Like all other software companies, Mozilla is becoming complacent and their products antiquated.

A pervasive problem within the software world is a complacency in which they take no regard for the concerns of their customers while having neither incentive nor motivation to correct basic issues with their product. Take the issue with Firefox freezing up. Customers write to Mozilla with a concern about the Firefox problem, Mozilla’s response is to shift the blame to Flash. After contacting Flash, we discover they have shifted the blame to individual web sites. When addressing these concerns with a favorite web site, they blame either Firefox or Flash. Nobody accepts responsibility, nobody attempts to correct the problem, and Mozilla never takes the initiative to collaborate with Flash to ensure their product is top notch. Further, these companies do not even attempt to address the problem on their end and will never admit to having an issue with their product. The result is that I download Maxthon, Chrome, or some other browser.
But Mozilla and Flash are not alone. iTunes is now a terrible product and the new iOS has several issues with no attempt on Apple’s part to fix the issues and Windows 8 is a ridiculous operating system designed for computer incompetent individuals. Instead of correcting software problems, these companies repeat the mantra that the issue is on the part of the customer and not with the software. While blaming the victim may be reasonable to a marketing rep, it alienates the victim and makes them eventually loath the company laying blame upon the customer’s doorstep.

Like many others, I got the new iPad 3 and couldn't sync all of my photos. The best i got was 1,000 out of 15,000 to work. Today Apple released iTunes 10.6.1.7 and said the syncing issue was resolved. I erased my ipod cache and hit sync. Still locked.

Like many others, I got my new IPad 3 and could not sync all of my photos. The highest I got was 1,000 out of 15,000. Today Apple released iTunes 10.6.1.7 that , among other things, said it fixed the sync issue with photos. I excitedly, erased my ipod cache and hit sync. It looked like it was working, but just like before iTunes locked. This time at 2,244 of 15,000. Anybody have an idea of how to fix this?

What's the capacity of your iPad?
iTunes needs up to 3x of the actual size of the files you want to sync during the sync process. And syncing 15.000 photos could cross the size of the available free space on your device.
Don't forget that the pictures are now optimized for the retina display, so the size increases for each of them.

Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6 Do as Mylenium told you. If you don't know where it is. Go to www.adobe.com, sign in, search for the cc cleaner tool downloader and it should fix the issues. Have you went into your control panel, under programs and features and removed it from there?

TextBox and TextGraphic now call applyDisplayObjectProperties() at the end of their draw() method, like all other GraphicElements. This method handles setting the visibiliy of the GraphicElement's DisplayObject, among other things.
Note: We should make it unnecessary for each GraphicElement subclass to have to call applyDisplayObjectProperties() at the end of draw(). The GraphicElement base class should ensure that this gets called at the appropriate time.
Group now calls draw() on graphic elements even if they are invisible, because otherwise applyDisplayObjectProperties() never gets called and the TextLines stay visible. Group was assuming that the only visible stuff in a GraphicElement is drawn with Graphics calls, which isn't the case.
This change is OK for now because every GraphicElement currently has its own DisplayObject, but it will need to be rethought when GraphicElements share DisplayObjects.

General> Reset< Reset All Settings will work! Be careful not to erase! and you will have to redo all of your settings. Everything, ringers, even wifi will be lost! Big pain!!! I still dont have everything like I used to after the reset, but location services can be enabled again.

Mountain Lion won't allow me to save photos from Mail directly to iPhoto (as you could in all other recent OSX). Tried opening iPhoto and then click/drag each photo onto iPhoto icon on dock (as Help instructed) but the photo will not drag. Suggestions?

I have real a lot of posts that say to click Command+Option while opening iPhoto and this will open the Photo Library Repair window, but... this is not happening.
Be sure you're holding the correct keys and that you're holding them long enough. Depress them before clicking on iPhoto and don't let go until the menu shows up.
If you don't want to lose those photos, make a back up now. Hopefully it's not too late.

Where is the actual support for Adobe business Catalyst? Why can't I just phone someone like other software companies?

