Lightweight Installation - What dependencies am I missing?

Im trying to do a lightweight installation of ArchLinux.
Im having issues with mkinitcpio, when I make the kernel.

Share your movie to the Media Browser. Then, in iDVD, drag your movie in from the Media Browser at the bottom right.
THe Share to iDVD option is only activated if your source material is DV or AVCHD.

You might want to try resetting your router and your modem - just unplug the cords, leave them unplugged for about 3-5 minutes and then replug the modem and then the router in that order.
This may or may not correct your problem - call back if it doesn't.

You may have an invisible filter on your trash.
Try the "Double Caggiano", as described in Frank Caggiano's User tip:

I prefer Arial to the default Helvetica, so that's what I set -
When I first open a new message window, it displays Helvetica as the font -

I see v10.7.4 in your profile but make absolutely sure that's correct because the minimum requirements for Pages is v10.7.4 according to the Pages Information panel at the App Store.

What Happens If I Miss Backups?

Just wondering what happens if I miss the weekly backups. Does it matter? I have no need to keep hourly, daily, and only dock with my external drive ocassionally and let Time Machine rip. Since 10.5.2 I now get the nice tray icon reminding me. Does it matter if I leave it a couple of weeks?

Of course my data is important, but as it's slowly changing files, mainly audio files, it wouldn't be the end of the world if I didn't backup for 2 weeks, and if it's a critical milestone then I usually plug in my alternative USB drive and run a little automation script that captures only the changed files instead of tying up my machine for 2 hours while Time Machine runs!
TM is great piece of mind, but still a version 1 with many limitations. I use it cause it's easy.

Everytime I try and install a program, my Mac automatically opens the .pkg file with Terminal. Someone told me to check to see if my Installer Utility was missing and it is. Any suggestions on what to do?

Where did you look for it? It won't be in the Applications folder. It's located in /System/Library/CoreServices/. You may just have an issue with an association. Select a .pkg file. Press COMMAND-I to open the Get Info window. In the Open With panel select the Installer if it's listed or find it in the /System/Library/CoreServices/ folder. Select it then click on the Change All button.
If it really is missing then reinstall Lion:

I downloaded the acrobat 9 pro series of updates. Get an error message saying that windows installer can't install. Missing or wrong program.

Here is the exact error message:

It is Acrobat 9 Pro that is installed and the upgrade file is: AcroProExUpd910_all_incr and/or AcrobatUpd911_all_incr.

what version do you have (click help>about)?
and what link did you use to get AcroProExUpd910_all_incr?

I've just tried to re-install my Itunes after i was unable to open my former one, because it said Itunes cannot run because some of its required files are missing, please

It means its most likly missing quicktime or some other files. iTUnes uses parts of quicktime to play audio and video.
In Windows, goto control panel>add and remove and uninstall BOTH iTUnes and quicktime. You will not loose any music or playlist. Then for extra measure go here and roll down to the section "Clean up iTunes installer files on the computer"

Now disable your antivirus program and security programs and goto apple.com to download/install iTunes
