Limit user to send out amount of smtp mail.

I am running groupwise 8.0.2 and was wonder if there is any restrict on individual user to send out certain amount of message within a day?

    If you have defined the addressees as a group in your address book, you can just use that one group name. Otherwise you need to select them all from the address book list. A quick way to select all is to turn on the Contacts sidebar (F9), single left click one of them and then hold down the Control key and type A (Control-A). That should highlight all of them. Then click 'Add to Bcc".

  • Trouble sending out email with E-mail "app"

    In order to not  paying any data usage, I called Verizon and have my data access blocked.  However, I still can receive MMS. I have no problem using wi-fi to check my  Yahoo email using the email "app" but I can't send any email out with the same app.   Please help.

    I had same issue with not being able to send emails via my Yahoo account (and no problem sending on Hotmail).  As previous post suggested, I deleted the pre-set Yahoo account, then set it up manually as POP account.  Here are the settings that worked for me, I can now send (and receive) on my Yahoo account via WiFi. 
    Incoming Host Name: pop.att.yahoo.com
    Outgoing Host Name: smtp.att.yahoo.com 
    Incoming/Outgoing User Name: Full Yahoo email address, including domain (e.g., [email protected])
    Password: Your password
    Now tap the "Advanced" tab on the upper left and set up the port #'s as follows:  
    Incoming mail port #: 995, secure connection (SSL) checked
    Outgoing mail port #: 465, secure connection (SSL) checked

  • Help my Exchange 2013 server is sending out thousands of spam mails!

    Hi all,
    today i noticed that my Exchange server was using 100% cpu and memory.I noticed that edgetransport service was using all the resource.
    Then i opened queue viewer and saw thousands of mails in the queue.Then then get the annoying message that it cannot show more than 1000 messages.I click ok and stop the refreshing.I could mark all e-mails and choose suspend,but after that it starts to refresh
    and same annoying message keeps popup (cant display more than 1000 messages)
    So i have blocked all incoming port 25 on my TMG and also blocked all trafic out from the mail server.
    I than ran the following command on My exchange server : Remove-Message -Server mail01 -filter {status -eq "suspended"} -WithNDR $false
    Doesnt seem it helped,since there are still over 1k messages in the queue!
    I deleted the queue folder under C:\Program Files\Microsoft\Exchange Server\V15\TransportRoles\data\ and it re-created new folder.Still all queue arent removed.
    How can i remove all messages in the queue viewer?
    I also find it strange why outsiders manage to relay on my server,since i only set allow for couple of internal servers?
    Scanned those and no virus there (i dont use those servers to download anything)
    any advice please?

    Would take me to much time to remove one ID by one,since i had over 3k in the queue.
    Ended up with the following command:
    Remove-Message -Filter {FromAddress -like "*@*"} -WithNDR $false
    Remove-Message -Filter {FromAddress -like "*<>*"} -WithNDR $false
    First will remove all messages that contains @ 
    Second will remove all messages that contains <> (seems like lots had this in fromaddress)
    Then finally all gone and cpu and mem back to normal.
    Now have to find a way to block all IPs from China and Russia on my TMG!

  • (0x80040102) When trying to send or recieve POP/SMTP mail

    I was previously running Windows 7 and Office 2010 and had Outlook configured identical to the configuration I'm using now.  I'm now receiving (0x80040102) error when sending mail to and from internet mail providers configured in new system configuration
    - Windows 8 and Office 2013.  From what I have read, it appears to be an issue with the ActiveSync.

    Do you mean you are using Hotmail with EAS profile?
    This behavoir should be by design. We cannot move the item from other internet mailbox or Exchange mailbox into the EAS profile due to Exchange ActiveSync doesn't support this.

    If that is the case, what would you consider a work around?  In the past I used Office 2010 with the Hotmail connector to deliver mail to subfolders as part of my Outlook profile.  ie:  Outlook was configured with Hotmail using the connector
    as the primary data file but used GMail as the primary mail account. In this configuration, GMail's mail was delivered to the Inbox in Hotmail.

    For some reason, the last couple of days my mail will no longer send out.
    The e-mails that I want to send just sit in my outbox.
    I don't know what to do...

    From what venues are you experiencing this failure -- home or cafes? In a few cases, the ISP will simply NOT allow the use of SMTPs other than the one they provide. In those cases you have no choice but to use the SMTP provided by your ISP as the Outgoing Server, even in your .mac account.
    With that background, please review your problem and what you have tried. I tried to review your other posts, but I think you need to provide me a summary, as I have to run now.

    Pls help me! I believe my Mail started to behave strangely when I update the latest security patch or OSX to 10.4.5 ... am using Mail 2.0.7 now...
    Everything look and work fine for my mail server... I can download all email that people send to me, and it's seems like I can send out email to my friends too...
    **** No! Mail seems to work fine when I try sending out email. No error msg, no blockage... everything looks just alright. But my friends have complained to me that they didnt received a single email from me...
    1.feeling something wrong, I called up my Mail server hosting company to check my mail and they say nothing is wrong.
    2. I do a roundtrip testing, by sending email from my own account to my own account. I send out about 10 over mail... nothing was received.
    3. I do a disk verification using Disk Utility. No error detected.
    4. Decided to download a third-party email client program to test, IT'S WORK!
    I can use other email client program to send out and able to receive!
    Conclusion is, if I use Mail to send out my email, it will send out but eventually disappear before reaching the recipient. Something must be wrong with my System or Mail... but I've run out of idea on how to solve it...am getting very desperate at the current situation... hopefully there are some genius or knowledgable kind soul fellow that can help me on this mystery error... hereby, thanks alot fto anyone who offer their help to me. greatly appreciated.