I am concerned by the 'non help' , customer service platitudes available to me as a customer. I was left 3 minutes to go through auto call filtration to be told that there is no-one to speak to. I am a new customer, clearly I have a different view of what customer service is. I wonder what exec has ever tested this? Anyone in their right mind could see that this is just plain poor and unacceptable.
No a great start, as we stand I will not be recommending this platform within my business community which amounts to 30 companies because I am nervous they will receive the same shoddy service.
Don't worry though, I only have a security breach and need urgent help.

Because they are a large US corporation that doesn't really want to talk to customers one on one. They hide behind call-centers and help sites that are hard to use. It's just better for the bottom line and no one person (or very few) knows enough to give you a useful answer. This is not just an Adobe problem. But large corporations generally suck at service. It's not good enough - but what are you going to do. That said we've had reasonable success with the online chat service - just takes days rather than minutes to get satisfactory answers.
You know it goes like this:-
"What seems to be the problem?",
You " I have this problem, I can't find information on X, Ca the BC do this?"
"Please wait while I check (consults documentation - probably the same docs we can see)"

15 minutes may have passed by this time, you have no useful answer (typically) and will have to wait 1 to 2 days for an answer (typically) and this is often "No sorry we don't support that right now".
This is typical, so generally we contact support as a last resort only. Google usually has better answers. But then this is what Adobe and most Large Software companies/Corporations want. You almost never get to talk to the "Horses mouth", a manager with clout, the product designer or developer.
We design, build and manage brand experiences for a number of large enterprises, personally we always recommend that these customers set up their support with real phone numbers and email along with contact forms (which I personally hate). In my mind typically you can deal with support matters in the fraction of the time if you can talk to someone directly who knows the product. A good telephone receptionist is 100 times more efficient than any call center (no matter what call center companies and software vendors tell you - the numbers lie). It means Happier customers. Better feedback to those who make the decisions.
Better all round. But usually companies don't see it that way. Managers want remove themselves as far as possible from customers everyday problems and let an underling or "the system" deal with it.
Maybe that's why few humans actually like dealing with large faceless corporations - yet we do, we put up with it - because they can get away with it.

Lightroom window behavior Not like all other Mac apps

Please Fix This:
When I click on the red button while in Lightroom (at the top of the window on the left, ref: the three buttons: red, yellow and green) it quits Lightroom.
This button usually (always) just closes the open window and does not shut down the app in all CS apps and all other apps I've ever known of on the Mac. This needs to be fixed to make Lightroom conform in behavior to other Macintosh applications.

Seriously, you need to think of Lightroom as a different sort of application.
It's not an image manipulation app like Photoshop and it;s not s simple lite–duty app like iCal. If you reduce your expectations on what you "think" Lightroom "should be doing, you'll end up being less frustrated....
Lightroom's main function is keeping track where the fu%&# are your images...
When the Michael & Seth show becomes available later this summer, you'll see just how important "where the fuc&$%# are my images" can become...

How do I download and reinstall Adobe Photoshop Elements 11? I have a new iMac and all other software converted except Photoshop...

I purchased a new iMac Retna Display and converted over my other software from my old iMac. Most all apps converted fine, however Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 just launched with an error stating we needed to reinstall the application. We have the original serial number but can not find a copy of Elements 11 on Adobe's site to download and reinstall. Also, we can not find any contact information for Adobe support even though the messages in the forum state we must contact adobe customer support to resolve this issue.

I have songs that have been purchased and they show up in my I tunes but the are not showing up bold like all other songs in my library, they will not let me download from the cloud and will not load onto my ipod.

Yeah. They have some opt out stuff in the normal download area. You should have been able to deselect it but it's easy to miss.

When are we going to get infinite scrolling for the S4. All other carriers have it on the S4 and it is frustrating that it is turned off for Verizon only.

All other carrier S4 phones have the option to turn infinite scrolling on/off. However with Verizon there is no option and it is turned off. Every forum I go to says that you have to root the device to turn it back on. VERIZON are you going to listen to the myriad of people the would like this option, a basic option advertised for the Samsung S4? Please PLEASE PLEASE give us the option back.
