you can see from Bob's response that there's no way to solve this rapidly.
Did you take an image of your Mountain Lion install before upgrading to Yosemite? Roll back to that. If you're not in the habit of taking a snapshot of your system before performing operating system upgrades - get in that habit. If you are dependent on anything at all on hour computer, having a reliable backup method in place is essential. If you don't have a Time Capsule, or some other way to run Time Machine onto a disk that's not in your computer, go set that up yesterday.
If you can't just remove Yosemite and roll back to Mountain Lion for whatever reason, you can partition your drive so that you can install both Yosemite and Mountain Lion on the same drive, and then boot into Mountain Lion when you need to work in CS5. Or you can take your Mountain Lion disc (I assume you have one, no?) and then use it to create a virtual machine in something like VirtualBox to run Mountain Lion from inside Yosemite.

Why are some of my songs in light grey and have a circle beside them?

Are you sure you aren't looking at the tracks in your iPhone/iPod?
That greyed out and perforated circle thing happens when your iPhone is plugged in, you are looking at the music in it and some songs are physically in your phone (ready to play) and some are in the cloud (you can download to your phone whenever you want).

Apple sells a 30 pin to lightning pin adapter - you can find it on the Apple on;line store - or Amazon sell 3rd party one - but if it didnt works with your 4S which also has a 30 pin input - there may be something else wrong

Customizing Light Framework and desktop

We have an internal need for using the light framework and desktop. I don't like to modify the SAP provided items but instead would rather create delta links and modify those.
I created a delta link of
-Light Desktop (contains my CSS and my light framework page)
-Light FrameworkPage
-Light Detail Navigation (changing the start at navigation level to 1)
-Searched and found the Light Detailed Navigation Page did a delta link copy and then modified it
Modified the delta link copy of the Light Framework Page
Here's the rub - I'd like to modify the Light Desktop Innerpage. I'm hitting the wall here. I created a new page but the layout needed (Light Navigation Panel & Content Area Layout) doesn't show. Can't find the Light Desktop Innerpage in the portal content (it's there via the properties of the framework page - but finding that page I can't seem to find it.
So - how do I create my own desktop innerpage (would like to base it on light desktop innerpage)?

The desktop inner page is on of the iview present in DefaultFramework page of Portal which is a single portal page containing default iViews and pages.
The default framework page supplied with SAP NetWeaver Portal provides the navigational and structural components required to navigate and operate the portal. we can modify the default framework page or create our own framework pages to meet the requirements.

Apple dropped playback support for .swf formats in QuickTime almost ten years ago.
Adobe Flash Player is the only way to view them.

In the past, when I goto Adobe's website and choose the "flash and shockwave" test, I could easily see what version were installed. At some point with version 3.2, I guess shockwave was removed. It is no longer in the plugins folder.

Regarding Rosetta emulation for Intel Mac... If you have installed the latest update of shockwave 11 you will need to untick/disable Rosetta as sw 11 is supposed to have resolved the reason Rosetta was needed in the first place. Also, having Rosetta enabled causes web pages running on Java to not work.
I have a problem using Safari with a shockwave dependent web game that I am an administrator for so this problem is something I hope I can somehow fix. Other administrators using Safari are not experiencing the same issues so I'm thinking it's something in my computer causing this issue. I cannot supply the URL for this site as we are working on a beta for a new release of the game and the URL is password protected and I am not free to disclose as per confidentiality agreement with the game's creator.
iMac G5 OS 10.4.11 Safari 3.1.2 Recently uninstalled and installed the latest update added to shockwave 11. I have not yet updated Safari to 3.2.1
I have no crashes while on the site but I have a very annoying delay when entering text into the text field of the game. The characters delay before showing up and I have to hit enter several times to send my text to their server. I used the browser Opera v8 for a few years due to this issue with Safari but after the site was updated to allow for shockwave 11 I had to update Opera and the text issue is even worse than Safari. The game's creator and other admins using Mac are of no help as they are not having the same problem. Is there anything I can do within my system to try to resolve this issue? Any suggestions will be appreciated.