    Nothing in any update should have caused this, and clearly has not for most people -- therefore we should seek an answer aside from waiting for some unknown update.
    What type of account do you have -- POP, IMAP or .mac. In Mail Preferences, what are the selections in Mailbox Behaviors for this account?
    In the Finder, open Home/Library/Mail/Mailboxes -- is there an Outbox.mbox folder, and is it represented by a blue Icon? At Home/Library/Mail/this account folder, are there both a Drafts.mbox folder, and Sent Messages.mbox folder, and are both blue icons?

  • E-sourcing couldn't send out E-mail notification of new user.

    Dear experts,
    I got stuck on SMTP issue when configuring a E-sourcing sandbox, when I created some Buy-side users, the system was not able to send out the notifications but all stuck in "Queued Messages" .
    I browsed in the system, the settings related with the SMTP function including below items:
    1: "Source Email" in Company Properties, this email address is going to be indicated as the sender of a new user notification;
    2: "Messaging" configuration in System Properties:
    ( messaging messaging.smtp.mailhost
      messaging messaging.smtp.password
      messaging messaging.smtp.username )
    I have set up above fields as the same as a working E-sourcing application, but my sandbox still doesn't work for me, the new user created can't receive the notification to become a valid user of the system, so they will not be able to logon to the system without password information.
    Would you please advice me what should I do, any of your response in highly appreciated!

    Please verify a couple of things:
    1. Is the functional e-sourcing box is running on the same version of Sandbox version (which you are configuring)
    2. Verify that "New User" notification template is set to active in the email templates setting through setup
    3. If no issues with 1 and 2 then would suggest to clear mail queue from backend and try generating a new email

    I have turned on logging on all channels i have one main tcp_local channel, but the logging shows only information about message - from-to, reason. But does not show information about real source.
    1) how can I see, "who" is sending huge amount of mail?
    2) How can I drop connection, diallow this user for time or manage this user connections?

    e.g. enable LOG_USERNAME to see the user that authenticated, and LOG_CONNECTION to see additional IP connection information.

  • HT1529 Having problem with receiving & sending out e-mail. Imap &Smtp acct failed verify username & password  I don't remember my yahoo password

    We have too many passwords. Now I am not able to receive or send out e-mails. apparently the connections doctors telling me the IMAP account failed tha I had to verify username & password do not match.  I don't remember the password I used as I have changed the password 4 times in the last hour and I am confused. How do I get to the area that I can check the IMAP & the SMTP password. If I changed the Apple ID password would that be the same password. My username is my yahoo address. Now do I go to yahoo.com to change that password? Unfortunately, I have to wait till next Thursday to do a one to one. That is the earliest.
    I am really confuse and not good with computers. Please help.

    I am not sure when this changed, I keep mine saved in the browser because I do not like to login to every site I visit. But on new test devices lately the login for the sumo site has required that I use the user name, not the email. (For you this would be just Tanker or the username that appears inthe profile)

    I had this problem too but I fixed it today.
    Go to the mail menu preferences.
    Click on account in question.
    Select the outgoing SMTP mail server (the one offline), this has a drop down list, click on the edit server list.
    Click on the advanced button.
    Make sure use default port is checked.
    Make sure SSL is unchecked (unless your provider requires it, mine does not work with it checked).
    Have authentication set to password.
    User name should be your email address for that account.
    Make sure correct password is entered (for some strange reason my password box was blank on this account).
    Push the ok button.
    For me the SSL box was checked and the password was missing. This is strange to me considering I have unchecked the SSL Box on the mail preference advance page. Also, I went through the complete set up account when I first created the account, why was my outgoing server password box empty?

  • Exchange stops receiving SMTP emails when sending large amount of invoices.

    We have an exchange server and a computer with an invoicing program loaded on it. At various times of the month, the invoicing program will go through our database and generate email invoices. The problem comes when we try to send them all at once. (Roughly
    800 invoices) Each email is slightly different and each email only has one destination, but if we try to send more than about 50 at a time the exchange server will receive the first roughly 100 (amount varies) and then not receive the rest though the sending
    app says all messages were sent. I'm sure the issue lays with exchange because we used a simple free smtp mail server program for testing and it received them all without issue.  Is there a place where you set how many SMTP messages the server will
    accept in a single session/connection?  Looking at the queue I can also see that the messages arrive one after another at roughly 2-3 second intervals.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I would check Message Throttling on the Exchange server.  Specifically the Set-ReceiveConnector settings for MaxInboundConnectionPercentagePerSource
    and MaxInboundConnectionPerSource.

    Hello, people!  I am loving Skype, but I have an issue. Recently, a user with malicious intent entered one of the group conversations I'm in on Skype. This user then proceeded to copy all the usernames of this group's members.  This user has programmed a bot that sends out those Skype usernames on a site called "Omegle". This has resulted in loads of unwanted contact requests for all people involved, and it is rather frustrating.  I can provide the username of this user if required, but have decided against posting it in this thread because of privacy concerns.  I was wondering if any steps could be taken to eliminate this issue. Unfortunately, I am aware that this problem may be out of Skype's reach. I have also sent an email to Omegle in an attempt to solve this problem.  Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I hope to hear back!
