Limited destinations during scheduling

Client wants to be able to hide destination options to only those selected within the appropriate server configuration parameters, meaning, I have allowed BO Inbox (Default) and email, however, when a user goes to schedule a document, they still have 4 options.
Client finds this extremely annoying and I can't say I disagree... thoughts on this are appreciated!

to make it short, that is not possible. I did also faced this Question often.
You have to manual edit the relevated .jsp File in Tomcat so that these Options disappear. But if you customize .jsp files from InfoView you loose your Support!

An error saying 'Error during scheduling' is logged while running Run order sequencing in Production Planning Run and the job is failed.
Checked the capacity of the resource but seems ok.
The below long text is displayed next to the error message.
Error during scheduling
Message no. /SAPAPO/OM043
Diagnosis
The system could not schedule an order, operation or activity.
This could have the following causes:
The resource does not have any free working time or capacity.
If you have set planning direction backwards in the strategy profile:
There is not enough working time or capacity available for scheduling between now and the scheduling date.
If you have set planning direction forwards in the strategy profile:
There is not enough working time or capacity available for scheduling between the scheduling date and the end of the planning area.
If you plan characteristics-dependently:
You have assigned characteristics to operations of the order that do not agree with characteristics of the resources on which the operations are to be processed.
The system cannot find any suitable characteristics on the resources and so it cannot schedule.
Procedure
Depending on which of the above reasons is the cause, change the following settings:
Change the working times and capacities of the resources.
Set the planning mode "infinite planning" in the strategy profile.
Activate the planning direction forwards or backwards and reverse in the strategy profile.
Change the characteristics that you have assigned to the resource.
Can anyone let me know what else need to check to avoid the error.

The function "Reschedule" follows an all-or-nothing logic, which means that either all selected activities on a resource can be re-scheduled or the function (better the liveCache) cancels and no activities will be re-scheduled.
One reason might be that you have a pegging relation to a fixed activity (this might be a sales order, forecast, an activity outside the propagation range...) which cannot be considered during the
scheduling. The liveCache cannot break the pegging, therefore it cancels the scheduling.
Please have a look at the note 510669 which offers a heuristic on the basis of the algorithm /SAPAPO/HEUR_PLAN_SEQ_PACKAGES. This heuristic should solve your problem. It will re-schedule as many activities as possible and will not cancel if one fails.
Depending on your current release there could be also some correction notes like

Any limitations in JDBC scheduling

Could anyone tell me the number of conditional receivers we could add in the receiver determinations. To be precise can we add 1666 systems and more?? Any limitations in JDBC scheduling??

ideally you should be able to add plenty of receivers but if the receivers are really huge then its best to maybe use the enhanced RD and achieve the results from a maintenance perspective.
regarding JDBC scheduling there are no specific limitations

Unloading time during scheduling-GATP

Hi Expert,
I am facing an issue during GATP. During scheduling the "UNLD" ie Unloading time is not considering. When I checked with the SAP IMG help. It is maintained as "not support ".So how can I include the unloading time during the scheduling ?
Also is it possible to do any customization for the same ?

Got the point but allow me to crib a bit.
If I have a warehouse in middle of Montana and the nearest sea port where I "deliver" the goods (from another country) is Philadelphia then obviously the duration between Philadelphia and Montana is un-ignorable and unpardonable for service level measurements. Somewhere I need to account for this time. Sometimes my obligations end on delivery at port and sometimes I am obliged to deliver at customer door step and it could be the same customer at differnet times in a year. No I am not complicating for the sake of it. This is how the business is.
So any "requested delivery date" on door delivery terms - delivered duty paid at warehouse door- must consider this part of transit + port clearance + other waiting times. I thought UNLD was the best condition type for the same. Additing this portion also to TRAN now means I need to build additional access in TRAN and complicate my data maintenance.
Why according to you SAP provided UNLD as a condition type. I would have appreciated if this was clearly separate duration to represent something unque. On the same reasoning other durations are negligible as compared to TRAN and UNLD or rather TRAN+UNLD and no one cares if pick date and load date are a day or 2 apart.

