Line breaks where I didn't put them??

When I write emails I hit return where it seems there should be the end of a line. Then when my recipient replies, I see my email the way they received it and it
looks horrible because
it looks like this on some lines.
I can't figure it out. Am I supposed to not ever hit return when composing
emails? I think it happens most in the emails that I edit. But that's supposed
to be the beauty of email, you can edit what you say before you say it.....
but that's not supposed to show.....this has gone on ever since Tiger & maybe before. I can't find any settings to change this in preferences.

Myself, I just keep typing until it forces to the next line. I hit return when I end a paragraph or some the such. If you don't hit return it will do it force itself to the next line.
Another thing is that when you're composing you may have you mail open at a very small size or a very big size but the person you send it to will probably not have it exactly the same size so your type is not going to be seen exactly as you see it.
Also if the Mail program is supposed to disregard your return hit as a paragraph end or line change then it will also disregard mine when I want it to be paragraph end or line change.
As hard as this post is to read with so much per paragraph just think what it will look like if all of the returns were ignored. All I have written would look very busy and cluttered.

It sounds like you must have created an open wireless network that anybody can join. You should be able to easily remedy the situation by properly configuring your network by enabling the WPA2 security feature at a minimum so that a passord is required to join the network.
What type of network equipment do you have? If you have an Airport Extreme or Time Capsule the Airport Utility software provided by Apple makes the setup quite easy. The Airport utility can be found in the Applications/Utilities folder. If you have equipment from another vendor just Google WPA2 followed by the vendor make and model info. There are usually plenty of others that have created helpful guides.

Line Breaks are not appearing in Production system

In my company users have one problem, which I am not getting the same either Dev or Quality. I tried to replicate it but I am getting fine without any issues. Issue is users create sales order in Interaction Center by using the credit cards. We wrote the code to pop up with the information about the amount being deducted against each card( users can use multiple cards) once the order is saved.
Below is the code in one method of the class. lv_text contains the information like 'Visa 3002 for amount 1209.00 is authorized(#1567)'
CONCATENATE lv_text ' ' INTO lv_text SEPARATED BY cl_abap_char_utilities=>newline.
Problem is in Production we are not getting line breaks whereas I am getting fine in Dev and Quality with the above code. In production, users are getting below. There is full stop between the amount(#1567$) and .
Visa 3002 for amount 1209.00 is authorized(#1567). Visa 5443 for amount
1300 is authorized(#7654). 
But in Dev and Quality the same above message we get like below, which is correct.
Visa 3002 for amount 1209.00 is authorized(#1567).
Visa 5443 for amount 1300 is authorized(#7654).
I changed personal layout values in the Personalization and tried but no use.
Can anyone help me in this regard?

Taking pieces of a signal and putting them in an array

Lets say I have a square wave in a large array (1X#samples). I want to
put the values of each positive part of the square wave into an array
such that its size is #positivepulses X #samplesperpulse. The only
thing that I know for certain about the square wave is that the
non-positive parts of the signal are zero.
Any suggestions for how I might achieve this?

use the java.util.Scanner class.
read in the file. loop through the lines to get the numbers and put them into an array and/or add them.
this is something you could have easily looked up on your own. if not in google, then definitely within these forums.

HT4528 when i first got my iphone thru verizon, i had 2 movies, and numerous songs that came from my cd's i owned already. or from music that i already had on my computer. however, i didn't think i would be chgd for putting them on itunes,i pd more doing

Whenever RecordID is same I want to show everything in one line with line breaks in between.
In the above example RecordID=1 has 3 rows, display it as 1 row. But Whenever 'ReceivedBy' is there for same recordID put a line break before "ReceivedBy"

A question about variables and where I should put them!

Hi, I'm fairly new to java. I'm a first year computer scientist and I'm struggling with where I should put my variables.
So far on the course I've been able to wing it as we have not been doing object orientated programming, it was more like programming in fortran!
Anyway if you look at the code below, I need the variables 'speed', 'distance', 'time' and 'tottime', to be calculated in my seperate methods, but then called in my main part to be printed out; however I have no idea where I put them to get this to work!
The program is by no means complete, it's still a work-in-progress, but I need to get this sorted before I continue.

Your calcTime() can't see variables local to other methods you either need to make them global or pass them in as parameters. To make them global:

This may be related to a new feature embedded in iOS7 that shows all purchased music by default. Go to Settings > Music, then turn off Show All Music. See if the issue ceases once the feature has been disabled. This information is located on page 63 of the user guide below.

It looks like that the installation process of one of the applications have caused some trouble. One of them may have changed or added kext files.
For that, the Window server crashed if you try to open a non Apple application like Firefox
Start the system in safe mode by holding the shift key on power on.
If save mode is reached, perform a permissions repair with the Disk Utility.
Don't bother about upcoming warnings like "could not repair file xy" as that occur cause you use the tool on a running system and opened files can not get touched by the tool.
After repair is done reboot system to normal and try to open Firefox.
If the problem persits, please report back here.

Desktop icons disappear. won't stay where i drop them, and disappear if i try to put them in a folder.

Recently noticed several icons on my desktop had disappeared.... found them in applications and documents folder, but they should be living on my desktop and I didn't move them. This keeps happening... I wake up my computer, quite randomly it seems, a file will have disappeared.
At the same time I noticed several files on my desktop had moved themselves all the way to the top of the screen, just the very bottom lip of the file names were visible. Clean Up had no effect on these files.
On top of that, no icon will stay where I drop it. I can pick up and drag the icon, but as soon as I drop it, it flies to some random spot on the screen.
Finally, i can move a desktop file inside any folder. if I try it the file just disappears.
I'm assuming all these problems are related and I'm hoping someone has a suggestion of what I can do to correct it. thanks.

Click on the desktop and check Finder > View > Show view options.
Sort by.. snap to grid will have the files flying around..
Disappearing files in folders no idea except I have always been advised not too have too many items in the desktop folder.. (The desktop is actually a folder, see finder)

How to put line break in the text

This is a simple problem.i don't know how to concat a line break while creating a text.
I am looping through the results of a query and want to form the text using the results.
For each row of the resultset,I want to create a new line in the text i create.
I was wondering how to put a new line in the text.
I thought I can concat '\n' ,but it does not work.
the code snippet in the procedure is :
