Limit of 50 uploads to SmugMug

I get a message to the effect of "only 50 pictures can be uploaded per session while using the demo version of Aperture"
I have purchased the full version some time ago after using up my trial period. I am using SmuginProForAperture to upload. It seems to still be registering my software as just the trial version for some reason.
This is quite annoying any help would be greatly appreciated!

I've successfully uploaded more than that. Check the license key in the SmuginPro plug-in. You probably need to enter it somewhere.

  • Is there a size limit with the upload method ?

    Hi,
I wrote an air application (with js and html) to upload files from local disc to a webserver, using a php script to uplad the file. When testing, every thing is ok wonly with files less than 8 mb, if I try to upload a 8mb file or more, there is no error message, but the file is not uploaded !!
Is there any file size restriction in air ?
    I configured my php.ini :
    upload_max_filesize = 100M
well but the strange thing is that phpmyadmin tells me that the maxsize for imported files is 8mb...

In fact there is no limit, the problem is with my php server, the size was limited by the php.ini post_max_size parameter !!!
Have a look on this :

  • Size limit for files uploaded to htmldb_application_files

    Hi,
Is there any size limit for files which are to be uploaded to htmldb_application_files (and then stored as BLOB in db)?
    Regards,

    Hi Tom,
the only limitation is that the BLOB data type is 4GB
    large.
So you can store max. 4 GB data in BLOB.Did you mean BFILE? Depending on the version, size limit is between 8TB and 128TB, as in the 10g2 documentation:
    PL/SQL LOB Types

  • Files size limit for vimeo upload

    Hi,
There is a warning sign that says ''publishing movies bigger than 5 GB may fail''. Why is that ? I have a vimeo pro account (I can dowload up to 20 GB per week. Does vimeo have file size limits for uploads ?

hello, I did some research on this question and found this:
"Vimeo does not have a maximum file size for uploads, however, there is a maximum of 500MB of uploading per week, making the maximum file size effectively 500MB. That's with a free account; if you pay to join Vimeo Plus the maximum weekly upload limit raises to 5GB"
So, maybe you can try to convert your video to another format in small file size? Or maybe you can trim video to make it smaller.  If you want to try these suggested methods, this software can help you out: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/video-mate/id592736614?ls=1&mt=12

  • Limit the filesize upload and resize a blob image in a report

I'd like to know how to do both.. I have a file browse that uploads images to my application. It's called P34_IMG1. I would like to limit the file dimensions to a maximum of 200 x 300 px (but it can be less) and have a limit of 1MB in filesize.
As well as the above, I'd like to know how to resize this image into a 'thumbnail' of sorts that shows the image much smaller in a report. The image shows but they are too big. How do I resize them?
    Thanks much
    -J

oh I didn't see this reply, Tony. Sorry.
No I don't have the image like that in the report, the report's query is like this:
    select * from (
    select      "LOTS"."LOTID" as "LOTID",
          "LOTS"."LOTNAME" as "LOTNAME",
          "LOTS"."ADD1" as "ADD1",
          "LOTS"."ADD2" as "ADD2",
          "LOTS"."ADD3" as "ADD3",
          "LOTS"."COUNTRY" as "COUNTRY",
          "LOTS"."MESSAGE" as "MESSAGE",
          "LOTS"."APPSTATUS" as "APPSTATUS",
          "LOTS"."SENDERMESSAGE" as "SENDERMESSAGE",
          "USERS"."USERNAME" as "USERNAME",
             dbms_lob.getlength("IMG1") as "IMG1"
    from      "USERS" "USERS",
          "LOTS" "LOTS"
    where   "LOTS"."USERID"="USERS"."USERID" AND (UPPER("USERS"."USERNAME") = UPPER (:APP_USER)))
    where (
    instr(upper("APPSTATUS"),upper(nvl(:P40_SEARCH,"APPSTATUS"))) > 0
)and the IMG1 column in the report attributes has the number/date format as IMAGE:LOTS:IMG1:LOTID::::::inline:Download. So I don't know how to use this to resize the images, unfortunately.

