Lima Ohio Elida Road Store
I try to avoid any Verizon owned store but today I went into the Elida road store for a clip for my phone.
As I walked into the store there was a guy doing nothing but typing on a tablet asking people how can I help you.
I told him I was looking for a clip for my phone and he waved to another guy and told him what I was looking for and that guy took off to the back
of the store.
About 15 minutes later I saw the second guy come out from the back of the store and start talking to some young girl and helping her.
I went back to the first guy and asked if there was an area of the store I could look at cases and clip for my phone and he
said no they are in the back.
I informed him that the guy he told to help me find one went to the back of the store and came out without saying a word and went
to another customer. I asked him if they are in the back how do I get one?
He just started playing with his tablet and gave no answer..
I then told him well I guess this store is not into selling anything just pick up young women and he just shrugged his shoulders and walked away.
This is why stores by Radio Hospital are doing better than yours in this area as those people actually give a crap about customers.
**** poor service for a company I have been with for over 15 years. Time for a change.
DIDDO..............................
I use my X for everything, sold my 400 dollar Garmin and replaced it with a 40 dollar car dock and ive got a X-GPS that will smoke anything out there. Been using it for a while with no issues and loving it. However, this last weekend I drove to the folk's place and was very disappointed to find out that it only works if you have cell phone signal. We drove about an hour threw a dead zone and i lost the maps all together, just a dot on the screen. This really wasnt an issue at the time because I have driven that rout my whole life, but left me to think, what if I was in unfamiliar territory, this method of navigation would leave me blind. Makes me wonder if i should pick up a cheap gps for back up, but that would really defeat the point in my opinion. Is there a way to download maps to have them oncall when not in a service area?

Is apple going to put in a Dayton ohio area store There is two in columbus and next biggest city dont have one in Dayton area?
Good to see the demand is there but you must make your enquiry through feedback (or write direct to Cupertino). No-one here can help.

WATSON ROAD MO (Store 42) customer service issues
I was at the Watson store in STL around 12:30 today. Looking forward to purchasing a Wii U, Mario Kart 8, and a couple accessories. I'm pretty versed in this stuff, but I had a couple questions about extra controllers and they kept the 'pro' controllers off the floor with a little sign that said ask for assistance to get one.
I was in the gaming section casually looking through games waiting for an associate to come around since I didn't see any when I came to that part of the store. After a solid 15-20 minutes I started looking around for someone to help and all I really found were other customers searching the store. It's a bigger store and quite honestly there was just no one at all except for the far wall where the computers and geek squad are.
I headed that way and saw about 6 or so associates standing around carrying on. As I approached the employees, a customer actually stopped me to ask me a question because they couldn't find help. I decided at that time to take my business elsewhere since no one at that Best Buy was really interested in customer service.
There aren't any great deals on Wii U's or games right now at BB and my local Gamestop is more than willing to help me answer questions and provide a good shopping experience. I've had better experiences at the Brentwood location, but it is further away and is a smaller store in general. I'm a reasonable guy and I'm not terribly angry at the situation, but this kind of dissapointing visit really just drives me directly to your competitors.Good afternoon witebuddha,
Thank you for taking the time to post to the forum about your recent visit to our Watson Road store. I really don't think anyone could blame you for feeling disappointed, and to be honest with you, I feel disappointed after reading about your experience. The associates are there to help answer questions our customers may have about the products we offer and it appears there were plenty of available associate, but you were still left waiting for more 20 minutes.
I do apologize for any inconvenience you experienced, as that is simply not the level of service that Best Buy strives to provide its customers. If an associate is not helping a customer, then I would hope that they would actively look for a customer to help. We care about our customers and should seize every opportunity to demonstrate that. I greatly appreciate your feedback and will make sure the store managers at our Watson Road store are made aware, as this is not an experience we want to duplicate.
I hope you have a great rest of your day, and let us know if there is any other way we can assist.

