Lights do not appear in 3d scene until I render.
I cannot get any lights to appear in my 3d scenes until I begin rendering. I have installed all updates. In fact, this started when I installed the Creative Cloud update back in December. Also, how do I get rid of the annoying IBL preset? Thanks

You have an ATI card and Photoshop version and 13.1.2, right? This is a known issue.

Are you asking how to remove the preset from an individual image? You can either uncheck the [ ] IBL box, or click the icon just to the right of the IBL thumbnail and chose Remove Texture.
Are you asking about how it can be turned off permanently so it doesn't get added to new 3D environments? I don't know of a way (there might be one, but I've not found it).

Thanks for the question. After reviewing your post, it sounds like you are still receiving messages on both the iOS device and the Mac it just takes a while. Have you tried signing out and back on the Apple ID in messages on the Mac? I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help you isolate or resolve the issue.

D-Light does not appear to be available
I downloaded and installed the June 2007 build of SunStudio 12 Express and cannot find anything related to D-Light. My understanding is that it should be under the tools drop down.
Here is the version string for SunStudio:
Build 200704122300, SunStudio 20070501
Did I somehow obtain the wrong version or do I need to take further steps to launch D-light?

This is strange that symbolic links are missed. As I understand you downloaded a
complete image of "Sun Studio + D-Light", which includes NetBeans, which has
these 4 symbolic links:

Lighting bolt not appearing , PC not decting iPhone , charging is extremely slow
I recently had my iphone screen repaired , now that I got it back , I plug it in to charge , the charging happens (the battery percentage goes up) but the lighting bolt icon doesn't appear , when I plug it to an computer it doesn't detect it ...
Any help would be appreciatedSince you didn't have your screen repair by Apple (Apple doesn't repair screens, they replace the phone unit), you have voided your warranty with Apple and they won't touch your phone now. Sounds like something happened during the repair. Bring it back to whomever repaired your screen and hope for the best. Apple can't help you on this one.

N97 mini - Photos not appearing
On several occassions now I have taken photos with my phone but they do not appear in the gallery untill days, sometime weeks later. I know they are there because I can find them when connected to a PC using nokia browser.
I have tried restarting my phone to get them to appear, no joy. Swapped over where it stores the photos, still no joy.. Updated software and again still no joy.
When they do eventually appear on the phone they display in Downloads, not in Captured
Any thoughts or solutions?They should appear straight away, but what is the default saving folder set in the options in the camera app in the applications folder ? set to E Mass memory, see if it helps, also try Nokia Photo Browser from beta labs.

I have CC and while attempting Light Effects, the Light Effects Layer will appear in the layers panel, but the option bar will not appear and neither will the Properties panel. All my preferences are set correct, and my computer has a compatible video card and RAM. Please help!
I tried to delete the layer attempt again. I am in a Photoshop class, but the work is all online, so all my teacher is going to do is send me to this site. I am trying to edit a photo for this class, and without this working, i go to filter>render>light effects. the bar and panel will pop up for about 2 seconds, then disappear. How do i get the options bar and properties panel to display?I was about to suggest resetting LE from the Workspace drop-down top right corner, but if you can't see the Options Bar, I guess that is not going to happen. The normal Tool reset is grey out for LE, so it might be a case of resetting Preferences.

when registering my iphone on itunes the message - the sim card insertedin this iphone does not appear to be supported - can anyone shed some light on this and tell me a way around this problem? the phone itself is an english phone and tried to register with a spanish sim and that message appeard, so i tried with my iphone sim which is english and the same message appeared!

Ever since my last update I have been unable to add songs from my i tunes library onto my i phone. The "add to" button does not appear for me when I connect my i phone. Can anyone shed some light on this for me?
Thanks for that 'sberman' - because my iPhone is backed-up to my work computer (only at this stage) I have had to call our IT Department in Adleaide. (4 times this morning). The last guy managed to get the phone into 'DFU Mode' - no more recovery mode screen - (kind of 'asleep' perhaps) from my understanding of same. I am awaiting a call again from IT so they can get my computer to actually recognise my iPhone on the C Drive. This also happened to one of my colleagues in Newman (WA). She got so frustrated with the whole process that she bought another phone the next time she was in 'civilisation.' She hasn't had any problems since. (Cross fingers).

