Limiting the output to one page

Hi,
I have requirement to print the output two copies every time it is run and it is achieved,but client has got one more requirement now in the second copy of the output client want to have only first page of the output and rest of the pages should not be printed.
please guide on the possibilities of the requirement.

Well to be specific, I am looking to print labels in excel format( to allow end user to fill in before printing).
The condition is to have 5 rows of labels on one page with two columns. I was able to get the two columns by creating a master table with two cells holding two tables and changing fonts to fit within a page.
However, I am not able to prevent Rows from splitting across pages. The table properties (allow row to break across pages) does not seem to work under excel - causing 5 and a half printing on one page.
Any ideas?
I have tried adding extra rows to the master table changing font size etc.. nothing works...

On my iMac running OS 10.6.8 (but not on my Macbook Air running Lion) the "go back one page" button retains a maximum of 5 prior websites. Is there any way to avoid that 5-page limit?

On both computers, I'm running FF 7.0.1, but the problem has been with me on my iMac ever since FF 5. Both computers have the same add-ons, and as far as I can tell all settings are the same as well. I finally found a solution. In about:config, under browser.sessionhistory.max_entries, I changed 5 to 20. End of problem.

Try to open the right-click context menu of the Back button and see if you can go back further.
The current active entry in that list has a bullet in front of it.
If you hover an entry in that session history list then it shows the direction by adding an arrow at the left.
You can left click an item to open it in the current tab or middle-click or Ctrl left-click an entry in that list to open that link in new tab, just like you can with other links.

If I open another URL from my homepage, the "go back one page" button is grayed out so I can't get back to my home page.

This problem only started recently.
Opening another web page (URL) from my homepage always opens in the same tab and the "go back one page" button is gray and does not work. If I open a series of web pages in the same tab the green "back" button is green. Clicking on the "recent pages" down arrow will allow me to go back, but only to the page after the home page.
In other words, after browsing, I can get back to the opening page (my home page) only by clicking on the house icon but not by using the "recent pages" function.
Is there an option that changed after the last update?

Do you see any tab history if you right click the Back or Forward button?
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

Hi,
could you please try to find any blank oject like rectangle/textbox, specially at the lower end of the page. Use Edit -> "Select All" to select everything on the page, it will be easier to locate it.

Firefox 4 deleted the feature to the right of the "go forward one page" button" that showed all the websites I'd visited in the chain from Home to the present one.

There was a little arrow in Firefox 3 to the right of the "go forward one page" arrow that I could click and it would display a list of the websites I'd viewed since I left "home". That is missing in Firefox 4. It is very tedious to have to "go back one page" over and over until I finally get to Home [or another earlier website]. Some websites won't even let me "go back" beyond their own websites, so I have to close Firefox altogether and start over, to get to a previous website. I really miss that little arrow!!

Click-hold the unified Back / Forward button, or right-click it to get the Back / Forward history for that tab.

The 'go back one page' and 'go froward one page' buttons do not work (they're light gray as opposed to dark gray) and neither does the 'back' button after right clicking. They worked fine in Firefox 3 but do not in version 4

Can Firefox 6 be configured to remember more than 5 prior pages for each tab so that the "go back one page" feature will allow me to retrace my steps as many as 20 pages back?

Before Firefox 5, the "go back one page" history would show 10 or more prior pages for each tab, so that I could go back quite a way in retracing my browsing steps. With Firefox 5.0.1 and 6, however, the list of prior pages seems to have been capped at 5. I would like to configure Firefox to remember 20 or 25 prior pages for each tab. Is there any way to do that?

(1) Firefox's built-in post-crash page has not been a real HTML page for a long time (for example, from the time of Firefox 22, see: [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/968212 Want to save LOTS of versions of "Restore Session.xht" from the "oops ..." page for later use]). If you had this working differently with Firefox 25, that might have been created by an extension.
You can check to see whether extensions are disabled or need an update on the Add-ons page. Either:

How to setup the Hyperlink from one page to another page

I am new to Oracle APEX. My requirement is to setup a Hyperlink from one page to another page.
Currently I am displaying 4 columns in the report of Page 1. The report is like below,
Survey Response Count_of_Cities City_Name
AB Y 2 LONDON,CHICAGO
AB N 3 DELHI,MUMBAI,CHENNAI
AC Y 1 LONDON
AC N 4 TOKYO,HONGKONG,BANGALORE,HYDERABAD
But the revised requirement is I need to show the City_name in another page i.e. Page 2 when the user clicks on value of the Count_of_Cities. i.e. If the user clicks on 3, In page 2 the values should be appear like below
DELHI
MUMBAI
CHENNAI
If I click on the 4, the values in the page should be like below,
TOKYO
HONGKONG
BANGALORE
HYDERABAD
Currently in Page 1 I am hiding the City_Name and created a Hyperlink on Count_of_Cities. When clicked on Count_of_Cities it is navigating to Page 2. But the values for City_Name are not showing properly.
Please sugegst how I can show the City_Name values in page 2?
Please let me know if you require any additional information.

I got the answer on my own.

Why is there no option to go back multiple pages when browsing a website? it is annoying thet there is no option with the back/forward one page button.

When browsing a fashion or shopping website, you often look at an item, then browse the colour choices, you have to go back multiple pages, before you can look at the next item. Where has the back multiple pages arrow gone?