Price in store was different from the price on the website (in store only)
I saw on BB website a Toshiba Laptop listed as 379.99 and it says "in store only". So I went to a best buy store in Culver City and they didn't have the laptop but I was told that they had it at the best buy in Glendale. The guy at BB in Culver City was nice enough to try to call them but no one ever answered the phone. So I went to the store in Glendale. I Found the same laptop but I was told that the price would be $549, not $379.99. If the price changed or something, you guys should change it on your website as well.
Here's the deal. I just went to my Best Buy Store in Gulfport MS to get this Laptop, after shutting down my PC an 20 minutes before I got to the store. I got there and they told me that the sale on that particular laptop did not exist and never did. I tried to go online in the store with All the info I jotted down on this PC. The webs for the Toshiba laptops L305D-S5892 at 379.99 and L305D-S5893 at 479.99 NO LONGER EXIST. The sales guy chuckled when I said I got all the info with the SKU's from the Best Buy site. I just got home and tried to bring up the pages here. The pages come up NO LONGER EXIST. I just talked to a friend who tried to purchase the same PC's in OHIO and the store refused to honor the online price yesterday stating that it must have been a mistake and they then tried to sell her a Compaq with 1g ram and 160 g HD, it doesn't even have the required ram to run Vista according to Microsofts website Vista requires 2g of ram. and it was more expensive, compared to the Toshiba that was listed online the Compaq is crap. Another sales person took over and informed her that Best Buy often places these ad's online for in store purchase only but when you get there they do not honor the sale ad posted to their site. The sales rep told her it is kind of like a teaser ad, except it's falsely advertising what they have. They tell you that their store doesn't sell it and send you from store to store trying to find the sale item. Then when they get enough complaints they remove it from the site as though it never existed. Without the proof they can not be charged with false advertising. She stated that it common practice with Best Buy to do this on their electronics. This is BS if they post it they should honor it.

Limiting Memory Usage of Exchange 2010sp1 store.exe on a Windows 2012r2 Server?
Hello,
I am running Windows 2012r2 Server with Exchange 2010sp1, 1 forest and 6 mailboxes. So this is not a heavy load for Exchange 2010sp1 to handle. The problem is the Windows 2012r2 server is also used as a file storage server. The problem is the Exchange 2010sp1
is using most of the 16GB of ram available and slowing down the server. Is it possible to limit the Exchange 2010sp1 store.exe to use less memory and if so what are the steps in Windows 2012r2 to complete this task.
I have read that it can be done through ADSI Edit. But the steps they explain are not for Windows 2012r2 and do not match.
Thank You,
StanHi Stan,
Did you change msExchESEparamCacheSizeMax and msExchESEparamCacheSizeMin both attribute of Information Store?
Start ADSIEDIT.msc Navigate to Configuration > Services > Microsoft Exchange > <Organization Name> > Administrative Groups > <Administrative Group> > Servers > <Server Name> > InformationStore
http://eightwone.com/2011/04/06/limiting-exchange-2010-sp1-database-cache/
That ADSIEdit path shouldn't be different on Windows 2012 R2 because it doesn't depend on operating system and it should be always same in Configuration partition of Active Directory.
Besides....
Exchange 2010 SP1 (and SP2) is not supported now so suggest you upgrade to SP3. http://blogs.technet.com/b/rmilne/archive/2013/01/04/end-of-exchange-2010-sp1-support.aspx
Exchange 2010 (with any service pack or update rollups) is not (yet) supported to install on Windows 2012 R2 - http://technet.microsoft.com/library/ff728623(v=exchg.150).aspx -
I spent this afternoon searching through themes and personas , and installing the ones i liked.
i added about 50-60 themes to firefox , but later i noticed that i only have 30 personas (in add-ons manager > appearances )
So is there a limit to our installed themes ? obviously there is , but how can I add more themes and personas to my appearances collection ?
30 seems like a very low number... is there any way to overcome this limit and save and store more themes ?Firefox only stores data of a maximum number of personas (DEFAULT_MAX_USED_THEMES_COUNT=30)
*resource:///modules/LightweightThemeManager.jsm
If you install more personas then Firefox will remove other personas to make room for the new persona, so it is best to keep a list or bookmark the site of your favorite personas.
You can override that maximum by creating an Integer pref with the name lightweightThemes.maxUsedThemes and set its value accordingly.

Hi all,
I just got an iphone yesterday and am playing around with it. One question I have is, is it possible to log out of the app store? I ask because my phone is frequently in the hands of others and I would prefer them not be able to download and install apps that will cost me money.
I am aware that I can select none for a payment method, however then I have the hassle of logging in and changing my payment method whenever I want to purchase an app, hardly ideal.
Actually now that I think of it, is there a way I can require some extra password to install non-free applications? I don't much mind people installing free apps on my phone but I don't want to hand my phone to my neighbors 10 year old daughter and find out an hour later that I have a 600 dollar bill from applicationshatterson,
For the App Store as well as the iTunes WiFi Store, there is a 15 minute time-out limit on your iTunes Store account sign-in after you make a purchase. You need to sign back in to your iTunes Store account if you wish to make additional purchases and it has been longer than 15 minutes since your last purchase. Regardless of this, you can browse the iTunes WiFi Store or App Store.
With that said, unfortunately there is no way of signing out of your account during that 15 minute window. I would suggest enabling a passcode on your iPhone, and not handing it to others whom may innocently or not charge your account or otherwise engage in other unscrupulous behavior. That is really the best security all around.
Hope this helps,