  • Photoshop Elements 5 no longer permits email upload to Smugmug

As of this morning my Photoshop Elements 5 program does not offer the email option to "Send to Smugmug."    It only offers the choice of emailing, emailing to mobile phone and share with Adobe showcase.  I have tried the solution of editing preferences and making sure that US and Canada is my location  which was suggested to a person having a similar problem but that solution did not work.  Is there anything else I can do to get back my ability to upload photos to Smugmug.   Feeling desperate.  (PS I am an not very computer literate senior citizen).  Thanks!

No I don’t think it’s personal to your computer. I think the way we now connect to social networks and photo sharing sites has moved on a bit. By all means give PSE10 a go. You can use the PSE10 trial free for 30 days and can download it at the link below. Personally I think $79 is a lot to pay for an uploaded (Google Chrome is free) so the trial will let you check out all the new features without a commitment.

  • Newbie question - uploading to Smugmug from PSE 7

Pardon me if this was already answered, a simple question.  Recently installed PSE 7 on Win XP and created an album from a recent vacation trip.  I would like to upload the album to my Smugmug gallery.  I don't see options for Smugmug/Flickr/... in the 'More Options' menu within 'Share'.  I have set my location to 'USA & Canada', it says all services are up to date, but I see none of these online photo sharing services.  Any help will be appreciated.
    A frustrated newbie.

Thank you John, McPap, and Barbara for sharing your suggestions.  I based my decision to go with SmugMug for hosting my photos because users in several discussion forums indicated support for uploading pictures to SmugMug from tools like PSE, F-Spot, etc.  Anyway, back to the issue I wrote about:  I followed up with Adobe support and tried the following procedures, all in vain ending up with the conclusion that the downloaded software that I have installed may have been corrupted resulting in the online services access not working.  So they are going to ship me the software on a CD (free of charge as I had already paid for the software) and will give that a try.  Here are the options that the support technicians (I had to call a couple of times) recommended me do:
    1.  Delete c:\Documents and Settings\<USER>\Application Data\Adobe\PhotoShop Elements\7.0\Organizer\OLS - to download online services information again and replace any corrupted information - did not work.
    2.  Create a new user account with Administrator privileges, logout, and log back in as the new user and start PSE to download online services information for the new user - also did not work
    3.  Uninstall PSE, reboot, re-install while logged in as an Admin user, and restart PSE - also did not work
Finally, the 2nd support technician I worked with concluded that the downloaded software was the common element that could have been corrupted and causing this issue.  I should be getting PSE 7 on a CD next week.  I will update this post with any progress I make and hopefully this will help others if they are facing the same issue.
Regarding McPap's comment about being in the UK and access to SmugMug, the support technician did ask me at one point to verify my location choice, as non-US locations do not have access to the full list of online services which includes SmugMug.  I do not understand the reasoning for this, but that is the way PSE works.

  • File size limit for webdav upload

    Dear Experts,
we set up what we thought to be a restriction of the file size allowed for upload. We did this in the portal via
System administration --> system configuration --> Knowledge Management --> Protocols --> WebDav --> Max WebDAV request size: 15728640 bytes.
We would have expected that to not allow us uploading any files larger than 15 MB. Turns out we were wrong and it does not work. Here is a http-trace of an upload of a 21 MB file.
Note the content length in the outbound message is 21832627.

Would anyone know any other way of preventing the upload of large files via a webDAV client?
    Thank you very much.
    Regards
    Michael

    Hi Michael,
This cannot be possible in portal but you can upload the max size file through portal drive or webdev . Through portal drive you can upload 50mb or any format file size you can upload through portal but portal you cannot upload you can get the message of file uploading failure or connectivity issues like these messgae appears at every interval so go through the portal drive or webdev.
But best option for uploading huge file size is Portal drive. This will helpful for you.