Been using an Avastor HDX-800 for storage and backup, also a SUPERDISK for smaller stuff; recently the SUPERDISK does not appear on the screen, and the light blinks while you hear it spin, also the Avastor has started to have the same problem, both USB conncected, both worked well before, but both now spinning, blinking, and not showing up on the screen as before,
Interestingly they both appear in the System Profiler, but just not working the same as before
I have tried other USB ports, but the same responce,yes I did reset the PRAM, but no benefit, still the same problem

I am having trouble with my voice mail on the iPhone. The voicemails are not appearing until 3 even 4 weeks after they are left by a caller. Last night 10 voice messages came through all at once, one left before Thanksgiving. Is this an iPhone issue or an issue with the carrier?
I'm having the same issue. It began three or four days ago. I'd notice that I'd miss a call but the person wouldn't leave a message.
Two days later, suddenly three or four new voicemails will pop up from the past couple of days. The time stamp on the messages is correct-- it will show that the caller left the vmail a day or two before.
Also, in what has to be a related problem, some of the voicemails appear to be corrupted and cannot be played.
I have a 4s and my software is up-to-date. I have made no material changes to my phone, other than automatic software updates to explain this.
It's enormously frustrating and as a job seeker, I can't afford to miss voicemails. Does anyone know if this is the phone or the carrier (AT&T)?

You've connected the iPad via cable to your computer, and your computer's iTunes is up-to-date ? If it's icon isn't showing then try one of these troubleshooting pages :
PC : iPhone, iPad, or iPod not recognized in iTunes for Windows - Apple Support
Mac : If you don't see your connected device in iTunes for Mac - Apple Support
If the iPad is disabled then you'll need to reset the iPad back to factory defaults, after which you can restore to your backup -
I am trying to delete apps from my Ipad. I have tried to hold the app down until the cross appears but the cross does not appear. Do I have to delete the app in I tunes first and if so how do I do that
deleteing apps for your ipad is disabled. If you are the owner of it go to Settings>general>restrictions and then turn deletieing apps back on.
If you have a jailbroken iPad that will proberly not work.

The plug-in is correctly installed into Adobe Photoshop CS5.1>Plug-ins>Filters but it NOT APPEAR rolling down the RENDERING menu!!

In 64-bit versions of Mac OS 10.5 and later, some older, optional plug-ins are available only if Photoshop is running in 32-bit mode:

Steady green light on A1084. Mac OS X 10.7.5. IMac. Verizon DSL Actiontec GT704-WGB modem. Airport Utility 5.6 says set up is complete. Airport Express base station does not appear in the menu bar, so I cannot select it and send a signal to airport express to play airtunes through my stereo amplifier. Is there a fix?
I plugged a model A1034 Airport Extreme Base Station into the Verizon DSL Actiontec GT704-WGB modem with an ethernet cable and now the AirPlay icon appears in the Itunes window immediately to the right of the volume control and I can select it and play Airtunes wirelessly through the A1038 Airport Express Base Station in another room connected to a stereo amplifier by a Monster mini-to-RCA left/right audio cable running from the output jack on the A1034 Airport Express Base Station into the CD jacks on the amp. The problem is that I have to select the Apple Network Airport Express Base Station as my network in order to select the Airport Express Base Station when I click the AirPlay icon, which means I have no Internet signal to the Imac. If I select the Airport Extreme Base Station or the Verzion modem as my network, then I have an Internet signal to the Imac, but the Airport Express Base Station is grayed out when I click on the AirPlay icon, so I cannot select the Airport Express Base Station and send tunes to the Airport Express. It would be nice to play Airtunes while simultaneously accessing the Internet. I don't understand your question about what program I am using for which I require AirPlay. I am not learned about computers in general, and even less so about Macs than PCs. I thought the program I was running was Itunes, and there was no separate program to run to use AirPlay for the purpose of sending a signal from the Itunes on the Imac to the A1084 Airport Express base station in a another room, and then out as described above to the stereo amplifier to listen to Itunes music remotely in the other room, without any kind of cable, wire, etc., connecting the Imac to the stereo amplifier. I would guess that the most common use for the A1084 is to play Itunes through a stereo in another room without the need to run wires from the computer to the stereo. I realize it would be easy simply to run a very long mini-to-RCA left/right audio cable across the floor connecting the Imac to the amp without the need to use AirTunes, Airplay or any kind of AirPort, but it would be both unsightly and a tripping hazard.