Batman Arkham Origins PC game - No product code- horrible customer service- cannot install
I recieved this PC game as a gift and picked it up from the Morse Road store in Columbus Ohio. I could not install it beacause there was no product code in the box. I exchanged it for another one at the store and customer service opened 2 new copies in front of me both contained no product code. I was refused store credit and the clerk and the manager, Jake, were extremely rude and condesending, telling me I installed it wrong and I did not need a product code to install it.
I called the number on the receipt 888 229 3770 on 27 and 28 December and they could do nothing for me. I contacted WB games on 29 December and have heard nothing back from them.Hello florida2nz,
I can imagine you were really excited to play this game after you picked it up and I’m really sorry that you’ve had such difficulty in getting everything required to perform the install. The activation key for this game should be inside the packaging and is something we’re unfortunately not able to obtain through any other method. It has been my experience that these codes can sometimes be a bit hidden within all the inserts in a game box, so I would encourage you to ensure that you’ve gone over every page to see if it may be in an odd spot. If you’re unable to locate it, you would need to exchange the game again or work with WB Games to see if they’re able to assist.
Thanks for reaching out to us on the forum, and please feel free to let me know if you have any additional questions or concerns.
Sincerely,

end;As there is change in requirement now I need to read the multiple supplier sites at the header level. Current this is my structure please give an idea how to read the mulitple sites as one record, probably i can increase the supplier site columns at table level so as to capture second site level information.
But if in case if i receive that time it should not fail please provide some good solution for this issue.
Thanks in advance for your help.

NagendraHi odie,
Thanks for your response. But here my supplier site will always be maxiumum 2 times and minimum 1 time. My thinking is to fit this one in the existing code by repeating the supplier site only like this

I mean only the first in the xml tags and leave the second xml. As there is not much significant for the second one.
I appreciate your ideas on this, as the structure we are following is to rigid so I don't have much options to explore, please provide me your inputs in this context.
Thanks for your help.

Can not deploy Oracle Spatial Routing Engine on Oracle Weblogic
I posted my question with Oracle Support, however they directed me to the oracle forums. I am hoping this problem can be resolved here. In any event I am getting the following stack trace (shown below). I am using Spatial Version 11.2.0.1.0, Map Viewer 11.1.1.5.1, and WebLogic 10.3.5.0, and data-set provided by Pro Oracle Spatial for Oracle Database 11g - Apress boos. I have successful in deploying Map Viewer, Geocoder Server, but not the Routing Server.
Below is the stack trace:

VZW Customer Service is a Joke (3332 Error Still A Huge Issue)
I've been using an old (original) Razr flip phone, and recently had the opportunity to purchase a (never used) Razr2 that missed the 3/2011 update. Before forking over a single penny, I googled the 3332 error. It brought me to these very pages where a very helpful Verizon employee (helpful Verizon employee being an oxymoron these days) named MikeS_VZW posted on several different threads about how to fix the 3332 error.
He posted a direct filepath for store employees to follow, and he also posted a list of phones that the flash would work for. (By the way, all those threads are now locked for some reason.) It was based on this information - a Verizon Wireless Employee posting on the Verizon Wireless Website, that I decided to fork over the money and buy this new phone.
So a few days ago I head to the Encino, CA store and am told that they don't have any computers at all that a phone can be hooked up to and that he didn't think any stores are able to flash phones. But he did go in back and call around. Turns out that the Flagship stores are still able to flash phones and that the nearest Flagship store was in Porter Ranch.
Today I went to the Porter Ranch, CA Verizon Wireless Flagship store. Upon entering I explain that I was sent there from Encino to have my phone flashed. I show him a printout of MikeS_VZW's filepath & instructions. The greeter tells me that he doesn't know why they keep sending people to his store but that he will have someone help me out.
Jean Carlo comes over and I explain the whole thing to him again. First thing that he tells me is that Encino could have done it saving me a extra 30 miles (15 miles each way). Well I say that they told me only Flagship stores could Flash my phone. He tells me Panorama City is also a Flagship store (and only about 4 miles away from me). But whatever, I'm already in the Porter Ranch Store...
I show him the printout and without looking at it he responds that he knows how to flash a phone. He then goes on to tell me that he can flash my phone but if it burns out, which has happened, then they aren't responsible and I would have to pay the insurance deductible to get a new phone.
Again, I WOULD HAVE TO PAY MONEY OUT OF MY POCKET, IF THE VERIZON WIRELESS FLAGSHIP STORE EMPLOYEE RUINED MY VERIZON PHONE WHILE TRYING TO GET IT TO PROPERLY WORK ON THE VERIZON WIRELESS NETWORK. Gotcha.
I told him to go ahead, because if it burned out then I would revert to my super old original Razr and then just wait it out til the end of my contract.
Ten or so minutes later and brings my phone back as it's still restarting and asks if there's anything else. I say no and he walks away. As soon as it restarts I try to download Backup Assistant and I of course get the 3332 Errror.
I go to find Jean Carlo, but he's with a customer...20-30 minutes later, I show him the printout of the filepath that he previously refused to look at and ask if that's the filepath he followed because I'm still getting the error message. He tells me to hold on, takes the printout and goes to talk to someone. 5-10 minutes later Benjamin the manager approaches me and says that they can't follow specific filepaths, they can only flash phones with whatever software they have on their computers which are sent to them by Verizon.
I explain that this is a fix posted to the Verizon Website, by a Verizon Employee and am told that there is nothing they can do and that I should call tech support.
As soon as I got in my car I called 611 customer service to complain about the runaround that I had gotten which resulted in nothing being done to fix the problem that Verizon themselves created. The cs rep (whose name I didn't get) told me that it sounded like an issue for tech support. So my call to complain about getting the runaround results in getting more runaround.
I was transferred to Buddy. I explained everything to him, told him about this forum and asked him to pull it up. He was unable to because their computers are very slow and the page kept timing out before it could load (VERY TELLING). He did mention though that anyone could post on the forums that MikeS_VZW might not be a Verizon employee. Buddy's solution was that he offered to replace my new phone (old, out of stock model, but still new and never before used) with a "like new" refurb. This option would 1) not cost me anything, and 2) not require a contract extension. The only 3 phone choices he gave me are all garbage. I wouldn't take any of those phones if I was offered free service to use them. And even if I were willing to try one out to see if it was acceptable, I'd have to send them my Razr2, so I'd be stuck with the garbage once it proved to be garbage. And since he was unable to pull up this forum to see that there is a fix, I asked to speak to a supervisor.
I was then transferred to Brandon. While his computer was super slow as well, he was able to open the forum and see the filepath that MikeS_VZW had posted. I asked him to verify that we are in agreement that MikeS_VZW is (or at least was) a Verizon employee. He conceded that it appeared that he was. A lot of back and forth later, he promised to call stores in my area to see if he could find one that could and would be able to fix my phone. But before he did that, I asked him if he was able to open the filepath that MikeS_VZW had listed. He tried and said that it had been moved to a different location. He looked to for in that new location and still no luck. Therefore, if he wasn't able to find it, what was the point of asking a store to follow a path to a destination that didn't exist.
That 611 call lasted 02h 01m 31s. Plus the 45m-1h I spent in the Porter Ranch. All for nothing. All because Verizon has obsolete information posted in it's help forums.
There was a reply to a (now locked) post dated as recently as February 13, 2013, a mere month ago, saying that they went into a store in Columbus Ohio, and that store was able to fix the problem. Why does one hand not know what the other one is doing.
Is there anyone else that has had this issue resolved recently?
I have been a Verizon Wireless customer for over 10 years, since before it was called Verizon Wireless (I started with Airtouch). Slowly but surely, year by year, month by month, and day by day, their service, as in customer service (not wireless service) has steadily gone downhill. They do not care about their customers. They only care about their customers money.
I have 3 phones in service with Verizon, and as soon as the contract expires on the last one in July, I'm dropping them as fast as they drop calls in the canyons.
Q: Why create that update in 3/2011 that removed functionality from all the basic/non-smartphones?
A: Cashmoney*
By removing functionality you force your customers to upgrade their phones. (Cashmoney)
By forcing your customers to upgrade their phones you force your customers to sign new 2-year contracts. (Cashmoney)
By forcing your customers to sign new 2-year contracts when you basically offer nothing but smartphones, you effectively force your customers to switch to a smartphone. (Cashmoney)
By forcing your customers to switch to a smartphone you force your customers to add data plans. (Cashmoney)
Q: Why start charging a $30 upgrade fee when it used to be free to upgrade?
A: Cashmoney
Dear Verizon, may I please please pretty please pay you $30 for the privilege to continue paying you every month? (Cashmoney)
Q: Why eliminate the unlimited data plan and move to an obtusely structured tier system?
A: Cashmoney
Hey Verizon, do you think there's any way it's possible for me to pay you more, but get way less? Why don't you guys look into that and see what you can come up with. (Cashmoney)

2. We are not all customers here, Verizon employees are constantly posting on these boards.
3. There was a post on a previous thread by a customer who had the issue resolved. That post was dated February 13, 2013. https://community.verizonwireless.com/thread/493678?start=122&tstart=0
4. You, personally, might not need to know what every single person said in every single discussion, but I wanted the Verizon employees that troll these boards to see what >Comment Deleted<they put their customers through.