To go back (or forward) more than one page, click and hold the mouse button on the back (or forward) button for a few seconds and a list of recently visited sites will show. The down arrow that used to be next to the buttons to view the list was removed to add more space in the toolbar.

SmartForm Printing all the Items in one page

When iam trying to print the data in the smartform.....it is printing all the data in the one page(if 2 pages are shown in printpriview).But the same invoice is going to be printed in all the plants in the same format...so i hope it is not the printer problem.so any one pls go thru' this thread and try to give the solution as early as possible.....
The main thing is if line items are 18.15 on one page and 3 on second page in printpriview...but while printing the the second page 3 line items are overwriting on the first 3 line items of the first page itself.

How to send the output of one step as input to next step

Hello All,
I have a question that how to send the output of the first step as the input to the next step.
for e.g
consider a test sequence as below,
1.battery ON.
2. read Voltage
3. Check battery voltage.
as initially the battery gets ON when ever the test starts. in the second step it reads the voltage. let us assume that the voltage is 11.5V,
in the third step we r checking/validating that battery voltage in the range 11V to 12 V. . I mean if the vloltage value is less than 11V or greater than 12V te test has to FAIL.
so in order to check that voltage we need to send the voltage read from the second step.
so how can I send the voltage read from the second step to the third step so that I can check the battery voltage test.
kindly suggest me this using LabVIEW/Test stand.

Why do you need the third step, if the second step is a Numeric Limit Test step type, you can setup the limits of this step for your required limits of 11V and 12V. Your result is returned from your VI to Step.Results.Numeric which will be evaluated in the Status Expression giving you a Pass / Fail status.
Look at the example TestStand\examples\demo\..\Computer Motherboard Test\computer.seq
But to answer your reoriginal question, some additional information is required.
What are your inputs and outputs assigned to in TestStand, do you use the Step properties, Locals, FileGlobals?

Need to restrict the form into one page with out second page in SAP Script

Hello Friends,
I have a query in SAP script form, I had created one form for confirmation request for FI, i had copied the standard form F130_CONFIRM_01 and made the changes as per the requirements and checked in f.17 which was perfect. I had removed all the lines except wherever the changes i had made in the form.
Here iam getting one problem, when iam printing the confirmation request it should give me in one page but here iam getting two pages of which one page iam getting the complete information and the second page iam getting the empty page.
It should not give the second page. i also checked by giving the condition if &page& eq 1 but no difference iam getting two pages.
Pl. let me know how to solve this problem since this is very very emergency issue.

If i am not wrong is this Tcode for customer/vendor balance confirmation? In the standard script that u mentioned, the first page id the letter, and the second page contains the balance sheet.You would not be able to restrict the blank pages from coming, coz there are in all three scripts configured for the TCode F.17, so the blank pages are bound to come, even if the conditions for pages are maintained. I have faced similar problems in my development too....

What is the best way to run two programs simulataneously using the output from one to run the other?

I just kind of wanted to get an opinion from some people on here. I have two main VIs. The first is a DAQ system that reads 99 different sensors and feeds that data into an array. The second is a real-time processing system that is designed to take the array and do numerous calculations. Both VIs output data to the front panel that I want to see, so I don't want to just use one as a SubVI.
Is there a simple way to run both VIs, using the output from the DAQ system to feed the processor so that you can easily see the front panels of both VIs? I had considered just copying the real-time processor code into the DAQ VI, but I'm worried the resultant VI will be very large and unsightly.
On a side note, am I over thinking this? Excuse me if this is a rather dumb question, it's been a long week...aaaand it's Wednesday.

There are a number of ways that you can go about this, but having both front panels open isn't a problem (assuming there is screen space!). Both could be sub-vi's of another "calling" vi, with their front panels set to open when called. The data from the DAQ side can be sent to the other through a number of ways, "producer-consumer" (many threads about this topic, examples in the LabVIEW examples, etc.) is one of the more robust techniques. If created correctly it allows one to run at a different rate than the other, although if the producer is "producing" much faster than the consumer can "consume" it will end up with problems.

In addition to plain text output, the SQL*Plus command-line interface enables you to generate either a complete web page, or HTML output which can be embedded in a web page. You can use SQLPLUS -MARKUP "HTML ON" or SET MARKUP HTML ON SPOOL ON to produce complete HTML pages automatically encapsulated with <HTML> and <BODY> tags.
By default, data retrieved with MARKUP HTML ON is output in HTML, though you can optionally direct output to the HTML <PRE> tag so that it displays in a web browser exactly as it appears in SQL*Plus. See the SQLPLUS MARKUP Options and the SET MARKUP command for more information about these commands.
SQLPLUS -MARKUP "HTML ON" is useful when embedding SQL*Plus in program scripts. On starting, it outputs the HTML and BODY tags before executing any commands. All subsequent output is in HTML until SQL*Plus terminates.
The -SILENT and -RESTRICT command-line options may be effectively used with -MARKUP to suppress the display of SQL*Plus prompt and banner information, and to restrict the use of some commands.
SET MARKUP HTML ON SPOOL ON generates an HTML page for each subsequently spooled file. The HTML tags in a spool file are closed when SPOOL OFF is executed or SQL*Plus exits.
You can use SET MARKUP HTML ON SPOOL OFF to generate HTML output suitable for embedding in an existing web page. HTML output generated this way has no <HTML> or <BODY> tags.