  • Files are not getting updated in sharepoint 2013 because of office upload center error

    Dear Team,
I am getting upload failed/upload error in Office Upload Center.
Scenario: I opened excel(version is 2013) file from sharepoint 2013 application and closed and after updating. Later when I opened the file I got error like "UPLOAD FAILED We are sorry this didn't work. Try saving again later and if that still doesn't
    work, click save a copy."
I found the error is because file is getting upload failed / upload error in microsoft office upload center2013.
Please let me know if anyone know the solution for my issues
    Thanks in Advance
    Girish

    Hi Girishkg,
The default IIS limit for the upload file size is 30MB. If the selected files are larger than 30MB, the files are not uploaded.
The limit can be set in web application’s web.config file or in IIS .
There are two detailed articles about setting the limit:
    http://www.brainlitter.com/2009/07/13/sharepointcannot-upload-documents-larger-than-30mb-on-windows-server-2008-or-sbs-2008-application-servers/

  • Flat-File Upload - Large File Size

    Hello,
i have to upload a very large flat-file with a size of 200 to 300 MB. The upload from the presentation server (local win xp client) fails after exceeding the time limit, because the upload performs in online-mode. I have to approaches to fix the problem.
    1. Upload the file to the application server and start upload in batch-mode.
    2. Upload the file to the application server and access/read the with "open dataset & read read dataset" line-by-line and write with a function-module into an transactional ODS-Object.
Please provide me with informations/hints about your experience in dealing with large flat files.
    Thanks & best regards

    Hello Markus
I would suggest you to place the file in the app server and upload in background mode.
    This is from SAP Help,
If you want to upload a large amount of transaction data from a flat file, and you are able to specify the file type of the flat file, you should create the flat file as an ASCII file. From a performance point of view, uploading the data from an ASCII file is the most cost-effective method.
In certain circumstances, generating an ASCII file might involve a larger workload.
    Hope it helps
    Thanks

  • Set a max Upload quantity dreamwaver php and mysql

    The issue,
using dreamweaver php and mysql I Would like to set a max
quantity limit on file upload per user. i.e max 5 uploaded images
    allowed per user.
Here is a basic example of the creation. Just need the
implementation of how to set a max upoad limit.
    create table authors(
id int not null auto increment primary key,
    name varchar(10) not null
    image_quantity tinyint(1),
    create table images(
    aid int not null,
    image_filename varchar(50),
    foreign key (aid) references authors(id)
User id 1 would upload a file into the table images from a
php or html webpage. i.e set values "thomas.jpeg", "1"
i want to set a max upload of 5 images per user. (a folder

I could add a field of max_upload tinyint(1) to the table

images entered by a user into the images table and add a +1 to each
added. Problem is i dont know how to create that script or mysql
querty in order to enter into a recorset for example.
As anyone have any ideas of the best way to set a max

  • How can I upload my resume on line application

I was filling a job application on line and I got to the point where the process asked me to upload my resume to the application and I click on the upload ikon and I look in my macbook and I found the document. But I got a messege that said that the document wasn't compatible. So I look in the internet on how to go about that and saw several ways to do so but none of them work for me can any one help?

And, if submitting in Word format, Pages v5.5.1 explodes the document size to 500Kb or greater. Many sites that allow you to upload a résumé place a size limit on that upload (100Kb is typical). You will have to open and resave the Pages v5.5.1 Word export in MS Word, or LibreOffice to get the size back down to double-digit file size. Then you can upload it successfully.

  • Error uploading published course to LMS

I am receiving an error message when I try to upload a published course into my LMS.  The file is really big (583 MB) so not sure if that is the problem.  I have been able to upload all my other published courses - which are smaller - with no problems.

You're probably correct that the sheer size of the SCORM package is the problem.  Most LMS servers have some kind of upper limit on the upload size.  This is usually in the range of 50-100 megabytes, though I have seen several that were lower than 20 meg.  I've never seen an LMS that would welcome a 500 meg SCORM by default.
Error messages are not often going to tell you EXACTLY what the issue is. So check with the LMS Administrator to find out what the upload size limit is.