How can I move my photos from Mac to iCloud?
I want use my iCloud account but I don't know how can I leave my files in iCloud. I use a MacBook pro and I need leave some pictures just in iCloud...and take off from my Mac.
iCloud is not a photo storage service and Photo Stream is a tool to share photos rather than to back them up. For the most part iCloud is about sharing your data between devices. It does have some back up features such as storing your iOS devices back up but most media should be propperly backed up using your computer's back up routines.
In iPhoto you can send a copy of a photo to your Photo Stream by selecting it and clicking the "Share" button. Photo Stream has a 1000 photo limit and will only store them for 30 days. I have not come close to the 1000 photo limit nor have any of my photos been deleted after 30 days, but I still wouldn't use it for a back up. -
Need advice on creating 2nd account for child
Hi,
I have an iTunes account on my single user Mac that I've been using for years. My son just got an iPod and I want to set up an account for him to be able to download music, movies, apps etc for his use. Is this possible with only a single user account system or do I need to set up a login account for him too? I want to be able to set limits for him too like dollar limits per month, movie rating limits (PG) etc. I see where I can set rating limits for my account but I don't see how those will change when he uses the system.
Any advice will be appreciated.I would suggest you set him up his own user account in Mac OS X. That will be a lot less fuss, and you can use the Parental Controls in Mac OS X and iTunes in his account to control what he can access without having to limit your own use.
To give him a dollar limit in the iTunes Store, set him up his own iTunes Store account and either buy him prepaid iTunes cards or gift certificates or set him up an allowance. For more information on these options, see:

Wichita bestbuy unbelievable negative experience...
Dear Best Buy, first of all, I am a fun of your store and most of times, I have great time shopping there with many helpful stuffs. However, today was Different....
I had $115.00 award certificates I earned ready to use purchase a new headphone. I arrive to Wichita, KS East Rock Road store and carrying the product to purchase. One of sales associates kindly told me that he can check this out for me quicker at the one of cashiers. I told him that i had certificates to use along the store credits card. Well, he made a mistake in transactions.. He pulled my certificates from my account and voided the purchase.. Now, the certificates disappeared from my account before I can make the purchase. He took me to the customer service to regain my certificates. I waited at least 30 minutes while the associates tried to fix the problems. Then, this assistant manager showed up. He was simply very rude to me. He asked what's going on and simply made me ultimatum - we can't get the certificates back today, so either you go home and come back when certificates comes back again, or pay a full price to take the product.. I was very frustrated. I waited over 30 minutes over the mistake made my bestbuy associate and this manager refuse to fix the situation, but tell me go home. He refused to fix the problem created by one of staff members and no apologies. Now, I'm concern with this disappeared $115 certificates, so...I explained to him that what's happened my disappeared certificates. He said it should come back in a few days. I asked a written document, so I can assure that it will come back.... He refused to give me any documents that the best buy made the mistake of transactions. He just said just see him in a few days if this does not come back on my account, so I asked of his last name, he said we don't give the last name out.
Now I'm in the hotel room really upset wit this experience, worrying about my lost $115.00. I just can't believe this experience and how could the best treat a costumer like this? I don't even know where to complains, so I'm posting a note here.Hi Wichitabestbuy,
Thank you for taking the time to sign up for the forum and post about your recent visit to our Wichita, KS store. I can understand feeling frustrated if you went to the store with the intention of redeeming $115 in certificates but left without knowing what had exactly happened to them. If the certificates were never actually redeemed and they have not expired, you should still be able to use them. The certificates point values ($115 = 5750 points) should repost to your My Best Buy™ account within about 3 to 6 business days.
I am very sorry for any inconvenience you may have experienced, and I definitely do agree with you. We should have extended an apology to you as soon as it was recognized that a mistake had been made. I am not going to act as if mistakes never happen because as the old saying goes, nobody is perfect. That includes Best Buy; however, when an obvious mistake is made, we should stand by that mistake and make sure it is resolved in the end.
With that all being said, if for some reason you do not see the certificates point value repost to your My Best Buy™ account by the end of the day on 7/14/2014, please send me a private message and I will make sure they are added to account. You can send a private message by clicking on the blue button located within my signature.
