Limited number of formula operators on InfoProvider level

Hello.
I read in documentation that when you create the Calculated Key Figure on the InfoProvider level, there is less operators available, than if you create CKF (formula) on query level. I am a bit confused, because I can see exactly the same list of available operands either i create CKF locally or globally, on InfoProvider level. Do you have the idea, what functions are not available on IP level?

Limited number (5) of mass change can be done in trade promotion of CRM 7.0

Hi,
our CRM system is upgraded from 5.0 to 7.0 .
We are creating trade promotions and mass changes of status are done in here.
There was no limited value in mass change, many of trade promotions can be massly changed in 7.0 too.
But a new support package is dowloaded to the system, means level was 003 and now it is 005.
After this support package load, a limited number of mass change can be done. This number is 5.
if we select more than 5 records, an error occured and nothing can be done.
We have to select 5 or less.
But this is a time loss for our work and our customers, what is the reason? how can I increase the number or totaly destroy this limitation?? Please helppp !!!

can anyone give a good contact number for someone in the upper level of customer care i have talked to two of the worst people from customer service, the "supervisor" who was very appropriate did give me a address to mail a complaint which i will but being a disabled veteran of the Iraq war and a member of the wounded warrior project i get upset at certain people who show no respect for the average person and even worse of an attitude to those injured serving their country. I'm in no way saying I'm better its just that i expect a grain of respect as a person, a fellow American working everyday just to get by. my issue was not an impossible issue to resolve but i was told by one rep that it was not possible after my call being "dropped" i called back and talked to another. Luke from call center Washington state told me it was possible but that the phone i ordered two days prior (that rep failed to finish the order)was no longer available and i could pick a different phone not on back order.......i mentioned my confusion to the lack of service and being told two separate things. i asked why this was when i was not the one who made the mistake he told me it was not there fault and pushed the blame to me....he then called me dude and started to speak over me. when i asked to speak to a supervisor he asked why i told him i was no longer interested in talking to him he said why, i asked to be transferred again he kept refusing saying listen man I'm trying to help you what do you want. i asked to speak to his supervisor at least three more times he refused. i asked for his employee information so i could call back to report his rude behavior he refused to give me anything except at the end he finally told me his name.. there is more but my hand is tired is there anyone who can help me? if i find an answer as i will be posting this to many sites i will post it here.

PO NUMBER NOT GETTING UPDATED at MIRO level

Dear Freinds,
Pl advise for the below scenario.
1.PO made for 100 qty's thru ME23N
2.MIGO done for 50 qty's ( here PO numb appears in the migo doc)
3.Part II Excise entries done thru J1IEX for 50 qty's ( here PO numb appears in the doc)
4.MIRO done for 50 qty's ( here PO numb does not appears in the doc)
Because PO numb is not appearing at MIRO level, Cenvat clearing a/c cannot be cleared line item wise thru auto clearing ie thru F.13.
I want to use F.13 for clearing Cenvat clearing a/c & not F.03
All possible config.changes have been tried, but PO numb is not picked up at MIRO level.

When Miro entry is simulated & later posted the assignment field column for cenvat clearing a/c is blank - doc typr RE whereas during miro , assignment field has been entered.
i have checked the gl master of cenvat clearing a/c, sort key entered is po numb, rest all is ok. i have checked field status grp for cenvat clearing a/c, it looks fine.
when J1IEX entry is passed cenvat clearing a/c shows po numb in the assignment field , but the same is not shown for miro entry.

PS: The GR/IR clg a/c shows po numb at both migo & miro level, however as u would know GR/IR clg a/c is not part of J1IEX entry. i am trying to apply the logic of GR/IR clg a/c to cenvat clearing a/c at miro level , but no success

Blank Records showing at Infoprovider level..how to eliminate@ Report level

Hello Experts,
I am facing an issue. For a particular matierial in the Bex Report 2 KF values must be equl.
this is the complete scenario:
Matirial Total Target Actual Val BIO Actual Val
81271071 9550,52 4,793,67
In the above scenario Total Target Actual Val must be equl to Bio Actual Val.
I checked all the restrictions on the KF. 2 KFs are restricted by the same KF (Condition Base Value I ) .
Other than that for KF Total Target Actual Val restrictions are on Condition Type, Matierial Group 3. And for the KF BIO Actual Val restrictions are Red Group For Rebate.
I checked the data @ Infoprovider level for both the Good and Bad Test Cases. And found that for the Bad Test Case, if i give the input for Red Group for Rebate charactoristic there is no blank records are showing and where as if i will not give the input for Red Group for Rebate there are some blank records are showing up and adding those blank records.
Where as for the Good Test Case even if i provided the input for Red Group for Rebate or not, there is no blank records are showing up and in the report both the KFs are showing the equal values itself..
user requirement is at the report level both the KFs must be equal.
Here in the above up to now what i have done, i have provided the information.
requesting all, kindly give me the reply how can i solve this issue. Expecting more and more bright suggestions .

Just a quick question. Have you restricted your KFs unnecessarily? Are the semantic keys valid if debited? Like, sometimes the clearing doc #s are no entered for a open po# and necessary for a closed one. In such case, have you checked if the semantic key is correctly defined? Cubes must help you aggregate data & reflect them within one line item as in your case.

Thanks. So there's no means of knowing whether a text message has been delivered, not to mention time of delivery. Perhaps I've gone for the wrong phone. It might do a lot but seems to miss out on some basics.

Hi,
it's better to do full table scan when values are evenly distributed. Indexes are good when you want to select less than 10% of all data (it depends).
BUT you can use index when there is another data distribution - e.g. value 'Unprocessed' 1%, 'Processed' 99% (and you have computed statistics). Generally in datawarehouse you could use bitmap index, because it is small and fast, but it's not suitable in OLTP with many data modification. Then you can use b-tree index or functional index.
create index idx on mytable (decode('Unprocessed', 1, null));This funcional index will be small and fast too, because there won't be any null values (but you must use this clause in select statement to use index).

Forest Level Trust to limited number of DC's

I need to establish a 1-way forest level trust between 2 forests across firewalls. The source forest has a single domain with 13 domain controllers. Is it possible to limit the trust communication to only 2 domain controllers in the source
domain or do I need to open up the required ports from the target domain controllers to all the DC's in the source forest?

Based on my understanding of forest trust, if you create a one-way, forest trust between forest A (the trusted forest) and forest B (the trusting forest), members of forest A can access resources located in forest B, but members of forest B cannot access resources
located in forest A using the same trust. There is no limitation for the number of DCs.