Error during Scheduling Parameter Customizing - Message SV033

Dear all,
I am facing a problem when I try to assign a scheduling parameter to a service order in customizing with Tcode OPU7. I basically try to link my service order to the plant with a forwarding scheduling parameter and the system gives me the following message:
Specify the key within the work area
Message no. SV033
Diagnosis
You have attempted to create an entry whose key is not in the range defined for this area.
System Response
The entry cannot be created.
Procedure
Please check your entry.
There are several threads about that message in the forum here but it doesn't helped me to solve the problem.

Error when selecting system during scheduling of background job in RAR

Hi,
I am getting an error when I attempt to schedule a background in RAR. It happens when I go to the multiple system selection option. I select a system and click copy. An error example below appears in the logs even when I dont go ahead and schedule the job. The job still runs and returns results when scheduled. However these errors in the logs concern me. Anybody else experience this?

Did you check the connector whether the background system is connecting or not.
Goto RAR-Configuration>connectors> select the connector of the background system and then press on test connection.

There are 2 steps to get the remote key in the Import Manager destination side. One is to ensure that the key mapping is set to YES in Console ( which I guess you have already done). And the other is while Opening import Manager, choose the Remote system in the Connect to Source screen.i.e Mention the remote system name in the Remote System in the Import Manager dialog Box. This would get you the remote key on the destination side, that you are looking out for.

"file already exists in the destination" during application build

I am trying to build an executable and have gotten the following error:
The file already exists in the destination.
C:\Program Files\National Instruments\LabVIEW 8.2\vi.lib\Sentech LV 82\Shared Library - Trigger SDK\StTrgApi.dll
WHen I start the build I go to "Build Executable" then click "Build"
The VI for the project I have open is the Startup VI and I do not list any Dynamic VIs or Support FIles.
I am using Labview 8.2
I installed a user library for a USB camera from Sentech wich I am using and it works fine in Labview 8.2
When I try to do the build I get the error shown above. The file it is referencing is there along with the .lvlib file.
I tried removing the file shown in the error message to see what would happen and I continue to get the same error even though the file is not there. I even restarted LV and still got the same error.
I am new to the application builder (v7 ?) and have not been able to find any good tutorials. Does anyone have any ideas on this error or a good place to learn more about app builder.

Issue with RFC destination during HCM - VDS - IDM configuration

Hi,
I am trying to configure HCM and IDM (v7.1) using VDS. I am following the Configuration Guide. While creating the RFC Destination, I specified program ID as LDAP_VD and in Gatewayhost I have entered the host of IDM Server (where VDS is also installed). In Gateway service I have put sapgw00. But when I do connection test, I get u201CERROR: SAP gateway connection failed. Is SAP gateway started?u201D. Looks like it is trying to connect to IDM server and is looking for sapgw00 (on port 3300) and is not able to find it.
What could be the reason for error? Am I doing RFC destination configuration correct? Do I need to put HCM system host in the Gatewayhost field?

You have to enter the hostname of the SAP server, not the LDAP server.
The LDAP connection is configured later.

WBS Forecast dates disappears during scheduling after final confirmation

Hi dear Experts.I faced a problem with WBS dates.
The system overwrites forecast and basic dates on WBS after final confirmation of attached activities. And start to schedule wbs dates from dates of activities with no confirmation. Is there any way to solve this prolem?
In other words i need my WBS to take into scheduling ALL the operations forecast date. Moreover how the system can overwrite the forecast dates wich were entered manually by user?
Green - actual dates
Yellow (orange) - forecast dates
Bue - Basic dates
Please help.

Please check the control parameters for WBS Scheduling. Check if the scheduling method over here is WBS Determines Dates. If this is the case, irrespective of the scheduling that was carried out at the activity level, the system overwrites the basic and forecast dates present at the WBS level. May be in your case the scheduling method that had been used was "Network determines dates".
. Please change this and let me know if this helps.

Verity Collection dropped during scheduled task.

I have a verity collection that I have scheduled to refresh every night at 2am. Over the past week, when it is scheduled to kick off, it is dropped from the "Verity Collections" window and in the error report, it states that the collection in question does not exist.
I've gone back to the directory on the server and the said collection folder is still there, but does not show in the "Verity Collections" in CF Admin.
I've created another "version" of the collection and manually kicked off the task and the collection does refresh. When the scheduled task kicks off again at the 2am mark, the same error happens again and the colection does not show in the Verity Collections window.
Any ideas?
